Chapter 35 Blaire Heaven (1)

Leticia was in her room. He's waiting for news from Dale. These few days Dale had not contacted him, it seemed that the search for information this time was quite difficult. One of the magic stones shone. Leticia took the magic stone and activated it.

"Are you alone now, Leticia?" whispered Dale.

As usual Dale must have whispered when he contacted Leticia the first time.

"Yes I'm alone. What information did you get Dale?" ask Leticia without further ado.

"I've been figuring out Count Blaire's new business. The Count opened a restaurant called 'Blaire Heaven' located on the outskirts of the capital. At first I was hesitant, but all the nobles I asked said the same thing. This could also be evidenced from the words of the people living around Blaire Heaven. This place only opened about a month ago," Dale said in a normal voice. 

"So is there anything strange about the Count's business?"

"none. I've tasted the food nothing strange. I've also investigated all the businesses run by Count Blaire, nothing odd. I haven't had a chance to ask the clerk who works for Count Blaire. I guess they don't know anything, because they just take the Count's orders."

'What I think is wrong' Leticia's inner self.

"Then why would Countess Blaire cover up the business her husband runs?" ask Leticia to herself.

"If they run a clean business, they should accept your offer immediately" Dale replied even though the question was not directed at him.

"True, besides that they are unlikely to be able to gain very large profits in a short time. Their profits greatly outweigh the restaurant business."

"I'll try to find more information."

"Thank you, Dale."

"Don't thank me first, I still haven't got any useful information."

"For me this kind of information is quite useful."

Leticia shut down the communication between the two of them. He took the teleportation stone to the Wollard residence. Today was his first day of training with Isabella. He had already arrived in front of the Wollard residence. He hasn't been here in a long time. Wollard's residence hasn't changed at all, like he came here last time.

Isabella was waiting for him. He approached Leticia who seemed unaware of his existence.

"What do you see, Leti?"

Leticia was flinched.

"This place is the same as the last time I saw it. You built it well, Bella."

"I want to feel the state of this place the same as before. The difference is there's no Dad and no mom."

"I'm sorry, Bella."

"I said it wasn't to blame you. Let's take you to the training ground."

They arrived at the training ground. Isabella gave Leticia a sword. Leticia held her sword tightly and followed Isabella's direction. Swinging the sword from top to bottom, to the side and wielding the sword. After that they fought each other. 

After the exercise, they sat in the chair of the training ground. Leticia looks exhausted. He saw Isabella still looking fit. Leticia regulated her irregular breathing. Then tell the information Dale got to Isabella. Isabella occasionally nodded at Leticia's explanation. 

"It turns out that the Great Tower Witch Leader could also get information like this. Where did he get this information?"

"On that, I can't say it, because he said it's a secret," Leticia replied clumsyly. He could not possibly answer that Dale sought information by approaching noble women. Isabella can misunderstand that Leticia doesn't believe her. The real reason Leticia let Dale get close to Isabella was that perhaps Dale could get information regarding Grand Duke Faust. Leticia did believe in Grand Duke Faust as a co-worker, and because she saved Isabella. However, Leticia had not trusted him completely because she did not know him well. It was impossible to ask about Grand Duke Faust to Isabella directly. Their relationship may be strained by not trusting the man who saved Isabella's life.

Isabella sighed, telling her friend. "Alright, about Count Blaire could it be that all the information the Tower Witch got was wrong? Count Blaire could be very smart and not tell anyone about his new business. Restaurant business is just a diversion."

"That's a possibility. Then why didn't Countess Blaire set me up by telling me where her new restaurant business was. That way, he will get a large flow of funds. I think there's something in that restaurant that's covered up."

Isabella held her head. He thought hard, but did not find the right answer.

"So what should we do, Leti?"

"I'll try to investigate the restaurant. Grand Duke Faust and you can try to investigate the possibility of Count Blaire's original new business, Bella." 

"Well, I'll pass it on tomorrow to you."

"It's time for me to go home, take care of yourself, Bella." Leticia stand.

Isabella stood up. "You take care of yourself too, Leti. If anything happens, you can call me." 

Leticia replied to Isabella with a nod and a smile.

The next day, Leticia did not have time to investigate Blaire Heaven. He woke up late until Judith was waiting for him. Judith understood Leticia's actions because her mother was probably exhausted. Afterwards the work of the Empress awaited him. He just finished everything in the afternoon.

Suddenly the sky darkened. Leticia wants to investigate the place tomorrow. However, there was no harm in going to that place right now. At least he wanted to know where the restaurant was.

Leticia went undercover and went to the outskirts of the capital. The streets are very quiet because it is already night. No one's passing by. 

Leticia walked towards Blaire Heaven. The building that Dale had told him about. Leticia approached him, but her steps came to a halt and hid in one of the alleyways. Leticia blinked her eyes as if she could not believe what she was seeing. He made sure he was in the right place. He looked up at the sign that read Blaire Heaven, meaning he was in the right place.

There were many nobles lining up to enter the place. They all wore masks that covered the face around the eyes and showed a paper to the person standing guard at the front. Although the building looked like a restaurant, but it was impossible for nobles to willingly stand outside just to queue up the full restaurant. They must be angry because they have to wait a long time. None of them looked angry.

One of the nobles wearing a mask did not carry paper as the other nobles were forced to go home. The noble who came home looked annoyed. Leticia needs that paper to get in and a mask. He intended to take it from one of the nobles who came out from there. 

However, as soon as he looked down, his intentions disappeared. There was a noble who dropped the paper, it seemed like the noble who came home earlier. Paper depicting wine. He took it before anyone knew.

Leticia wanted to go inside, but she did not have a mask and felt tired. He moved away from there and teleported to his room. He kept the paper. Then rest while his brain keeps thinking. Blaire Heaven during the day is an ordinary restaurant. However, at night the place was running another business. Night entertainment business.
