The Queen Who Shares Love

The Queen Who Shares Love
Chapter 66 The Turning Point

Isabella. Head empty. He sculpted. Dale moved his lips away from Isabella. Isabella stood up and disappeared into the crowd.

Dale looked only at Isabella who had disappeared. He held his head with both hands while looking down.

'I forgot to erase his memory.' Dale's inner self.

Isabella is still away from the square. He held his lips. He didn't expect Dale to do that. He should have reacted immediately by pushing Dale. He should have been angry, hitting him for having taken his lips. But why did he even run away?

Slowly Isabella stopped. He looked back at Dale. Dale wasn't after him. Why would he expect Dale to go after him?

Isabella realized something. He covered his face with a second while bowing. He fell in love with the woman's lover. He did not like to see the witch away from him and close to other women. Then he expects that person to love him. However, that person did not love him, Dale was just playing around. It was unexpected that Isabella had become his victim.

Isabella gritted her teeth. Then lower his hand slowly. He saw the night sky returning. The fireworks are done.

Dean dragged Rose to the food vendor. He was not willing to leave the First Empress and the Princess, but they needed privacy.

"So what's good food here?" ask Rose.

"I don't know much, Imperial Witch," replied Dean.

"That's it, then what did the Empress try earlier?"

Dean pointed at some food stalls. Rose nodded then asked Dean to take her. The clumsy Dean, keep up with Rose.

They arrive at the booth selling bbq. Rose bought two. One for him and one for Dean. He threw it at Dean.

"I'm sorry I can't accept it, Imperial Witch." Dean shakes.

"Thank you, I have a lot of money. No need to worry. We're having fun here." Rose held Dean's hand and gave the bbq in her hand.

Dean had to take it. Rose walked over to the other diner Dean had pointed at earlier. He spends his bbq while walking. Dean ate it, because he didn't want to waste the food.

Rose bought cotton candy. He also bought it twice. He gave it to Judith's bodyguard. Dean feels bad, but refusing to give people away is also not good. So he ate it.

Rose headed for one of the game outlets nearby. A game similar to Dart. The person who gets the highest score gets the prize. Dean followed behind him.

Rose tried to play it. However, he lost. The score is slightly adrift with the previous winner. Feeling annoyed, Rose asked Dean to try it. Dean had to comply with his request.

He threw darts for darts. The first throw is stuck right in the middle while the second and third throws are outside the middle circle. He got the highest score.

"It turns out you're great, too" said Rose.

It's not a hard thing for Dean. Dean felt like this was archery practice. The difference is no bow. He had to throw an arrow right in the middle. In real combat it is like throwing a spear at an enemy.

Dean got a teddy bear. He frowned, a man does not need such a thing. He presented this doll to Rose in exchange for having bought it earlier.

"Thank you, actually I don't really like dolls, but that's it. Looks like you don't need it either" Rose replied as she received the doll.

Then, there were fireworks. Rose and Dean saw it where they stood. What a beautiful sight. Dean looked at Rose a long time ago. Rose didn't notice it because she was glued to the fireworks.

After the fireworks had faded they went around playing and eating. They're looking for Leticia and Judith because it's time to go home. Actually Rose still wanted to be here but neither Leticia nor Judith came home too late.

"Are you happy to come to the festival, sweetie?" asked Leticia while looking at Judith.

"Yes, I'm so happy Mom," replied Judith excitedly.

"Good then." Leticia smiled as she stroked her daughter's head.

Leticia looked at the night sky. He missed Gerald. He wondered if Gerald was looking at the same sky tonight. He wanted to see her and see her face.

"I want you to come here too" Judith said suddenly.

Leticia turned to Judith. Judith smiled. Leticia was late to reply with a fake smile. Judith realized.

"Didn't Mom like it?"

"Mom doesn't know."

Silence was between the two of them.

Leticia opened her voice. "What if your father doesn't love your mother or you anymore, honey?"

"If it were like that, I would make you love you again" Judith said.

"What if your actions do not produce any results at all?"

"Why do you doubt? Aren't you sure you're gonna love Mom again?"

Leticia didn't want to tell the truth this quickly. He could not say that Braun no longer loved his daughter. But he has to say it.

"Because your father never loved you and your mother at all, dear," replied Leticia softly.

"No, that's not true. I must have loved Mom in her heart proof that I met Mom in the room a month ago. Dad loved me too, proof that he came to see me in the room before training or studying. I'm gonna make Dad love Mom. I promise," Judith's voice trembled slightly.

"Empress Charlotte got all your father's attention. Your father was in Queen Charlotte's room almost every day, different from my mother's. You don't have to fight hard until it's like that, honey."

"But-"

Judith stopped her words from hearing the sound of fireworks. He faced up to see the night view illuminated by the glittering light. He was stunned to forget what he wanted to say earlier. The fireworks are done.

Leticia hugged her daughter. "Mom's okay if your Dad doesn't love Mom, honey. Being yourself is enough for you."

"Good, Mommy." Judith returned her mother's embrace.

Everything her mother said was not true. Her mother was too tired due to the presence of Empress Charlotte that she could not see the truth. Judith will prove that her words are true.

Leticia must have proof that Braun doesn't love her and Judith at all. Words cannot convince Judith. Braun secretly approaches Judith without Leticia's knowledge.

Leticia will be looking for concrete evidence of Charlotte and Braun's relationship before they get married. Then, he will also show Judith the difference in affection given by Braun to his daughter and Louis. The affection Braun gave Judith was not sincere at all. Though the truth hurts Judith should know all that.
