Wife of the Prophet

Wife of the Prophet
Sayyid Abdullah bin Muhammad

Abdullah bin Rasulullah's. Abdullah was also named ath-Thayyib or ath-Thahir. He was born in prophetic times.

As the second child of Prophet Muhammad SAW and Khadijah, Abdullah did not have a long life. He has the nickname al-Tayyib al-Taahir. Abdullah died in 615.

The son of Prophet Muhammad and Siti Khodijah sa. Most sources mention that he was born after Bit'sah and it is said that he was nicknamed Thayyib and Thahir. He was born in the early days of Islam and after the revelation. Some historians misunderstand that Thayyib and Thahir were the names of two of the Prophet's children. Abdullah died in the city of Mecca as a child. There is another excerpt saying that he was born and died before Bi'tsah .

It is claimed that when he died, 'Ash bin Wail said: Muhammad was already "Abtar" (The man who had cut off his descendants) and all his sons died. At that time also Surah Al-Kautsar was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad, where the last verse of the surah reads "Verily your own enemy who has no descendants and cut off his descendants.

In the book of al-kafi mentioned that after the death of Abdullah, the Prophet said to Siti Khadijah sa:

"Are you not happy to find him (Abdullah) standing at the gate of heaven, then holding your hand and taking you into the best place in heaven… The Lord is Most High and Most Great with His justice cannot punish His servant who is always grateful and remains patient even though He takes his fruits from him

Abdullah bin Muhammad was the son of the Prophet who was born from Khadijah. Abdullah bin Muhammad was born after Bi’tsah, which is after the Prophet was appointed as the Apostle of Allah. Abdullah received the call of Thayyib and Thahir which means noble and holy. This call was given because Abdullah was born in the prophetic days of the Apostle.

“Muhammad is already “Abtar” (People who have cut off his descendants) and all his sons died.

But his words are disputed through the word of Allah SWT.

“Verily your own enemies who have no children and cut off their descendants.”

Many Muslims rarely know about the life of the Prophet. One of the things that is rarely known is about the lives of the children of the Prophet. Six of the seven children of the Prophet were born to Khadijah. This is what made him love Khadijah more. The apostle said,

“He believed in me when the unbelievers told me, he justified me when the people denied me, he helped me with his wealth when the people withholding his property did not help me, and Allah has bestowed upon her children when Allah has not bestowed upon me the children of other women.” (HR Ahmed no.24864)

The Prophet also had a son from his other wife who was married after Khadijah died, namely Ibrahim, son of Mariyah bint Sham’un. But of all the children of the Prophet, there were 3 of his sons who died at a very young age. To better recognize them the son of the Prophet, here is a rarely known life story of the son of the Prophet.
