Ch 57's. The function of the Advent Tower
Ancient ruins
Everyone slowly went inside. There were also dozens of people who did not come inside because they felt doubtful.
They were all just waiting for what would happen to everyone who went inside. Ren Yuu had already sensed them go inside and had already reached the second floor. Ren Yuu arranged like they were going to take the exam and locked the second floor of the tower so that no one could come out.
"I will also enter," Lan Xiuro excitedly and immediately went to move and stopped Ren Yuu even though Ren Yuu was somewhat still annoyed with Lan Xiuro.
"What's wrong?" Lan Xiuro asked in surprise because Ren Yuu stopped him again.
Some of Lan Xiuro's subordinates were also astonished that Ren Yuu stopped them from entering.
"There are a lot of traps inside. And the person who entered had only a 1% chance of survival," Ren Yuu whispered softly which only Lan Xiuro's squad heard.
Lan Xiuro was confused and pouted suddenly. "Didn't you want me to get a good item from the inside?"
Ren Yuu was speechless hearing Lan Xiuro's question. Ren Yuu sighed and simply shook his head in being too lazy to explain.
"All right, that's up to you. I've warned you not to enter because I've been inside before," Ren Yuu instantly turned around and went towards the exit of the ancient ruins. Because, when Ren Yuu moved away, Ren Yuu would take the Advent Tower and keep everyone inside.
Ren Yuu had already seen that some of them were from the Zhang clan, the Heavenly Court sect and the Sword Heaven sect.
Ren Yuu will kill all of them and especially Gong Da'i. Ren Yuu planned to torture Gong Da'i to the point of asking for mercy to spare his life.
Seeing Ren Yuu leaving, Lan Xiuro was stunned and immediately chased after her because Lan Xiuro liked Ren Yuu so much.
"Wait for Yuu Shaw!! Where are you going?" Lan Xiuro immediately chased after Ren Yuu and wanted to come with her.
Yang Sun and Yuan Ni also directly went after Lan Xiuro. All the Frozen Sect disciples pondered for a moment and entered the Advent Tower feeling that Ren Yuu was just lying.
"What's Xiuro?" Ren Yuu asked a bit of a frown as Lan Xiuro continued to chase after her.
"I want to come with you," Lan Xiuro said a little shyly and looked at Ren Yuu's handsome face. Lan Xiuro was getting more and more fascinated to see her. Lan Xiuro had no idea why Ren Yuu was so interested in him. The scent of Ren Yuu's body made him excited and wanted to continue clinging to her.
"What are you coming for?" Ren Yuu asked in a dissatisfied tone because he knew Lan Xiuro was a big troublemaker since the incident with Gong Da'i.
Lan Xiuro heard it scowl and held Ren Yuu again while saying as sweetly as possible, "sorry okay? I know you're still mad about that a week ago, I didn't do that on purpose."
Lan Xiuro put on a spoiled puppy's eyes and wished for Ren Yuu to burst straight away as all men would usually melt if she were to weld.
Yang Sun and Yuan Ni just kept quiet and felt a little embarrassed seeing Lan Xiuro's behavior.
"Next time don't be like that. And, you better go together. I will go alone," Ren Yuu immediately said and did not want to waste time and left before the three of them.
Lan Xiuro was annoyed to hear it and directly jumped towards Ren Yuu's back.
"What are you doing?" Ren Yuu asked unhappily as Lan Xiuro was carelessly climbing onto his back.
"I'm coming with you!!" Lan Xiuro replied in anger suddenly.
"Why are you so eager to come with me?" Ren Yuu asked again with a tired face.
Lan Xiuro was timid again and asked back, "isn't I your lover?"
Yang Sun and Yuan Ni were astonished to hear it and cussed at Lan Xiuro for simply making them ashamed.
"I already have a wife," Ren Yuu said flatly and left Lan Xiuro stunned in an instant.
"You must be lying," Lan Xiuro descended from Ren Yuu's back and pointed at Ren Yuu's face and looked at Ren Yuu with a savage face.
"Why did I lie to you?" Ren Yuu asked softly and immediately turned around to leave Lan Xiuro again because he was tired of serving unreasonable women.
Lan Xiuro froze on the spot hearing that and knew that Ren Yuu was not joking at all.
Lan Xiuro was angry to hear her and immediately chased after Ren Yuu again while shouting, "you are only mine and there is no one else!!"
But unfortunately Ren Yuu was already not too interested anymore because he already had Xing Jianying now.
"No way, I'm not yours," Ren Yuu directly refuted Lan Xiuro's words and continued moving.
The two of them were arguing along the way. Now Ren Yuu knew that Lan Xiuro was even more stubborn than Xing Jianying.
Yang Sun and Yuan Ni only listened to their arguments that would not end. When more than 5 left the area of the Advent Tower, Ren Yuu paused for a bit then took out a projection of the Miniature Advent Tower.
Ren Yuu did not mind showing this in front of the three of them because Ren Yuu knew they were good people, only that Lan Xiuro might be a bucket someday.
"Whatis that? Isn't that exactly what the Tower was before?" Lan Xiuro asked in a surprised tone looking at the miniature of the Advent Tower.
"Hehehehe!! Of course," Ren Yuu replied with a faint smile.
Yang Sun was confused by the miniature of the Advent Tower and did not think far. While Yuan Ni understood and trembled all over his body.
"An Artifact!!" Yuan Ni exclaimed as she widened her eyes.
"What?" Yang Sun suddenly shouted out loudly.
While Lan Xiuro was stunned because it turned out that the Advent Tower was an Artifact.
"Hehehehe!! That was why it was impossible for them to get any more rewards from the Advent Tower," Ren Yuu smirked in satisfaction for successfully imprisoning everyone inside.
"Hide this from others. If someone knows this, I'll be hunted by someone else. I believe in the three of you that's why I'm showing you this Artifact" Ren Yuu said in a serious tone.
Lan Xiuro immediately nodded seriously and looked at Yang Sun and Yuan Ni as if the two of them were people who liked to divulge secrets.
Yang Sun and Yuan Ni did not know what to say because they were stared at with death by Lan Xiuro.
"Just relax, I can't possibly say this to someone else who made my lover suffer," Lan Xiuro shamelessly claimed Ren Yuu again and felt proud of himself as if Ren Yuu belonged to only one.
Ren Yuu's face twitched as he did not know how to respond to Lan Xiuro. Whatever he said, Lan Xiuro would not budge at all and continued to say that he was her lover.
Ren Yuu only sighed then focused his senses onto the miniature Advent Tower. The Adven Tower in the distance slowly shrank instantly and shot towards Ren Yuu.
Some of the people waiting outside were shocked because the Advent Tower suddenly disappeared and were afraid that they would survive death because they did not go inside.
The Advent Tower arrived in front of Ren Yuu in the shape of a meter. Ren Yuu knew what the function of the Advent Tower was. The Advent Tower is used as a prison for living beings and souls as well.
Ren Yuu made the Advent Tower float in his hands. The Advent Tower is deeply connected to the soul of its owner. Ren Yuu could destroy the Advent Tower if he wanted to though his soul would suffer a little.
If Ren Yuu could realize the soul of the Patriarch of the Song clan inside, Ren Yuu would have profited because the Patriarch of the Song clan still kept some good items on him.
The weakness of the Advent Tower is that the Advent Tower cannot attack or defend. And when in use, the user must make the Advent Tower enlarge first and it is very easy for someone to attack it.
"I didn't expect that the random Tower here was an Artifact. So, what's the use of this artifact?" Yuan Ni asked curiously.
"It can only be used to trap an opponent and imprison him inside like I did before. Everyone is now inside this Tower and will not be able to get out if it does not have enough power to destroy the Tower" Ren Yuu replied softly.
Ren Yuu recalled that Patriarch of the Song clan said his Dimensional Life Artifacts were higher in terms of grade than the Advent Tower. Now Ren Yuu understood that just by looking at the function and weakness of the Advent Tower.
"Although it couldn't attack, it was still great," Lan Xiuro was excited and hugged Ren Yuu again tighter and instantly kissed Ren Yuu again and this time it was hotter than before.
Yang Sun and Yuan Ni simply turned their faces away from seeing it.
Ren Yuu did not know whether to laugh or cry and tried to break away and pushed Lan Xiuro gently.
"Can you not do that all of a sudden?" Ren Yuu asked in a sad tone as she already considered herself having an affair with another woman.
Ren Yuu sighed and apologized inwardly to Xing Jianying.
