Ch 144's. Gateway
Death Island
The days keep passing. Ren Yuu and Xing Jianying continued to move towards the center of the island of Death.
"It won't be long for us to get there Ying'er," Ren Yuu said as she continued moving on top of the tree branch to another branch.
Xing Jianying nodded seriously and continued to follow Ren Yuu.
Not until 2 days, they arrived at the place pointed by the map. Ren Yuu and Xing Jianying paused for a moment and went into Dimensional Life to recuperate as it had been days of them moving at full speed.
After recovering, Ren Yuu and Xing Jianying walked out of Dimensional Life. Ren Yuu and Xing Jianying gazed towards the place and many strong cultivators had arrived there as well.
"It looks like Emperor Pangu's legacy is split into three even though I'm not really sure." Ren Yuu said softly as he stared at the distant ruins.
Xing Jianying glanced at Ren Yuu strangely because lately Ren Yuu was often hesitant about something.
"Let's get closer," Ren Yuu moved slowly and Xing Jianying simply followed behind.
Thousands of cultivators had arrived at that place. Ren Doushi and Ren Huanran were also there. While Cai'Zi and the Heavenly Palace members were not here.
"That's grandpa and aunt. Let's go over there." Ren Yuu immediately moved towards Ren Doushi and Ren Huanran and was followed by Xing Jianying.
Ren Doushi and Ren Huanran looked towards Ren Yuu and felt relieved that Ren Yuu and Xing Jianying survived all the way to their place.
"What happened to Yuu'er? I heard you were separated from the person who took care of you. Grandpa was worried." Ren Doushi directly spoke when Ren Yuu and Xing Jianying arrived.
"Pregnated me? I didn't know it was Grandpa. But, I fought with Long Jie's mother before and had to rest in Dimensional Life," Ren Yuu replied.
Ren Doushi and Ren Huanran looked at each other as they did not expect Ren Yuu to survive Chu An.
"Then, what about Chu An?" Ren Doushi asked somewhat coldly because he already knew that Chu An was the one who caught Ren Huanran again when he was detached from the previous Chi clan.
"Kissed." Ren Yuu replied slowly.
Ren Doushi was surprised that Ren Yuu could defeat Chu An and smiled behind his mask.
Ren Huanran also felt happy because Ren Huanran hated Chu An so much because all this time he was only in his equipment.
Ren Yuu did not tell about the appearance of the God race because the Moon Sovereign told him not to tell anyone.
"Then, why hasn't everyone moved?" Ren Yuu asked in astonishment as he looked towards the Ruins.
"We can't pass because there are very strong monster beasts guarding this place. We are waiting for the Nascent Soul cultivators to arrive to eliminate that monster beast," Ren Doushi replied.
Ren Yuu nodded to hear it but felt that they must have been separated because there were three places. If one place in was ignored by the people, the chances of Nascent Soul cultivators gathering more and more.
Then the battle in a distant place sounded. Ren Yuu knew it was in one more place as shown by the map left behind by Yong Jun.
Since there were only a few Nascent Soul cultivators here, they ended up going towards the source of the fight.
Ren Yuu looked towards the battle that was happening from a distance. They were fighting the Ascension monster beast that had already taken on a human form.
Although he had already taken on a human form, the monster beasts were still guarding the place because maybe their race had been ordered to guard the place.
"What monster is that? He could be capricious into humans and monster beasts," Xing Jianying was astonished. I don't know why a monster can be human.
"When..." Ren Yuu explained to Xing Jianying that monster beasts would mostly take on human form if they reached Ascension. Not all of them can take on a human form. There were also some monster beasts that could take on the human form in the Nascent Soul Tier.
Xing Jianying did not know at all about it and felt amazed. Ren Doushi on the other hand instantly moved towards the battle because the ones fighting were the members of Heavenly Palace and Frozen Sect.
Ren Yuu did not find any strong members of the Dragon Sect and a big clan like the Mu clan which meant they were in third place.
Over 20 Nascent Souls fought against that monster beast. The monster beast was cornered by all of them because not only were 20 Nascent Souls fighting but nearly 70 Nascent Soul half-step cultivators and hundreds of Gold Core pinnacles were fighting against it.
The monster beast switched to its original form. Its original form was a huge leech-type monster beast and it looked disgusting.
Not long after, the monster beast died from fighting too many cultivators. Hundreds of Gold Core pinnacles were killed by the monster beasts earlier. There was also one Tier Nascent Soul that had died from that battle.
"Let's go over there," Ren Yuu, Ren Huanran and Xing Jianying directly went towards the front of the ruins guarded by the monster beasts earlier.
"Are you okay, dad?" Ren Huanran asked as he arrived near Ren Doushi who was slightly injured.
"Yes, I'm fine. Let's get into these ruins." Ren Doushi immediately looked towards the inside of the ruins after saying that.
Everyone looked at each other and directly moved towards within the ruins. When they arrived inside the not-so-large ruins, they were all confused as there was only a round circle 15 meters in diameter inside the building.
"What's that?" Ren Yuu asked in surprise. No one answered and everyone was confused as to what it was.
"That's the gate that connects this place to another place." The voice of the Moon Sovereign rang out in Ren Yuu's head.
"The gate?" Ren Yuu was confused by that.
"This place is actually not an inheritance but this is where Pan Gu connects this continent with the rest of the continent" the Moon Sovereign added.
Ren Yuu was surprised to hear it and asked, "how do I activate that thing Master?"
"It wasn't hard. Just channel the profound energy into the thing, it will be active even if the gate on the other side must also be activated." Answer Moon Sovereign.
"It is likely that the three places are portals towards the other three continents," Inner Ren Yuu.
"Teacher, does this thing really work?" Ask Ren Yuu again.
"Yes. This one still works. But Master had seen the previous one that was still in the guard that it was broken. There are probably only two gates that can be used." Answer Moon Sovereign.
Ren Yuu shriveled because he knew that if the gate was connected, the, the other two continents would invade the Azure Dragon Continent because it had been a long time that had passed and did not know how all the cultivators in the other continents thought about the Azure Dragon Continent.
No one knew about this fact in the slightest and everyone thought the island of Death was an inheritance. But, they did not know that the island of Death was a place that connected the Azure Dragon Continent that was sealed with the other three continents as well as a prison for powerful beings who considered themselves as the God race.
