Ch 118's. Ren Doushi's
Ren Yuu was currently inside the cave. He was surprised by the sight before him.
While following the person before, Ren Yuu looked around. In front of him was a very beautiful sight. There were several hills and lakes as far as the eye could see. Ren Yuu had not expected that there would be a place like this under the cave.
Then the previous person led Ren Yuu to a building located on the edge of a lake.
Ren Yuu vividly recalled that this building was very similar to the building when it first obtained the inheritance.
Ren Yuu somewhat trembled looking at the building in front of him as well as making speculations as to who was staying at the place.
"Could there still be a remnant of the Ren clan who survived?" Inner Ren Yuu.
When he arrived at the temple that looked very well maintained, the previous man disappeared instantly using the Ren clan technique. Ren Yuu was shocked to see that technique.
"Silent Teleport," Inner Ren Yuu.
"Please enter," the voice of someone who sounded dignified rang out in Ren Yuu's ears.
Ren Yuu gulped down his saliva from feeling nervous that maybe someone living here was the rest of the Ren clan members.
Ren Yuu went inside slowly after taking a deep breath. He also noticed that there was a statue he had seen before. Seeing that, he was increasingly convinced that this place belonged to the Ren clan in the past.
When he went inside, Ren Yuu several times passed through the room. There were some servants who bowed slightly towards him.
Ren Yuu did not care much about that, he continued to go inside. When he arrived at a room where the door to the side was wide open and there was a small pond there, he saw someone gazing into the distance with his back to him.
That person then turned around then looked at Ren Yuu. When Ren Yuu saw his face, Ren Yuu trembled all over his body from being very familiar with that face. It was an old version of his father, Ren Douzi.
"You must have guessed who I am, right?" Said the old man while letting Ren Yuu sit on a cushion in front of the small table.
Ren Yuu sat down slowly. He did not know what to say by looking at the person in front of him.
"You are-..." Ren Yuu wanted to confirm his guess and was cut off by the old man in front of him.
"I am Ren Doushi, you can call me grandfather" Ren Doushi said with a smile.
Ren Yuu widened his eyes in disbelief. In Ren Yuu's memory, his father mentions that his grandfather is dead.
"But, father said..." Ren Yuu stopped because it was impolite to call someone alive by the word dead even though he was still doubtful about the identity of the person in front of him.
"Yes, for your father I am dead. But, I was actually locked up by someone when the big fight happened about 17 years ago." Ren Doushi explained.
"17 years ago? A fight?" Inner Ren Yuu was therefore close to the day of his birth.
Looking at Ren Yuu's confused face, Ren Doushi explained, "when you were born, you wanted to be killed by many clans and sects because when you were born, a strange phenomenon occurred."
"The reason we are afraid is because of the Profound bloodline belonging to the Ren clan and the legacy of the God Body Technique manual, you must be processing that manual, right?" Ren Doushi asked as he waved his hand for a moment.
Ren Yuu trembled to hear it and it was true that it was the manual he was processing.
Then some servants came to deliver tea and poured tea into a glass made of bamboo carved in such a way.
After the waiter left, Ren Doushi said, "drink first."
Ren Yuu who had complex thoughts just took a sip of his tea then drank it to calm down.
After which, Ren Doushi said again, "only the Patriarch of the Ren clan knows about what inheritance you get. Actually the God Body Technique manual is a manual that is widely circulated in the Ren clan. But, it was very rare for people to cultivate it because of the extremely high requirements."
"There are several conditions that must be met so that someone can process the manual. First, one must master the Devour Technique," Ren Doushi raised his hand. In his hand suddenly a black vortex was created. Ren Yuu knew that it was the Devour Technique.
"If one is unable to master it, don't expect to reach even the second layer of the God Body Technique manual."
"And secondly, one must have a strong determination since the manual was so terrifying as to make the body tormented."
"You should know you got here, right?" Ren Doushi asked slowly and then drank his tea.
"Yes grandfather," replied Ren Yuu. He increasingly believed that the person in front of him was his grandfather.
Ren Doushi was happy because Ren Yuu called him grandfather. And it was relieved that Ren Yuu did not blame her when she had not seen him all this time.
"The Ren clan's inheritance was split into three. The first and second are the manuals and techniques. In the past, someone who opened the inheritance recorded the manuals and techniques so that other members of the Ren clan were able to process them without opening the inheritance even though it would be very difficult."
"And the third one, you must know that because right now the artifact is attached to your body. It was visible from two dragon patterns on your wrist" said Ren Doushi.
Ren Yuu looked at his left wrist. He felt confused when this pattern appeared and on his back there was also the same tattoo.
"Yes..." Ren Yuu paused for a moment and asked, "why did I want to be killed at Grandpa's birth?" this made him very curious as to why people were after him.
"I'll tell you first about the Ren clan. In the time of grandfather was young, Ren clan was exterminated by several clans even though the clan had perished also in the hands of grandfather and left only one clan, namely the Mu clan. Since then, only a few members of the Ren clan remained. Our previous number wasn't up to 40 people."

Ren Yuu put on a serious face hearing it out of wanting to know what it was.
Ren Doushi put on a serious face as he said, "it is the legendary Profound Emperor Darkness."
