Pura-Pura Jodoh
Story's Dad

A bird's chirp split the silence this morning. Cold air tried to penetrate the heart, cradling the figure of the girl hiding under the blanket. Lula's eyes felt so sticky, she had only slept a few hours ago. In fact, at two o'clock in the morning, his ears were still able to hear the clock.

"Did he call me?" Lula was furthest from her sleeping position, her hands wailing, trying to find the whereabouts of her phone.

Lula's lips smiled wryly, when he did not get any notification on the screen. "Quiet, Lula! everything's gonna be okay! Aunty Priscilla is back in Jakarta. You just go, BERES! grandpa knows that too!" muttered Lula, strengthening yourself.

Lula did not want to drown in grief. Do what too? he did not harbor any feelings for Frans, should everything be fine after all this is over? thought Lula.

As if gaining strength, Lula uncovers her blanket, walking unsteadily towards the bathroom. She has to go to school, today she doesn't want to be late, she has to be a nice girl that both her parents can be proud of.

When she was ready, Lula walked down the stairs. The peacock motif uniform, typical of his school identity has wrapped his body. Lula's gaze was fixed towards the grandfather who was already sitting at the dining table.

“What a shame my grandson has this one? Why else, hurt?” Grandpa Ken landed the back of his hand on Lula's forehead. He knew that when Lula had a fever, it was the most precarious condition, and he had to be vigilant.

“Neg, Cake. Just a little sleep!” Lula said.

"You ditching?"

Lula shook her head not wanting to miss her youth. He was determined to make both his parents proud.

Grandpa Ken smiled meaningfully. It seemed like he was starting to be convinced by Lula's current feelings. “Newly also left for a day! I miss it!" brother Ken's lips."What happens if you get divorced?!"

Lula landed her bo-kong in one of the chairs. Waiting for Mbok Ratih to get him breakfast. While waiting ready, Lula grabs the phone in her pocket, sees the screen notification, who knows Frans contacted her. Unfortunately, there was nothing he found on the screen.

Actually, all this time, Lula's phone has always been quiet. The most often he contacted was none other than Zola, father, Mother anyway still the scope of the Ramones family.

Lula opens the story of the contacts stored on her phone. Who knows her husband made status about his current existence. However, again Lula could only remain silent without a word after finding nothing.

Lula was still focused on staring at the screen of her phone, with her fingers moving so fast. Until the movement of his finger stopped when he saw the story' of the father.

“Daddy hurts huh, Cake?!” asked Lula, making Grandpa Ken confused because there was no news from Rainer.

“No news from your father!”

Lula's feeling was starting to get uncomfortable. Rather than curious Lula immediately called the man.it took several times until the man across there answered his call.

“Dad? Who is sick?” ask Lula without further ado first. With no answer, Lula let out a disappointed sigh as the man spoke to a woman across the line. “Dad!” call Lula a little rough.

“Hm?”

“Who is sick?”lula asked for an answer.

“Delay. But now he's all right, just a little tired. You are calm, I can handle it.” Rainer's voice sounded soft.

Lula glanced at Grandfather, the man looked so curious about whatever information Rainer was currently conveying.

“Since when?”

“May I don't tell Lula what she experienced yesterday!" Lula did not accept the attitude of her father... "Is this possible called an inner bond? Lula can't sleep because of anxiety!” though Lula knew clearly if she thought of her husband, she could usually look for such an excuse.

“Not bad, so no papa, you take it easy!” the man across tried to calm down.

“It just so happens that today Lula is not in school. After this Lula is going to the hospital.”

Grandfather Ken who witnessed Lula's attitude was only able to hold back a laugh. His grandson could have behaved that way. Just been told to skip don't want! thought.

The family, who never demanded much from Lula, just kept quiet when they found out that the girl often skipped school. They did not want Lula depressed let alone sick because of thinking about lessons.

After the call was interrupted, Lula explained to Grandpa about Zahira's condition. The man panicked, as if he was going to jump up and meet his daughter straight away.

“Breakfast first, Cake! Dad said that mom was okay, okay! Not so bad.” Clearly trying to calm Grandpa Ken's unkind attitude enjoying his breakfast. “Don't worry too much! There is a father next to the mother who can be relied upon.”

Lula was enjoying breakfast in a hurry, she had to change clothes especially. Can be arrested by security guards if you go to the hospital wearing a uniform during school hours.

When Lula got back down, he saw that his grandfather was already in the car. It seemed, the man was in great shock hearing his daughter was sick, even more than when he knew the marriage relationship of Lula and Frans was just a mere faux.

On the way to the hospital, Ken's grandfather looks agitated. His feet kept moving, as if he wanted to run to the hospital immediately. He should have been more patient than this.

“Grandfather calm. Grandpa's panic can rub off on me, if you say you're okay, it means you're okay! trust your father!”

“How can grandfather trust your father!” reply Grandpa Ken without looking at Lula.

Grandpa Ken is a little upset with dad. In recent years, Ken's grandfather has asked his father to take care of the company to replace him. But Rainer's father didn't want it because he felt it wasn't his passion. Rainer's father prefers to plunge in the world of health, which is actually the advice of doctor Ipam, Zahira's stepfather.

As soon as the car driving them stopped in front of the hospital door, the man walked quickly into the building. No matter the greetings of some known people.

“Where's room?” Lula asked as she looked at someone familiar. The middle-aged lung woman immediately mentioned where Zahira's room was being treated. Lula who saw the Grandfather was on the wrong track, quickly ran, pulled the man's arm to change the direction of his steps.

“Grandpa!” Lula shook her head, stress itself saw the attitude of her grandfather. Lula understands that Zahira is his only daughter. But, Lula felt that Grandfather did not need to think about such a heavy thing, fearing that his heart would have a problem. “Follow Lula!” his word, lead grandfather Ken to the room occupied by the mother.

Arriving at the door of the room, Lula pushed the door. The two people who were inside the room immediately turned their heads towards the two of them. And it's true said Rainer's father, mother Zahira looks fine, can even smile when he saw the arrival of the two of them. Only his face looked a little pale.

Grandpa Ken, come closer. Rainer's understanding father retreated slightly, allowing his possessive father-in-law to hold his daughter.

Seeing the father still standing next to Ken's grandfather. Lula pulls the father's arm, intending to hold the man on the sofa.

“What pain delay, Yah?” whispered Lula, curious about what happened to Zahira at this time.

“Have dad said mommy's okay. Why are you recalcitrant, come here, still also ask what pain?”

Lula still couldn't believe it. He demanded an answer from his father. “Abspire, Dad! Or I ask the doctor.” Lula approached, looking at the signboard about the patient's name, and the doctor who handled it. After finding out who was monitoring Zahira's health development, Lula turned to Rainer. His view demands explanation.
