The Suffering of Si Kembang Village

The Suffering of Si Kembang Village
Hearts of Didy, Danu, Patchouli & Gossiper

Black clouds were blowing in the wind. A thin mist enveloped the village in that cloudy morning.

God very nicely set the background of the grief of a 15-year-old teenager today.

Didy, the boy who is no longer gagu, is now wallowing in his suffering. The sorrow that is torn from the bitterness of loss.

With an up and down movement, Didy's palm stroked - the epitaph elus Mbok Parmi who had just finished mummified. His tears were unceasingly flowing following the departure of the old woman who was so dear to him. The old body is now buried, with her tender love and smile, which now, only memories remain.

"Dy. We go home, yeah. Looks like it's raining" Danu asked. As all the mourners who took Mbok Parmi to his final resting place, one by one began to leave the cemetery. Leaving Danu who is still loyal to accompany the poor boy.

"I still want to be here, brother." Didy's hoarse voice signified the depth of the wound that was scratched at the deepest point of his heart.

A girl in black clothes wrapped in her body walked over to Danu and Didy. "Dy..," she said.

Didy looked up to see the mp voice.

Danu too.

"Sister Hana...."

"Hana...."

The girl who was none other than Hana was shocked when she heard the voice of teenager Didy. "Dy, you-you bi-can talk?" ask Hana stammered. Can't hide his surprise.

"Yes, Brother."

"Yes, Lord, thank God" said Hana. He then bent his body crouched beside Didy. "Sister is sorry for your passing, Dy. Sorry, Hana's coming late. Mum...."

"It's okay, brother. I-i understand. Brother here must have been through a long debate first with Pure Aunt, right?"

"You're right, Dy," Hana's voice rang out. "Sometimes Sister Hana feels remorse for having been born from the womb of a mother whose attitude has always been that."

"Hana... What are you saying?! You should be thankful you still have a mother who cares about you" Danu warned.

"Sister Danu is right, brother. I should be grateful that I still have a mother. You see me, I don't even know where my mom is." Already fallen down the stairs, maybe that's the right proverb to represent the feelings of Didy now.

"Dy. rest assured that one day you will meet your mother again. He will definitely find you here" Danu said convincingly.

Hana put on a surprised face. "Finding here? Meanin? Isn't your mother dead, Dy?"

Didy fell silent, there was no right word for him to answer Hana's question.

"Let me tell you, Han." Danu gave an answer. "Yeah, Han. Where's nilam? Why is it that every time I try to see him, he's never there?" ask the young man with all his ignorance.

Hana and Didy throw each other a glance.

They are confused about where to start.

"Why are you quiet?"

Tik....

And droplets upon drops of the water of life began to fall on anything around the place. The three youngsters looked up at the sky, making sure. And right, it seems like the sky is indeed grieving today.

"Rain, Dy," said Hana.

"Let's get up, it looks like it's going to be heavy" Danu said. "There's a bamboo hut, we take shelter there. Come on...."

The three ran towards a hut that Danu pointed at.

Byuurr....

Just when they reached the hut, the droplet had invited many of its comrades to turn into a stream. It rained down hard.

"It's a good thing to hunt here," said Hana.

"Yes, Brother" Didy said.

They were now sitting lined up on an old bamboo bale that was inside the hut.

"The two of you haven't answered my question yet" Danu said.

Hana and Didy looked at each other.

"Sister Nilam...." Furthermore, Hana told in detail the series of events that experienced Nilam and his family.

Surprised, shaken, sick, hurt, lost, that's what Danu is feeling now.

"Yes, Danu. We don't know where Nilam's brother is now. He must be afraid to go back home. My grandfather and I miss him so much" Nilam said grimly.

Danu turned her eyes in any direction. "Juragan Dahlan..," he growled.

Didy bowed softly upon hearing the old man's name. The old man who had a big hand presented him to this world. An old man who accidentally ruined his mother's life. And the old man who is broadly speaking his own biological father.

"Dy.. sorry, Brother Danu did not mean to offend you," said Danu when he realized Didy in a moping flush.

"It's okay, brother. It's only natural that everyone hates him." Silent for a moment. "I'm not."

Hana is confused again. His two eyebrows were linked together deeply. "What did Juragan Dahlan do to you, Dy?"

Danu and Didy were silent throwing eyes at each other.

"Nothing, brother. Just a small matter" Didy replied at last.

I'm sorry, Brother. It's not that I don't believe in Hana. But I don't want too many to know the fact that Dahlan is my real father. That would be better for me.

Danu was quite understanding of Didy's decision. That's why he fell silent without chiming in anything.

City A - Pradana Company

Gavin just got out of his car.

"Come," he asked. He opened the door of the car next to him, which revealed the figure of Nilam who was still hesitant in the seat beside the steering wheel.

"I'm afraid, Gav," said Nilam looking up at Gavin's face.

"Yes, God, we've been talking about this all the way. Don'tbeafraid. All my employees are human, not gollum. Come on." Gavin extended his hand to Nilam. Which though took almost 1.5 minutes, the girl finally accepted Gavin's helping hand, and began to move out.

They walked to the company lobby. And when he got there, all the gazes were on Nilam. Until they forget to salute their boss.

"What do you see?!" gavin's reprimand is firm.

"Eh. ma-sorry. Good morning, sir," said one of the female employees on duty at the reception.

"Good morning. Introduce, this is Nuri, my personal assistant."

"Huh...?" Eyes are round and mouth wide open. That's the expression the Gavin employees showed when they heard their boss's words. Including the employees who had just arrived at the place.

Nilam really with his feelings of restlessness, shame and fear. His face was deep,

and his fingers squeezed each other, to sweat the sign of discomfort.

Realizing that, Gavin immediately pulled the girl's arm. Resuming his steps towards the elevator that was fixed on his room, no matter the strange gazes of his employees.

And sure enough, after the death of their big boss, the gossip-hungry creatures immediately crowded.

"Who's the girl, huh?" ask one of them.

"Don't know. I just saw it."

"His face is beautiful. But you see how he looks, it's weird.

"Yes, the black cloth on his head was. iyyuuwh."

"Where did Mr. Gavin get the girl, huh? It looks so dirty."

And then various assumptions about Nilam and Gavin they developed.

Until without them realizing it, a tall and handsome figure, standing not far from them, while crossing his arms under his chest, noticed them intensely.

"What are you doing?"

And success, the question made the gossipers who were huddling, wave.

"P- Mr. Kenzie...."

Genkksss....
