Ch. 356 - Disguised Disguise
Xin Chen took off his sister's grip just like that. His eyes were fixed on the building in front that stood only a few meters away and was completely empty without a single guard. He walked slowly towards that place regardless of the warning Xin Zhan threw.
"Back here, the enemy will be here any minute!"
Xin Chen's path grew further and further away, he arrived at the door and saw the entire room filled with equipment and weapons.
"Listen to me, we gotta go-"
"I have to return to the headquarters after this. I can't just walk away without knowing what they're really hiding here."
Xin Zhan reflexively stepped aside from before him, he did not know whether Xin Chen's actions were dangerous or not. But in case things were not urgent like this, Xin Zhan also wanted to find out where exactly Ren Yuan was brought.

"This is just a possibility. Dad's been detained here. And they want to use mom to get me to give up those two heirlooms."
"Why ... Why did you stop them, Chen?" Ren Yuan made a small voice. If her son had let the enemy take her to Xin Fai, either there would have been a chance for her and her husband to leave the place. Ren Yuan was eager to meet him, once again.

"I don't want to risk my mother's life for that. Anyway with this we can make sure Dad's still alive." In the last words his speech was slightly stifled. His hands were tightly clenched.
"Until father returns, I will continue to pursue their footsteps. Mom, I swore to you to bring you back, didn't I?"
Ren Yuan could not say anything.
"I failed once." It was still a hint of hope in his eyes, "Now I just want to live by that oath."

Parting with Ren Yuan and Xin Zhan at the border took a very long time. They had managed to break out of the Qing Empire despite some obstacles standing in the way. Once again, Xin Zhan shifted the topic.

Arriving at Xin Chen's headquarters began to panic when he saw a long line of middle lined up in the front yard of the warrior dormitory. Ye Long did not dare to descend carelessly, it was possible that their existence was known because the flapping of his wings would attract the attention of the enemy.
