The Ball Behind the Love of the Court

The Ball Behind the Love of the Court
52. Yuri's Aid

THE POV YURI

Dusk slowly began to sink but they had not returned as well from the search. We waited anxiously for news. Prayers are offered and hope key is okay. I waited here with great worry.

"How, was Key found? " I immediately asked those who had arrived and walked towards us. But I didn't see Key walking home with them.

"No, we didn't find Key. We just found a shoe that Key was using" Dika put on a pair of shoes belonging to Key. They only found these shoes on top of the large rocks. It looks like Key was there but now he's gone.

"Om will seek help to find the key. The signal on the phone disappears, sometimes there is also no. So it was very difficult to contact Mr. Gilang" Om Roky rushed to the village to seek help. Everyone panicked because the key disappeared.

"Where are you" I cried in the arms of Aunt Maya. My heart was broken to hear that Key was missing. I hope he can be found safe.

My heart was worried and not upset. It also looks at Ari's eyes as if to speak that he is also worried about Keyla. My tears couldn't be stopped, my mind floated up because talking badly about the key kept whipping around my brain.

"It looks like Key is drifting in the river" Ari's words shattered my expectations. I knew Key couldn't swim, we all kept quiet and prayed for a miracle.

The silence of the night screamed in each other's hearts because one of our companions was still cold out there. The sound of the crickets being connected, mixed with the chaotic heart but we were just pensive to think about Key's situation out there.

A few hours later Roky and Gilang returned from the village. He said that the villagers would help to look for him tomorrow morning. If you want to be searched at this time, circumstances are not possible because of the limitations of lighting.

"You can't go anywhere, stay in and rest in the tent" All nodded at the orders of Roky.

A little relieved to hear the news that getting help from the villagers. But my heart was still troubled before the key was found. Om Roky also told us all to rest. No one can walk away from this conversation, so as not to add new problems.

We all went into our tents. I can't close my eyes, it's hard. I couldn't sleep either because my mind was filled with Key. I can't wait to feel like I'm just in a tent. Rena was asleep.

"What if Key drowns. And it's all my fault" my head wasn't quiet before Key was found.

I checked the key bag, and there I saw cell phones, flashlights, drugs and rope. I didn't see any knives he was carrying. If it was the key that wanted to harm me, then why would he carry a knife every time he left. Even he did not let the knife be in this bag. It's true that Key talked about that knife he used to protect himself. It's my fault for not believing in my best friend.

"Key I'm sorry" My mind was slashed by the guilt on the key.

I walked out of the tent secretly. Carrying a flashlight in Key's bag. This time I ventured to find my best friend. No matter what they say, the important thing is that I can find it.

I felt guilty about Key, his words were true but I ignored him and would not listen to a word. My step ventured down the river. The fear in me seemed to have disappeared.

Step by step I followed the river. As in the novels I read, usually Key will be carried away by the flow of the river. I hope he doesn't get carried away too far.

"Keyyyy,, keyyyyyy, where are you. If you wake up, yell for me to hear you" I've been looking for a few meters but I still haven't found Key. Looks like time will be in the morning. My feet were tired and rested sitting on the rocks beside the river.

"Key, where are you. Sorry I'm key, sorry. Hixss.. . . . . Hikssss" My tears dripping down my cheeks. Too many people come out because of my stupidity. This time there are only regrets and hopes and prayers that I always say. Asking the nature owner to help me find the key.

"Keyyyyyy, keyyyy, where are you" Tracing the river back non-stop. Suddenly, my eyes fell on a big tree. Looks like something's stuck in there. With minimal flashlight illumination, I saw that it was Key.

"Key, key, key wake up key" Very heavy current. On one hand I was happy to find the key. But on the other hand I was worried, because the key's body didn't move at all. I need to figure out a way to help Key.

I pulled the bushes and the deep branches into ropes and tied them together. I assembled it into a rope. No matter how many thorns from those bushes are important I can help Key.

"Ohhhh, it hurts "My murmurs are whimpering in pain.

The thorns from the bushes were so sharp that they were able to injure my hand. Now the bushes are already rope. I doubt if this rope is strong or not holding me back. I can actually swim, but the rushing current scares me about not being able to keep up. I can only hope with the rope I made from these bushes.

Looking at the big tree on the side of the river, I tied it up firmly. Also on the other side I tied it to my body. Little by little I swam towards the key.

"Key wakes up, keyy" I screamed as I swam towards him. I don't feel my tears continue to flow profusely looking at the silent key there. I thought I was floating around because of the fear of losing a friend.

I slowly approached her and hugged the body of the key to be carried to the edge. Slowly I passed through the tidal waves. I won't let go like a key holding me who wants to fall into the abyss of that time.

"Key let's get up, hikssss....... Hiksc..... " We got to the edge. I tried hard to pull the key body slowly. Using the jacket that I wear as a base so that the key's body is not scratched.

"Keyyy....... " My screams were mixed with crying. I checked his heart rate and thank God it's still beating. Perform first aid to remove water from the body of the key.

I repeatedly did it but there was no result. stomp for the sake of pounding on his stomach to make it easier for water to come out.

"Uhukkkp.... Uhukkkk" The right pressure can drain the incoming water from the body of the key. I wrapped his body in a jacket and used my shoes to protect his feet.

"Alhamdulillah, key let's get up" My lips kept waking the key but he still hasn't opened his eyes. There's no point in me crying here. I had to act so that key could be saved.

The dawn is coming from the eastern horizon. Morning received a message from my broken heart. I hope the villagers go down this river soon to find us.

"Key, wait here" I dried my jacket and reused it for the key. So is the key shirt, I squeeze little by little so that the water is reduced. Collecting tree branches to make fire so that the key does not get cold.

"Please....., please........., please............... As loud as I scream, no one seems to hear. Because this was already too far from the point of the waterfall at the campground.

"Thank God, the sun is rising. We'll sunbathe to reduce the water key" I pulled the key's body to be right under the morning light. Warming the body that is cold because of the river water.

I can't bear to see the key, from where his body doesn't move. It seemed like he was cold and needed more warmth. I hugged her to give her warmth, but I don't know if this works or not. The most important thing is that the key is not cold.

"Please...... Whoever's there help us. We're both here, please....... " My voice bounces into the air. Wish the birds also delivered a message to the people.

"Yuri"

"Keyy" Shouts of Dika and Ari's legs cheered up my lost smile. Now I have the spirit to let Key regain consciousness.

"Please brother, help Ari, I'm here. Please here below" I wave with glee. Finally they all along with the villagers found us.

"That's there, let's get there quickly" The villagers immediately rushed towards the two of us. They carried Key on a makeshift stretcher with a sheath and strong woods.

"Please, please save the key" My body is already limp and there is no energy to walk. Kak Dika immediately carried me, while Ari and om Roky followed the villagers to bring Key to the puskesmas place in the village.

They pass through a shortcut to get to the puskesmas. Arriving there, the doctor in charge of handling Key directly. Putting an infusion and oxygen hose on his body that was limp. I was also lying limp on the bed next to Key. An infusion needle was also given to my hand, as my body was weak at the moment.

"Key, wakeup. I'm beside you key. Let's get up key.... Hikssss hikssss" These tears keep falling back to see my best friend who still hasn't opened his eyes.

"Key, Yuri" Aunt Maya walked in with an anxious and worried look. He's headed straight for me.

"Tante, Key hasn't woken up hikssss.... Hikssss" Tangisku again broke in the arms of aunt Maya. Everyone is still waiting for news from the doctor who checked the key.

"Patience, key is fine. You have to encourage Key to wake up" Aunt Maya continues to give positive energy so that I do not cry and continue to encourage Key to wake up.

"Dok how is he? " Om Roky tried to talk to the doctor about Key's condition.

"It was fortunate that the incoming water was not too much, at the moment his body was very weak. It might take him a few hours to regain consciousness" the doctor tried to explain everything. We waited anxiously in the treatment room.

My face continued to stare at Key who was asleep beside me. This time I'm so sorry, and everything that happened to Key was what I did. It's all my fault, if I don't fall into the abyss the key won't be blamed and won't happen like this.

YURI POV FINISHED

"this is where" I opened my eyes and a place that was foreign to me.

" Key, you've woken up "Ari comes up to me and yells happily.

"Name, papa, key is up" Aunt Maya, om Roky, Rena and brother Dika approached me.

"Before a minute, call the doctor first" Om Roky rushed to call the doctor

"You up, son? " Tanya aunty Maya, while my head is still dizzy to talk a lot.

"This is where auntie? " You're again at the nearest puskesmas. My head feels so dizzy. The gaze is still vague

"Thank God you're awake, I'd be worried because you're unconscious" Dika approached me. His face was so anxious when he looked at me. Did I sleep too long until they were all worried about my situation.

I don't know how long I slept. All I remember was the water that pounced on my body fiercely. A huge wave swept across this body that could not swim. I am still thankful that God gave me a chance to breathe fresh air.

"I'll take a look" the doctor came and checked me out. The doctor said my condition was stable, and later in the afternoon I could go straight home. Everyone in the room was very happy.

"Where Yuri" Tanayku broke the atmosphere. Daritadi is only Yuri who is not here. I think Yuri is still angry with me, so she doesn't want to see me.

*Krekkkkkk, krekkk*Ari opens the curtain next door. Apparently Yuri was sleeping there.

"Well why, doctor help my friend why?" I was very anxious to see Yuri's state of unconsciousness as well. Then the doctor explained that Yuri was only resting because of the negligence when helping me out of the river.

"Yuri, Yuri woke up" Although my head was dizzy, my voice did not stop calling Yuri's name to wake her up I wanted to make sure that Yuri was okay. But she was still asleep and I had to be quiet so that Yuri could rest with more.
