In the dark night the light of the stars and the moon shines beautifully over the sky. Cold air blows when it feels a little piercing in the skin.

A man stared at the woman before him who seemed focused on his own world as if hypnotized. The man smiled gently before saying "It's already night but you're still working hard. All the workers have gone home and left only you! Candy might be lonely at home right now!"

The woman smiled back and replied in a regretful tone "I couldn't stop myself when we were so close. Very close to our destination.!"

"That's great but try not to push yourself too much!"

After saying that sentence, silence returned.

The man did not make a sound and just stared at the woman before him not wanting to disturb. He stayed there and became a companion.

After a few mixed things in his hands. The woman let out a long sigh trying to calm herself down and exclaimed "Just a little more. A little more trial and this serum will work!"

"So this serum will be finished after a few more things, Stella?" The man asked back to make sure when his face was a little excited. Getting a nod of the head from the woman named Stella, the man continued "That's good, we managed to do a noble thing. Our daughter will live very well in the future.."

"That's right, just a little mix and a few more ingredients, this serum will be finished. Candy will live well without the need to feel afraid again, She can let out all the feelings she has for anything!"

"I'll call Young Master Edward..." With a nod of agreement, the man moved from Stella's side and contacted someone she was talking about.

Time passed very slowly when the man who had gone to contact someone returned with cold sweat on his forehead.

He clasped Stella's hand and hurriedly said "Let's go! We gotta get out of here! Young Master Edward said that someone was heading here with malicious intent. He's asking us to run away and hide!"

"Tery?! Is Young Master Edward coming?"

"She was on her way here to save us, but she was afraid she wouldn't..."

"Little mouse stopped hiding and ran away! Let's show you! We play together.. hehe~~"

"They're here!" Tery clenched his hands as he dragged Stella's body to start running away.

Tery's left hand moved to destroy a liquid and ignite the fire to burn the room.

"What about Candy? Is he going to be okay?! Tery's..."

"Our daughter will be fine... Young Master Edward has sent someone to look after him!" Tery gets even more insane as he runs as hard as he can after trying to hinder his enemy by burning down the Lab.

The couple got into the car when they got outside, they started the car and sped away without waiting even a second, leaving the Lab already burning by the burning fire.

The black figure darting from within the flames looked unharmed in the slightest. He continued to move forward to the car driven by the couple.

A loud bang was heard as the black figure lunged at the black car driven by Tery and Stella, leaving the car dazed and mired to the left.

"Little mouse, where are you going? Hehe~~" A cold voice with a tone of ridicule sounded when the black figure appeared above the car.

Tery stepped on the brake pedal and turned the steering wheel crazily. The car turned sharply and dazed for a moment before moving forward again.

Stella clenched her hands tightly, she stared at her husband with a drop of tears.

Rounding off her broken heart, Stella clasped her cell phone and contacted her beloved daughter.

With a very long ringing, the phone went unanswered. Stella cries when she realizes that Candy may have fallen asleep and her phone is dead.

He rubbed the tears on his cheek and started speaking leaving a voicemail with his voice shaking.

"Darling, dear Candy, beautiful mother's daughter.. Mom and dad love you and will always be with you!"

"He'll be fine!" Tery said soothingly when he saw his wife crying bitterly. The man's face looked pale and his eyes were flushed red as he continued driving with his tightly clenched hands.

Stella nodded softly, she clasped Tery's shirt with a powerful r3m4s4n before re-picking the number on her phone to contact someone again.

[I'm almost there.].

"Young Master Edward please take care of my daughter! Please take care of him! I'll send the data I copied to your email! Please, promise me you'll take care of my daughter!" Stella cut the man across.

[...I promise to take care of it!] The tone of voice across the phone sounded heavy after quite a long silence

"Thank you!!!" Stella felt a little relieved, She said the sentence she needed to say and turned off the phone instantly.

After squeezing a few things on his phone, the vehicle they were riding in was hit by something loud once again, louder than before. The car squeaked and overturned many times before it shattered and exploded.

A black figure appeared with blood-red eyes and fangs on his teeth, he chuckled softly as he walked closer "That is the result if you are too stubborn..."

After confirming the death of the 2 people he was after, the figure disappeared and mingled in the darkness of the night.

Not long after the figure's departure, another figure appeared in a black robe that covered his entire body.

"Sorry, I'm late!" The voice of the man inside the black robe sounded heavy as he lowered the cloth cover on his head.

A stunningly handsome face with Edward's silver eyes lit up in the darkness of night was seen. However, the handsome face of the man looked injured and a little stiff in anger.

He clenched his hands tightly when a siren of police cars and ambulances sounded. With a final look at the charred corpses in the wrecked car, his figure dissolved into the darkness and disappeared.

The silence of the night was so silent with a hint of air gripping around. The darkness that mingled with the silence of the night looked gloomy and unfriendly.

Beautiful silver-colored eyes stared straight ahead with a wounded look as the figure stood stiffly staring at the figure of the girl who was sound asleep on the bed.

As he leaves the scene of the accident, Edward rushes to return to Jovanka's home. At Stella's last request she was here staring at the figure of her daughter who was sound asleep.

"Didn't destiny play out so ironically?" Edward muttered softly as a cynical smile formed at the corner of his lips "When I first met you, I felt that the meeting was no coincidence. But, looking much closer at this moment, our meeting is like a fate!"

Edward turned his gaze from the sound asleep girl to stare at the Window of the room with a distant look.

"Candy, I stayed away from you because I was afraid that you would bond with me and have a bad destiny. But, who would have thought that fate did not stop and instead made you become much closer to me!" Breathing out from Edward's red lips, he looked back at Candy's sleeping figure.

A loud noise was heard downstairs when Edward was convinced that the news of his parents' death would soon be heard and the girl was devastated.

"Stella, I'll protect her. Protecting your daughter like I promised! But, I can't promise to protect her feelings as well as the destiny that will bring her to me!" When the last sentence came out, Edward's figure disappeared again.

A loud knock on the door sounded as the figure of the slumbering Candy opened her eyes slowly and rose.
