Ch 2's. Starting cultivation

The temple

Ren Yuu who had already felt the pain subsided was shocked.

Suddenly a strange memory formed in Ren Yuu's head. The memory was inscribed about a cultivation manual called 'God Body Technique' as well as 'Devour Technique.'

The God Body Technique has five layers. Each layer is divided into lower, middle and upper layers.

While the Devour Technique there was only one. It is used to absorb energy more quickly but has its drawbacks that is, absorption has its limitations. Devour Technique was used to help speed up the God Body Technique manual.

Inside that memory was a lot of information like an ancient language that Ren Yuu had never heard of. There was also about the stages of cultivation and all the ways of breaking through each stage.

The stages in dividing into 2 are Mortal and Divine.

Mortal was divided into 9 Tier. Each Tier has 9 stages, namely:

the Qi Gathering 1-9

the Qi Foundation 1-9

- East 1-9

xiantian 1-9

the Core Formation 1-9

the - Gold Core 1-9

the Nascent Soul 1-9

- Accension 1-9

immortal Ascension 1-9

But there was no data on the Divine Tier from the memories instilled in Ren Yuu's head.

Ren Yuu was confused by all this. He was on alert when the temple collapsed.

Ren Yuu ran from the old temple towards the exit. When he arrived outside, he was confused like a fool. He was looking for a way out of the strange place he had entered.

Suddenly the room seemed to be swallowed by a strange vortex. Ren Yuu was also sucked into the strange market and he arrived at a sizable park surrounded by white mist around him. As far as the eye can see, there is only fog. There were a lot of strange plants in that little garden. And to the north of the park there is a pond as big as half a square kilometer.

"Where is this?" Ren Yuu was curious while looking towards the middle of the garden.

In the middle of the garden was a small hut made of bamboo. Ren Yuu slowly walked towards the bamboo hut and felt very alert, because many strange things were experienced by him in just a short time.

Ren Yuu arrived at the bamboo hut then slowly opened the door with a feeling of anxiety.

Door opens. Ren Yuu looked around and there were only a lot of books in them neatly arranged on a large shelf and a small bed.

Next to the bed was a slightly old wooden table. On the table was an animal skin that appeared to have an inscription on it.

Ren Yuu slowly approached and looked at the note. He felt strange about his language.

Ren Yuu recalled every single thing in his new memory. He began to process the language he had in his memory.

After roughly 15 minutes, Ren Yuu looked back at the paper and slowly read it, "whatever you read this message of mine, I only asked for one thing. Don't be so thirsty for power, power makes you blind and will result in greed leading you to your death. Use wisely everything I left in this place, and you don't need to know who I am. Someday we might meet somewhere else."

Yuu felt astonished by those words and did not know how to react. Then he began to pick up a book and look at its contents.

All is a list of strange plants and their functions. Ren Yuu recalled the manual of the God Body Technique. "What is the function of the manual? Become a god's body? It's weird that god really exists." Ren Yuu simply shook his head then walked out of the cottage leaving the book also inside.

"Then, how do I get out of this place?"

Ren Yuu sighed because he did not know what else to do. He came towards the small lake and sat down by the lake contemplating how to get out of the strange park.

"Am I gonna be stuck here forever?" Ren Yuu asked himself while looking towards the beautiful little lake.

Time passed and it was more than a day. Ren Yuu felt hungry because he had not eaten anything. Not knowing what to do, he tried to remember the manual in his head.

Then Ren Yuu sat down cross-legged, he tried out all the clues from the manual. After half an hour, he felt something warm flowing around his stomach.

A sound like broken glass rang out in his head. Ren Yuu suddenly coughed and spat out black blood.

"What the hell is this? Do I have a disease?" Ren Yuu was somewhat frightened by the black blood coming out of his body by the manual used by him that was in his head.

"Quiet down! Relax!" Ren Yuu calmed herself down and tried to recall something in her new memory.

"Qi Gathering the first stage."

"Is every stage real? Can one reach a god?" Inner Ren Yuu. He still could not believe all those memories.

Then Ren Yuu tried to cultivate the God Body Technique manual continuously for three hours. The sound of broken glass rang out again in his head.

"Qi Gathering the second stage." Ren Yuu was astonished then opened his eyes because there was a pungent smell from his body.

Ren Yuu looked at his body. He vomited suddenly as an extremely smelly black liquid stuck all over his body. He jumped into the lake to wash away his smelly body.

Ren Yuu slowly walked out of the lake as his body was already clean. He sighed and said with an annoyed face, "what is the purpose of all that? Cihhh... I just want to get out of this place!"

Ren Yuu sat down again. Because he did not know what to do, he only processed the manual continuously until he forgot the time.

Then Ren Yuu woke up again from boredom. He cleansed his stinky body even though it wasn't as smelly as before.

"Wait on! 4 days? I haven't eaten for 4 days? But ... Why am I not hungry?" Ren Yuu was surprised and felt strange then remembered something. He ran towards the bamboo hut.

Ren Yuu went inside and tried to read all the books inside. He did not know why the books in the bamboo hut were so important.

Ren Yuu read books related to cultivation quickly. It took him a day to finish it.

Ren Yuu sighed and smiled after reading the old book on cultivation. "It looks like I got a jacpot," Ren Yuu said softly and understood what cultivation was roughly.

Ren Yuu checked the other books. A lot about monster beasts, various races and parts of them. He was not too interested and put it aside.

Ren Yuu returned to the edge of the lake then sat down cross-legged and turned the God Body Technique manual again continuously without stopping.

Then Ren Yuu could not break through to the next stage. "Cihhh, I've been here more than two weeks, what should I do?" Ren Yuu then sorted through all his memories again. Ren Yuu's face turned dark and unsightly.

Ren Yuu concentrated and suddenly the scene changed completely back to his room.

"Why am I so stupid?" The Swing of Ren Yuu.

"Do I have to pursue divinity?"

Since he still did not believe it completely, Ren Yuu had only forgotten about it for now. He changed his clothes to a new one and went out looking for a job.

Ren Yuu looked out from the window. He saw it was still day. Ren Yuu immediately changed clothes and wanted to find a job in order to meet her daily needs.

When Ren Yuu was about to get out of the house, he glanced at himself in the mirror and stopped. He glanced at the mirror and was surprised by its appearance.

"Who?" Ren Yuu shouted while holding his own face, the person in the mirror also moved. He was surprised to see his own face in the mirror because it was so different from his previous face.

"How could my face change so much in just two weeks?" Inner Ren Yuu was still in disbelief with her face that looked cleaner than before.

Ren Yuu's face was now much cleaner and more handsome than before. Previously, he could be categorized as above average. But now, he could be categorized as a handsome young man. His body also looks a little more contained than before.

Not knowing how to react and why her face was like that, Ren Yuu ignored her and went out of the house to find work. Because it's something more important than its different appearance now.

Ren Yuu walked out of the house and locked the door. After which, he thought for a moment then went to the center of the city. Because in the city center is a place that can get a job easily.

When Ren Yuu walked out of the residential complex, he paused for a bit and saw Mei was sunning clothes outside.

Ren Yuu recalled what happened earlier and felt a little angry then immediately walked away while saying, "one day you will regret for throwing me away like trash."

Ren Yuu continued walking around not greeting Mei as he always does every day. Mei who was drying clothes saw Ren Yuu pass by and stopped for a moment, "Ren Yuu? Why didn't the kid even greet me? Let it be, who cares about him," Mei snorted and continued her work. Mei won't know one day she'll regret throwing it away.

Half an hour later Ren Yuu arrived at the center of the city. He walked the path looking for a job he could do. He had been walking around for several hours and stopped at an unfinished building. He thought for a moment and went inside.

Ren Yuu looked at a young man who was staring at the construction operation. The young man had a handsome face with short black hair and his eyes were brown.

Ren Yuu slowly walked up to him and spoke softly, "excuse me sir, are there any job openings here?" Ren Yuu asked quickly and politely.

The young man who heard Ren Yuu's words turned around and looked at Ren Yuu then measured her from top to bottom. He felt a little astonished because Ren Yuu was categorized as a delicate young man from an upper-class family. Only Ren Yuu's clothes alone made him look from an ordinary person.

After sizing up Ren Yuu for a while, the young man spoke, "oh sorry, can you do what you want and what you can do?" Asked the young man arrogantly or lowly.

Ren Yuu thought for a moment and said, "I can pick up any item and move it if you need me. I don't really understand the others, but I really need a job."

The young man sized up Ren Yuu again meticulously and thought, "is this kid able to work? he looked like a spoiled child and his skin was very smooth. Let this boy try, from his face he looks like he needs a job."

"Okay, my name is Xing Qian. Come follow me." Xing Qian said to Ren Yuu then walked towards the outskirts of the building.

Ren Yuu quickly followed along excitedly having already gotten the job ."This guy didn't even ask my name and immediately accepted it, and 'Xing?' isn't that the name of one of the top families in Huangwu city?" Thought Ren Yuu for a moment then put her aside.

They both arrived at a small warehouse. There were some people who were lifting things like sacks and moving them into the building.

"You'll start here, I'll say it first. Daily salary is 50 Tael Silver, payment will be given after working for 7 days. Do you understand?" Xing Qian asked slowly.

(1 Tael Gold\= 1,000 Tael Silver. 1 Tael Silver\=100 Bronze Coin. Although it may not be used in the future, I will explain)

"Yes sir." Ren Yuu replied and nodded quickly. He knew the salary was a little smaller than usual. Because the daily salary is usually 52-55 Silver Taels. But, Ren Yuu was not a problem at all. Because he desperately needs a job.

Xing Qian nodded then called one of the other workers and explained to him about Ren Yuu.

After that Ren Yuu started working quickly. Xing Qian also explained that today her payment would be cut in half as it was already in the daytime. Ren Yuu understood that.

Ren Yuu was confused by his body which was only slightly exhausted after working half a day lifting a hefty item said to be heavy into the building.

The day went on, it did not feel like a week had passed and Ren Yuu finally got his first salary.

"It's your first payment," Xing Qian smiled slightly as she gave a small pouch to Ren Yuu.

Xing Qian knew how hardworking the young man in front of her heard from the other workers and paid a full 7-day salary as a bonus.

"Thank you sir," Ren Yuu bowed softly.

Xing Qian nodded slowly and immediately left.

Ren Yuu immediately stored the Tael bag inside his clothes and went back to his house.

Ren Yuu walked slowly and enjoyed the scenery in the afternoon. He always remembered that in the afternoon his mother would carry him around even though he was 6 years old.

Ren Yuu gave a small smile imagining her happy past. It disappeared because of the voice of a man.

"Isn't this Ren Yuu's loser?"
