Ch 108's. The Past: Farewell
Old man Yi made the decision to take Cai'Zi as his disciple.
"Well, you'll ask him. We never forbid them to choose the path they want to take. But I don't want you to force it. You know how old I am, even if I'm paralyzed, I'm not afraid of you." Ren Douzi took out his Killing Intent.
"I'm not going to force it. I have great respect for your father because we are old acquaintances," old man Yi said casually.
Then Feng Xuer brought Cai'Zi back to see old man Yi.
"Do you want to come with me?" Old man Yi asked Cai'Zi.
Cai'Zi was nervous and saw his father and mother who remained silent.
"I don't want to part with big brother" Cai'Zi bluntly said.
Ren Douzi and Feng Xuer already knew this was going to happen and old man Yi had also prepared some sneaky words.
"You said earlier you'd come if your mom and dad didn't mind when I saved your brother. And I'll tell you a fact. If you come, one day you'll be able to protect your father, mother and brother."
Cai'Zi's eyes widened instantly and looked at his father and mother. "Didn't he lie to you, mother?"
Feng Xuer stroked Cai'Zi's head and said, "yes, if you come along, you will become strong and able to protect your brother." Feng Xuer of course understood this because this was a great opportunity for Cai'Zi as well.
There Cai'Zi would get special treatment for being a disciple of the Heavenly Palace's Great Elder. Nobody's worried about Cai'Zi's safety.
"Can't you come with me?" Cai'Zi asked and began to shed her tears.
Ren Douzi thought hard whether it was necessary to send Ren Yuu to the Heavenly Palace as well or not.
Feng Xuer also thought about it but refused because they did not want to force Ren Yuu to live a life as a cultivator.

"really? What if you disagree?" Cai'Zi asked out of fear that Ren Yuu would be angry at him.
The three of them were stunned for not thinking in that direction. Old man Yi felt a headache now.
"Do I have to bring Ren Douzi's son to the Heavenly Palace as well?" Inner old man Yi.
Then old man Yi got the idea and it's worth a try. "I'll lock your brother's memory in for a while. If you meet, you can make him remember you."
Cai'Zi was surprised to hear it and felt strange for a moment. But, after watching old man Yi soar through the air and bring them in an instant close to home, Cai'Zi felt it was possible.
"Is that okay mom?" Cai'Zi asked as he looked towards Feng Xuer who was still silent.
"Yes, if you don't want your brother to be lonely, you can do that. When you meet, your brother will recognize you immediately only if you unlock the memory of you." Said Feng Xuer while stroking Cai'Zi's head.
Cai'Zi clenched his hands tightly and asked again, "you won't make brother forget me forever won't you?"
"No," replied old man Yi as he felt it was unnecessary.
"good. I'm going to come along. I want to protect big brother one day," Cai'Zi made up his mind because of the previous incident.
Old man Yi smiled and said, "well, let's start the process of creating the memory seal."
Ren Douzi and Feng Xuer just kept quiet and brought old man Yi to Ren Yuu's room.
Old man Yi instantly made a technique to seal Ren Yuu's memories of Cai'Zi. After finishing, old man Yi looked towards Cai'Zi and asked, "what do you want as a key to unlock your brother's memories?"
Cai'Zi immediately grabbed her necklace and took off Ren Yuu's necklace and handed it to old man Yi.
Old man Yi simply nodded then strengthened the necklace slightly so as not to rot from being exposed to the profound energy and put the final seal on the necklace. When Ren Yuu saw the necklace, Ren Yuu's memory of Cai'Zi would open automatically.
When it was done, old man Yi gave the necklace to Cai'Zi again and Cai'Zi immediately put it on because the necklace was very important to him.
"So, when are we going?" Ask old Yi.
"I want to be with you tonight, tomorrow I'll be with you." Cai'Zi directly moved next to Ren Yuu then hugged her tightly.
No one protested about that and left Cai'Zi with Ren Yuu.
"Sister, forgive little Zi okay? But little Zi would visit big brother when the time came," Cai'Zi shed tears constantly at being reluctant to part with her brother even though Cai'Zi wanted to be strong in order to protect her.
In the front room.
"Do you not want your son to cultivate?" Ask old Yi.
Ren Douzi and Feng Xuer sighed and Ren Douzi simply said, "i don't want my son to enter into a cruel world that could take his life at any moment."
Old man Yi just kept quiet and said, "well it's up to you. I'll come tomorrow morning."
Old man Yi disappeared in an instant leaving Ren Douzi and Feng Xuer who were just silent.
"We'll see when Yuu'er is over 12 years old and see if he wants to cultivate or not." Ren Douzi walked towards the room and followed Feng Xuer who just nodded.
The next day old man Yi came to pick up Cai'Zi. Cai'Zi cried hugging Ren Yuu who was still unconscious because maybe two or three days later Ren Yuu realized.
Then Cai'Zi also hugged his father and mother.
"Train with Cai'Zi. In order that one day you might be able to protect your brother," Feng Xuer hugged Cai'Zi tightly because he loved her very much as well.
"Good ma'am," Cai'Zi sobbed and felt reluctant to part with his family. But Cai'Zi wants to be strong because he wants to protect his brother.
The reason Ren Douzi and Feng Xuer allowed Cai'Zi to leave was because they knew sooner or later they would be hunted. With Cai'Zi as the Heavenly Palace's Great Elder disciple, Cai'Zi would be safe and Cai'Zi could protect Ren Yuu if Ren Yuu did not want to cultivate when he reached the age of 12-13.
The age of cultivation is usually starting at 10 years and more at the age of 11-12 years. Before that, they would make a foundation at a young age so that their cultivation speed was very good when starting out. That was why Ren Douzi and Feng Xuer had yet to say about cultivation to Ren Yuu.
Then old man Yi brought Cai'Zi who was crying hard for parting with his family.
