Scary Acts, Seconds of Death of the Prophet SAW

Prophet Muhammad shallallahu alaihi wa sallam (SAW) died on Monday morning on 12 Rabiul Awal in 11 Hijri or 633 AD. He died at the age of 63 over four days.

The close signal of the Prophet's death began when he gave’tikaf for 20 days in the month of Ramadan in 10 H. The angel Gabriel repeated the Quran twice that year with the Prophet. Then in Padang Arafah during Hajj Wada’ the Prophet said: “I do not know for sure. Perhaps after this year, I will not meet you again in this wukuf place for forever”.

His word in Jamratul ‘Aqabah, “Take from me your manasik (ways to perform Hajj), it seems that after this year, I have no chance to perform Hajj.” In addition, in the middle of the tasyrik days, it came down to him Surah An-Nashr. With the descent of the surah, he was increasingly convinced when the separation had arrived and the notification of the impending death had arrived. In the month of safar 11 Hijri the Prophet went to Mount Uhud and prayed for the martyrs who were buried there.

The Prophet then went to the pulpit and said: “I am the one who precedes you. And I will be a witness against you. By Allah, I am really looking at my burrow (burial) right now! I have been given the keys of the treasury of the earth or the keys of the earth. And by Allah, I do not worry about you idolaters after me. But what I'm afraid is that you'll be in a race to get those keys!” (HR Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Feel the ease of the situation you are experiencing rather than the circumstances that are happening to people who are still alive. The slanders have come like pieces of a pitch-black night whose ends follow the beginning of the other piece. The Hereafter is heavier than the world." Scary Acts, Seconds of Death of the Prophet SAW

Then the Prophet said: “Relax, may Allah forgive you all. When all of you have bathed and filled me, I am on my bed, in my house, by my grave. Then all of you come out from my side. So the first to salute me was my friend Jibril AS. Then Mikail, then Israfil then Angel Izrail (Angel of Death) and his army. Then enter you as well as possible. And let those who begin to pray are the men of my family, then the women, and then all of you.”

Death is Getting Closer

Since that day, the Prophet of Allah has increased his pain which he endured for 18 days. Every day, many people visit the Prophet until the coming of Monday, when the Prophet breathed his last.

The day before the Prophet died on Sunday, the disease of the Prophet grew more serious. On that day, after Bilal bin Rabah finished his chastisement, he stood before the door of the house of the Prophet, then saluted: “Assalamualaikum ya Rasulullah?” Then he said again: “Assolah yarhamukallah,” Fatimah replied: “Rasulullah is in pain.”

So Bilal returned to the mosque. When the light of the earth was shone on the sun by noon, Bilal came again to the place of the Messenger of Allah, and he said as he had said. Then the Prophet called him and told him to come in. After Bilal bin Rabah entered, the Prophet said: “I am now in a state of sickness. O Bilal, you command that Abu Bakr be a priest in prayer.”

So Bilal came out and put his hands on his head and said: “Ohai, would it be nice if I was not born my mother?” Then he entered the mosque and told Abu Bakr that he should become an imam in the prayer. When Abu Bakr looked at the empty place of the Prophet SAW, as a meek man, he could not help his feelings anymore, then he screamed and finally fainted. The people who were inside the mosque became noisy so that it was heard by the Prophet.

The Prophet asked: “Wahai Fatimah, what is the noise?” Fatimah replied: “People became noisy and confused because the Prophet was not with them.” Then the Prophet called Ali bin Abi Talib and Abbas and was guided by them both, so the Prophet walked towards the mosque. The Prophet prayed two rakaats.

After that the Prophet looked at the crowd and said: “Yes ma aasyiral Muslimin, you are all in the providence and protection of Allah. Verily He is my substitute for you all, after I am gone. I command you all to fear Allah SWT, for I will leave this mortal world. Today is my first day into the afterlife, and as my last day in this world realm.”

Usama Bin Zaid and his Army Return to Medina

After dawn prayers, Muslims saw the Prophet healthy. Commander Usama bin Zaid pleaded with the Prophet to go and carry out the task given to him by the Prophet. After the Prophet's permission, Usamah went to Juruf, where the Islamic army camped. And then came Usamah at Jusuf.

When busy preparing and organizing the war strategy, suddenly came the messenger from Medina. Bringing news of the death of the Prophet SAW. Hearing the news, Usamah became confused. He was not sure of the Prophet's death, because at dawn he and the other companions witnessed for themselves the Prophet's improved health. And a few hours later, a messenger said that the Prophet was dead.

Without lingering, Usamah and the whole army returned to Medina. Meet for the last time a beloved lover, whom they will never see again. Then the army returned, wrapped in deep sorrow and sorrow all along their journey

The Angel of Death Comes to Guests

The next day, on Monday, Allah revealed to the Angel of Death to come down to earth to meet the Prophet with the best dress. Allah has sent the Angel of Death to take the life of the Messenger of Allah gently. If the Prophet told him to enter, he would be allowed to enter. But if the Prophet does not allow it, he must not enter and let him return.

Then the Angel of Death came down to fulfill the commandment of Allah. He disguised himself as an ordinary man. After arriving at the door of the Prophet's residence, the Angel of Death said: “Assalamualaikum o prophetess, source of revelation and treatise!” Fatimah went out to meet him and said to her guest: “Oh Abdullah (servant of Allah), the Prophet is now in a state of sickness.” Then the Angel of Death said hello again: “Assalamualaikum, can I enter?”

Finally the Prophet heard the voice of the Angel of Death, and the Prophet asked his daughter Fatimah: “Who is on the doorstep?” Fatimah replied: “A man called the Prophet. I told him that the Prophet was in pain. Then he called once again in a voice that rattled the succum.”

The Prophet said: “Do you know who he is?” Fatimah replied: “No, Prophet.” Then the Prophet explained: “O Fatimah, he is the exorcist of delicacy, the disconnecter of desire, the separation of worshipers and the one who enliven the grave. Then the Prophet said: “Come, O Angel of Death.”

Then entered the Angel of Death while saying: “Assalamualaika ya Rasulullah.” The Prophet replied: “Waalaikassalam ya Angel of Death. Have you come for pilgrimage or to uproot my life?” The Angel of Death replied: “I came for a pilgrimage while taking lives. If you allow me to do. If not, I'll go home.” The Prophet asked: “O Angel of Death, where did you leave Jibril?” Answer Angel of Death: “I leave him in the sky of the world.” Just as the Angel of Death finished speaking, suddenly Jibril came and sat down beside the Prophet . Then the Prophet said: “O Jibril, do you not know that my death is near?” Jibril replied: “Yes, O lover of Allah.”

When the Sakaratul Death

Next the Prophet said: “Tell me, O Gabriel, what has Allah prepared for me by his side?” Gabriel replied: “Then the gates of heaven have been opened, while the angels have been lined up to welcome your spirit.” The Prophet said: “All praise and thanks be to my Lord. O Gabriel, what else has Allah prepared for me?” Gabriel answered again: “Now the gates of Heaven have been opened, and the angels have been decorated, the rivers have flowed, and the fruits have been ripe, all awaiting the coming of your spirit.”

The Prophet said again: “All praise and thanks be to my Lord. Tell me again, O Gabriel, what else has God prepared for me?” Jibril replied: “I give happy news to sir. It is the master who is first allowed as intercessor on the day of the apocalypse.”

Then the Prophet said: “All praise and gratitude I offer to my Lord. O Jibril tell me again about the exciting news I.” Jibril asked: “O beloved of God, what exactly do you want to ask?”

The Prophet replied: “About my anxiety. What will be gained by those who read the Koran after me? What will the fasting people get in the month of Ramadan after me? What will the people who make pilgrimages to Baitul Haram get after me?”

Jibril replied: “I bring glad tidings to the Messenger of Allah. Verily Allah has said: I have forbidden heaven for all Prophets and people, until you and your people enter it first

So the Prophet said: “Now, calm my heart and my feelings. O Angel of Death draw near to me.” Then the Angel of Death approached the Prophet. Ali asked: “O Messenger of Allah, who will bathe the Prophet and who will fan him?” The Prophet replied: “Whosoever bathes me is thou, O Ali, while Ibn Abbas throws his water and Jibril will bring hanuth (fragrant oil) from the Heavens.” Then the Angel of Death began to take the life of the Prophet.

When the Prophet's spirit reached the center of the stomach, the Prophet said: “O Jibril, how grievous is death.” Hearing the Prophet's words, Gabriel turned his face away. Then the Prophet asked: “O Jibril, do you not like to look at my face?” Gabriel replied: “O beloved of Allah, who can see the face of the Messenger of Allah, while the Messenger of Allah is feeling the pain of death?” Finally the noble spirit left the body of the Prophet. So the noble man died at the age of 63. May Allah continue to devote His prayers to His Majesty Muhammad SAW, glorifying him, and glorifying him
