The Suffering of Si Kembang Village

The Suffering of Si Kembang Village
Gavin Pradana's

The wind blew fiercely, flying the old leaves that had already detached from the stalk.

The sound of the roar of the rushing river water, accompanied Nilam who sat on the rocks by hugging his folded legs.

Tears are still faithfully present.

Representing all his grief, his pain, and his fragility.

I want to run as fast as possible.

Releasing all the heavy burdens that were so at home accompanied me.

But I can't, these legs are too weak for me to run with.

As it dissolved in its turmoil, Nilam gasped. Someone patted him on the back.

Nilam turned his head.

"Didy" he said, seeing who had broken his daydream.

"What are you doing here?"

"Catch the fish." (In sign language)

"Oh, did you get the fish?" Nilam had already fully understood Didy's every hand and body movement.

"It." Didy showed three medium-sized fish that had been tied. He then sat himself beside Nilam. "What are you doing here?"

"You're good at catching fish too." Nilam smiling. "Silver just wants quiet, Dy. And here's the most suitable place."

" What's wrong with Brother? Looks like Brother's crying?"

"It's okay, Dy. I just remember someone."

"Who?"

"He's a little friend Brother first."

"Male?"

Nilam. " Sister was 8 years old, and she was 11. We always play together here, in this place." Nilam smiling. His mind moved back to his beautiful childhood.

"He's handsome, Dy. She's kind. He always takes care of my brother. In fact, when Brother fell down and cried while playing, he comforted Brother, then he drove Brother home in his carrier. That's sweet, isn't it?" continued Nilam, smiling.

"Then where is he now?"

"Eitherway. Brother doesn't know, Dy. Since M'bok Nah, her nanny was sickly, she was brought back by her parents to the city. From then on, I never saw him again."

"Sister, can you ask the nanny?"

Nilam shook his head slowly.

"Mbok Nah was dead, shortly after she was picked up by her parents."

Nilam lowered his head, even though for years he still could not forget the figure of his little friend who always protected him.

Didy nodded his head, he understood the feeling of the girl he thought was his sister.

Didy then pulled Nilam's arm, got him up.

"What do you want, Dy?" ask Nilam as he steps to follow where the boy will take him.

Without warning, Didy pulled Nilam into the river. He invited her to swim and play with water.

"You're naughty, yeah...." Nilam laughed loosely, giving splashes of water to Didy's face.

They dissolve in the excitement that Didy creates.

I will always make you smile Brother Nilam. Didy said in his heart.

The City A

In the afternoon, on the 6th floor of a company building.

"How's your report on the tea plantation, Ken?" ask a young man in his 25s who is sitting in his big chair. With the laptop still on in front of him.

"Everything's okay, Gav. The results of its tea leaves are abundant and of excellent quality. The workers on the plantation, working very nicely and painstakingly," Kenzie replied. He was on the sofa leaning against the left wall of the room, flipping through the sheets of paper in his hand.

"Goodle. Then, when can we start working with the plantation owner?" ask the man Gav called.

"I'll be back there soon. I have to prepare the files in detail first."

"OKAY. Oiya, Ken, may I know, what is the name of the area where the tea plantation is located?"

"Why, Gav? Do you want to come with me there? The place is so beautiful. I guarantee you won't regret it." Kenzie got up to the man whose full name was Gavin Pradana. Then sit on the chair opposite to him.

"Oh, no, no. You take care of everything, Ken."

"You sure ? We can have fun there. Enjoy the fresh air away from the hustle and bustle of town. The atmosphere of the village is still shady and very well maintained. Come on, Gav .. This one time you come with me to work in the field. Aren't you bored with the atmosphere of this room?"

" Can't, Ken. Even though I'm bored, I still won't go with you."

"No, there's nothing wrong, Ken."

"Then?"

" Because I already have another place I'm going to, a place I haven't been to for a very long time." Gavin's eyes were staring in any direction. "I miss him."

Kenzie narrowed his eyes." A girl?" tanyanya.

Gavin turned towards the face of the friend as well as his right hand. Then nod. "Yes." Yeah."

"May I know what that girl is like? It looks like from the radiance of your eyes, you miss him a lot."

Gavin slammed his back against the back of his chair. He closed his eyes for a moment. "I don't know myself, Ken."

"You mean?" ask Kenzie wonder.

Gavin straightened his body again. "Fourteen years, I haven't seen him."

Kenzie displayed his surprised expression. "Wow, fourteen years? Did I not hear wrong?"

"Yes, that long." Gavin smiled wryly. "But I'm pretty sure she's definitely grown into a very beautiful woman."

"Where did your faith come from, Gav?"

"From everything that's on her."

"But fourteen years is not a short time, Gav. When you last saw her, she was too small to describe her beauty today. And maybe now she's married. Or the worst possibility he ...."

Gavin glanced at Kenzie's sinister face.

"Dead you mean, Ken?"

"Emm ... It's possible, right?"

"No, Ken. I'm sure he's alive. Whether he's married or not, I don't care at all. I'll see him no matter what."

Kenzie smile. "This is what I admire about you, Gav. Always be firm in your stance. Then, when was the plan that you'd go to that place, and meet him?"

"I want it soon."

"alright. Hope it pays off. And most importantly ...." Kenzie paused his words for a moment. "May he still be in that place."

Gavin smiles. "Hopefully." He closed his laptop. "It's late in the afternoon, we'd better go home, Ken."

"No overtime?" ask Kenzie.

Gavin. " I'm tired today."

"All right."

"Youngpammm...!!" pure yells from kajauhan.

Nilam, who was still playing with Didy in the river, was surprised.

"Oh my God, Pure aunt's voice," murmured Nilam.

Hearing Pure's name, Didy immediately moved, inviting Nilam to immediately pull over.

"So, don't go home yet, Dy."

Didy nodded. His arm cue told Nilam to be careful.

Nilam nodded, then rushed up towards Pure who was getting closer to him.

"Basic child does not know himself!"

Plaakkkp!

A hard slap landed on Nilam's delicate cheek.

"God, Bi. Oh, sorry, I'm sorry."

Pure pulled hard Nilam's wet hair. " Don't you just say you're gonna find a job at the market, huh? Then why are you suddenly here? Hana and I have been looking for you around the whole market, you know that, huh?!!"

Nilam held her hair in Pure jubilant.

" Geez, Bi. I beg you, forgive me."

"Sorry, you say? Now come with me home!"

Purely removed his palm from the coarse Patchouli hair. He turned around, then walked towards home.

Patchouli followed him from behind, with his eyelids beginning to sink in the water, which was a condition of grief.

After this, what else will happen to me?
