Eleven o'clock in the night, Frans wakes up in front of Lula's room. Walking back and forth, thinking about Lula's current state, his condition was not fine. Perhaps, the effects of fatigue after following the funeral process Sofya.
An hour ago the girl's body temperature was still at 38 degrees Celsius. And at this moment, he had not yet double-checked. The girl's body was barely swallowed and it wasn't good for her heart health. Which began to beat erratically when it was close to Lula.
A loud voice from inside the room disturbed Frans' mind. He immediately stepped into Lula's room. Without caring anymore about the passion that could be provoked by seeing Lula.
The sound of Lula spewing liquid made Frans quickly approach the bathroom. Arriving there, he could not bear to see Lula crouching in front of the closet while removing her entrails.
Frans crouched down, helping Lula justify her hair covering part of her face. Frans one hand held onto Lula's hair, another helped rub her nape. “We go to the hospital, yes?” fresh Frans, do not have the heart to see the condition of Lula who has been limp.
Lula shook her head, rejecting her husband's offer. He stood up, propping up his body with Frans's arms, walked towards the sink, washed his mouth.
“You can run out of fluids if you are rich in gini. You must be exhausted.” Frank never took care of the sick. It's prime for her, every time Priscilla's sick, she always hands it over to the nurse. And now, he was quite confused when faced with Lula's condition like this.
“Lula wants dad ..” watered down Lula in the rest of her energy. Only Rainer's father can be trusted when his body is weak like this. Lula's strange behavior will appear when his body temperature reaches 39 degrees. So before that happens, he has to present the father. All this time, only my father and mother knew how to handle it.
“Dad Rainer at home. Same with Daddy, huh?” persuade Frans, it is impossible to contact Rainer at midnight like this, which there is a man who will scold him all out.
Lula says Frans tried to lead her back to bed. He leaned back on the head of the bed.
“Daddy make warm drink first, you rest!” order Frans before leaving Lula's room.
His mind was constantly blaming itself. Should have known Lula wasn't feeling well she wouldn't have allowed the girl to attend the funeral. But, again he was negligent in looking after Lula.
He himself was troubled. Waiting for the water to cook. Frans thought back to Lula's question which she refused to answer. "Pity him if he's ever by my side!" Frans smiled in anguish. Then refocus in the direction of the boiling hot water.
Nearly fifteen minutes later, finally a cup of warm tea was ready to be enjoyed. Frans immediately returned to the room, hoping Lula was still awake.
But what happened, when his feet stepped into the room. Lula wasn't in bed. Frans placed the tea on the table, walked to the bathroom to check on his wife again. Unfortunately, he also never saw Lula.
“Lula!” frans exclaimed, looking again, making sure that Lula had not left the room. “Lula, where are you?” reset Frans. “Teh is done, let's drink first! You can get dehydrated!”
Frans tried to muffle the sound of his footsteps when he heard a faint sobbing sound. He tried to find the source of the sound, until his steps stopped beside the bed that had been occupied by Lula. His hand tried to open the tassel of sheets that dangled. To his surprise, he finds Lula hiding under the bed.
"Lula, what's there?!" ask Frans a little emotion. He was not at all exhausted by Lula's attitude which was just like a child, playing hide and seek, even though he was feverish.
“A—ayah ... A—ya—yah! No, don't want to! Lula won't go! Lula just wants to be here! Lula scared, Daddy!” Lula refuses as Frans' hand grabs her.
"Daddy?" lula asked, still reluctant to move from her position. “Fear, Lula is afraid, near the window there are monsters!” lula said, getting cowering under the bed. It was clear that the girl was frightened.
Frans' gaze turned to stare at the tightly shut window. There was nothing but an ash-colored curtain cloth dangling from touching the floor.
“Lula, there's Daddy here! Nothing near the window!” persuade Frans, his legs began to ache, because too long crouched to reach Lula's hand.
“Daddy?” lula asked, her face looking confused.
“Yes, this is Daddy. Daddy is here!” obviously Frans, a little soft, wanted to seduce Lula to come out.
“Is there Aunt Cecil, too?” lula's originally frightened face, turned anxious, she was trying to find Priscilla's whereabouts. Lula cried again, getting broken. “No, Lula doesn't want to!” Lula refused Frans's invitation to pull her out. "Lula wants to hide! don't!"
“Lula your fever is getting higher if you don't come out. On the cold floor!” wheedle Frans.
Lula was crying, her hands trying hard to take off her husband's hands. Frans relented, deciding to contact Rainer. Just a few steps away from Lula, she heard the girl's reflection.
“Don't Auntie, don't! Lula was afraid, Lula did not want to go up. Lula promise, Lula isn't naughty anymore! Get down Lula, Lula wants to go home!" Lula sobbed as she called out Rainer's name. "Dad ... Father .. Lula wants to go home, Lula is scared, it's cold here, dad, dad, dad, Auntie .. please Auntie! Lula wants to go home! Lula promise, Lula promise not naughty, bukain Aunt!” lula said in between her sobs.
Frans was getting messed up by the noise coming out of Lula's lips. He did not understand what Lula was going through at the moment. He is getting more determined to contact Rainer, because honestly he is not able to handle Lula's current condition.
“Hallo, Rain! Sorry for interrupting her break!" Frans closed his eyes, waiting for the man opposite the call to respond.
"What's up?!"
“Lula body temperature is getting higher. Dan—I can't handle it. Can you come home?”
There was no answer from across the call. The call was immediately interrupted after Frans said his point. I hope Rainer will come soon.
Frans decided to go back to Lula's room. Arriving at the room, the girl was still hiding under the bed. His lips still gave off a conjecture.
“Daddy good, Aunt. He's Lula's Daddy! Auntie don't be mad at Lula! Don't stay in Lula, it's dark in here cold Auntie. Lula wants to go home! Lula wants to see dad, Lula is scared!”
Frans is increasingly convinced that Lula like this must have been the cause. “What does this have to do with the events of that night? What did Priscilla do to Lula?” various questions arose, Frans could not bear to immediately find the answer. He had to go to Priscilla, ask the woman for an explanation. "Did Rainer know too?"
"Yes, he must know." Frans continued to monologue, until the sound of a car engine stopped in front of the house he immediately went to open the main door of his house.
