Like being electrocuted by thousands of volts, Didy was struck by a reality he never even imagined.
It was frozen, with both eyes perfectly rounded with the heat, holding back the melts of grief that kept forcing it out. The turmoil within his chest was undeniable. His whole body began to shake.
"Di.... You're okaywhat?" Danu bent her body, gently shaking Didy's body sitting glued to her side.
"Laws.... I'm sorry Mbok, just told you now...." Mbok Parmi cried full of regret. "Si Mbok knows you must be disappointed. Forgive me, son."
"J-ye-ye.. ja-ja...."
Danu and Mbok Parmi are shocked to hear the voice of Didy, who they have not heard for nearly six years.
"In, you talk? Come on, Dy, Come on. Continue in. Continues. What do you want to talk about?" ask Danu enthusiastically.
But instead of talking, Didy even sobbed. Her tears are flowing. But without sound. The news was like a hard blow that struck right in the heart of his heart.
So I'm the son of the Dahlan master.
Is this how fate controls my life? Didy.
Seeing the teenager cry, Danu could not bear to force him to talk. He patted - patting the 15-year-old's shoulders slowly. "patience, Dy.... Life is sometimes this bitter. You have to try to accept it" Danu said trying to calm down.
Didy didn't comment on Danu's remarks. He rose from his position. Then ran out of the room.
"Dy...!!" yell Danu.
"Lek.." Mbok Parmi's raucous voice. His arms waved weakly towards the door that swallowed Didy's body behind it.
Danu is in confusion, between chasing Didy, and his concerns over Mbok Parmi. He walked out to catch up with the boy, but he stopped him, when he saw Mbok Parmi holding his chest, with both eyes darting upwards, and a quick hunting breath. He walked towards the old woman. "Mmd!" yell Danu worried.
"Doctor...! Sister...!" Danu pressing - a nurse call button located next to the top of the Mbok Parmi bracage.
Moments later, a female doctor followed the nurse behind her, coming in shock. "What's up, Mom?!"
"The Mbok, Doc. Help me!"
"Mas wait outside for a moment. We'll check it out."
"Good, Doc. Please save the mbok."
"We will try. Please come out first."
With a gontai step Danu left the room. Once outside, he immediately searches for Didy's whereabouts. It's been running down every corridor of the hospital.
Until it didn't take long, Danu saw Didy who was sitting hugging his knees on a ladder, with his head set between his legs folded.
"Dy. the Mbok, Dy!"
Hearing Danu's voice, Didy immediately looked up. "Hm.. hmm...." (Why the Mbok?)
"Si Mbok anfal, Dy," Danu replied quickly. "The doctor is handling it now. Let's wake. He needs your support, Dy."
Not immediately, Didy immediately ran past Danu, back to the room where Mbok Parmi was treated. Danu ran after him from behind.
Arriving in front of the door of the nursery Mbok Parmi, Didy saw the doctor who had handled his Mbok, just came out.
"Hmm.. hmm...." Didy used his sign language. And of course the young doctor was confused, examining the meaning of Didy's gestures.
"How's Mbok Parmi doing, Doc?" Danu clarified the question Didy asked.
Didy and Danu were stunned into disbelief.
"Sorry, Mom, Dek. But God wants something else. And this is beyond the limits of our control and capabilities. I hope you guys will be able to let go of Bu Parmi with a heartfelt." The doctor passed by leaving the two men of different generations who were still busy digesting every verse of the sentence he said just now.
Didy stepped slowly into the room where Mbok Parmi breathed his last. He saw a nurse removing medical devices attached to the body of the old woman one by one. And began to fold both hands Mbok Parmi under his chest.
Danu was already standing next to Didy who kept staring at the tired face of Mbok Parmi. The old eye was now calm. Eyes that will never open again, forever.
Until a moment later, the gagu boy rushed to hug the body of Mbok Parmi. An old woman who had cared for and raised him for 15 loving years was now gone.
Didy's cry broke out instantly.
"Mboooks!!!" shout Didy. Finally he was able to release his choked voice for many years. But unfortunately, the voice of his first call was also his last call for Mbok Parmi. A call that will never get a word.
Danu stroked - Didy's bent back elus, tightly hugging Mbok Parmi's stiff body. "Patience, Dy. You must be strong." A drop of her tears also fell following the departure of Mbok Parmi.
"Mmd! Don't leave Didy, Mbok!" Didy clearly shouted his pain.
In his sadness, Danu smiled.
You can finally talk back, Dy.
Danu's heart was full of gratitude.
"I'm sorry, Adek, Mas. We must immediately take care of the corpse," pinta nun who had witnessed Didy's roaring cry. He was seen wiping away a few tears next to his cheek, carried away by the sorrow in the room.
"Di.... It's been. Ikhlaskan Mbok's. Let him calm down" said Danu softly. Then reach into his pants pocket, looking for something.
"Ah, fuck. I jumped through the window, where I might be carrying a cell phone. How to contact the people of the house and the people of the village," muttered Danu who began to be confused.
Didy got up, he swept away the remaining tears on both sides of his cheeks. "Sister..," he called.
Danu, who turned her back to Didy, turned her head for a moment. "Dy... What's wrong?"
"Isn't there a Mr. Kades man outside?"
"Oiya, you're right, Dy. Brother forgot," said Danu, he immediately turned his body about to come out. But he realized something, and turned to face Didy.
"Dy, can you talk well?" tanyanya full of twinkle.
Didy nodded with a smile. "Yes, Brother."
"Yes, God...." Danu immediately hugged the boy. "Sniffish, Dy. You can finally talk. Nilam must be happy to hear this news." Danu let go of his embrace, and switched to holding both of Didy's shoulders.
Hearing Nilam's name, Didy's countenance returned grim. "Sister Nilam...."
Danu frowned in wonder. "You mean, Dy?"
"Let me explain. We have to take care of Mbok's body first, brother."
"God! You're right, Dy. Forgive Brother." Danu rubbed his face rough. "All right, you wait here. Brother came out first to look for Mr. Tono."
"Yes, Brother."
Seriate.....
