09 Flashback to the Past

The moon shines beautifully over the dark sky. His brilliant radiance seemed like a light to everyone who felt lost.

A pair of beautiful silver-colored eyes were seen staring at the moon in the dark sky as if she had found the direction of her life. With a smile hanging at the corner of his red lips, the handsome figure shook his head slowly before swiping away at him.

"Edward, what are you thinking?" Edward's silver-colored eyes blinked at the beautiful figure beside him who was making a sound. He looked towards the girl looking as if he was looking at the moonlight in the sky.

"I'm thinking of you.."

"Stop bragging.." the girl blushed in embarrassment as she pinched the arm of little Edward's hand "I'm always curious, why do you like me in the end? Didn't you say you didn't want to be in touch with humans?"

Listening to the girl's question, Edward paused for a moment to think about her answer. He looked at the woman's sapphire blue eyes before explaining "Because I fell in love with both of your beautiful eyes that looked like moonlight. It was beautiful and it seemed to give me direction so I wouldn't get lost.. Tina, I love you!"

Edward's mind came to a realization in the present when he saw the figure of the woman he loved so much. Seeing the long silence between them after leaving the living room, Edward unconsciously continued to remember the old memories that were so beautiful and tortured him simultaneously.

The handsome figure of Edward looked at Austina with guilt and also loss. He could not help but hate Austina's decision as well as hers.

If Edward could return to the past, where he first met Austina. He would push the girl away, and Edward would also try to stay away from her.

"I did this so we could always be together! Don't you love me? Then don't you want to live with me forever?"

Edward's face blackened, he looked at the beautiful figure of Austina who was now a Vampire with Blood Red Eyes. His heart is sick and wounded.

"I love you, love you so much! That's why I never wanted you to be a monster like me!" Edward's voice was raucous as a drop of tears fell from his eyelids

"You're not a monster, you're Edward, my good lover and never even hurt a human for no reason. Edward, we'll think about that later together. Can't we be together forever now? In the future let's find the serum together and go back to being human.."

"Austina!!!" Edward's voice trembled, he lowered his head hearing the pain in his heart.

Maybe what Austina said was not wrong, but to look for the serum was not easy. It takes hundreds, no! Maybe thousands of years. And during that time Austina had to live like her.

"Do you still hate me?" Austina's voice was heard softly as she looked at Edward's silent figure without a word.

Edward regained his senses when he listened to the question. Seeing Austina's figure again after thousands of years, she couldn't help but recall on their memories.

"I never hated you!" Edward answered softly with a slightly hoarse voice.

That'sthat's true!

From the beginning until now Edward never hated Austina! She only hated herself and felt guilty every time she saw her beautiful figure.

"You blame yourself again.." Austina let out a long sigh and averted her gaze "It was my decision to turn into a Vampire, Edward stop feeling guilty... All I want is- Back as in the past..."

"That's impossible!"

"Why?" Austina asked as her sapphire blue eyes began to dew "Didn't you not hate me? You still like me, don't you? Or do you like that girl?"

"Tina..." Edward shook his head slowly "Our relationship ended thousands of years ago. Even if I don't hate you, it's very hard for me to come back to you, and that girl has nothing to do with us!"

"You sure that girl has nothing to do with us?" Austina's tone sounded cold as she stared at Edward with a sharp look "The girl will end up the same as me, you know that for sure. So stop expecting the impossible!"

Edward was silent, he just kept silent and looked at Austina without saying anything.

He knew very well that what the girl before him said was the truth.

Edward never expected anything from Candy! From the beginning he had closed his heart to Candy and would never open it.

Candy's existence is only as food and also a figure that must be protected for the debt he has. No matter even if the girl would feel lonely and hurt from her unrequited love, Edward had already made up his resolve to no longer make the wrong decision.

Austina's face darkened instantly. He snorted angrily and stomped his feet on the floor "I hope you really won't be as tempted and stupid as in the past. I'll be back to visit!"

Edward's beautiful eyebrows twitched as he listened to Austina's words before leaving.

He let out a long sigh and leaned on his tired shoulders before returning to recall some old memories.

Thousands of years after waking from a long sleep. Edward travels around to explore the World and sees many changes. He meets Jane and saves her life.

However, all the things he did and what he saw seemed to move nothing in his heart. She still felt empty and much more lonely when she was with Austina.

Can not be denied, Edward slightly missed the figure of Austina in his past.

He missed that cheerful girl!

But everything had changed, the human figure he loved no longer existed!

If it wasn't for James being so presumptuous and helping Austina to become a Vampire, Edward was sure the figure he loved would still be human.

But no matter how he wanted to kill James and hated himself for making Austina change, nothing would be better. All of those things will only get worse.

Edward wandered without direction, walking in his black hood around a quiet, silent garden.

His handsome figure behind the hood gives a mysterious impression and can not be seen clearly unless his silver-colored eyes are still equally beautiful and sharp.

Staring around the park, Edward's silver-colored eyes flickered boredly as he saw the figure of a 5-year-old little girl playing with a sand.

The roaring wind softly flew Edward's black robe as his figure just stood still and looked at the little girl as if bewitched.

With a round face looking cute, the girl smiled and played alone. Sensing a gust of cold wind, the small figure held onto his head hair to keep it from falling apart.

As the blowing wind passed, the little girl blinked and averted her gaze.

The Amber-colored eyes met the Silver-colored Eyes.

Edward's heart throbbed unnaturally, his body stiffening gaining the gaze of the little girl before him.

With her small footsteps, the girl stepped forward to reach for Edward's figure while continuing to stare with her beautiful, shining eyes.

Edward's heart that did not function as if beating unnaturally as the small figure approached him.

"Sister do you want to play together?" Her small and beautiful voice echoed in the silence

"Why?" Edward muttered softly without him noticing

"You look lonely standing here! Come here and play so you won't be lonely!"

Edward's cold face melted away as the corners of his lips revealed a slight smile. He looked at the little girl who was only as tall as his feet with a warm feeling in his heart.

His silver-colored eyes were again met with those Amber-colored eyes.

Edward couldn't not be bewitched.

He felt as if he saw the moonlight there, a light that would lead you not to get lost..

"Foolish and Dumb?" Edward muttered with his eyes closed as the memory of 13 years ago rose in his mind "You are indeed Edward's fool!"
