Aunt Jane who was outside waiting gasped in shock when she saw Candy's body flying out of the room. When the girl's body was balanced, she swiftly ran towards him anxiously.
"Did the Young Master throw you out? Is he angry?"
Hearing the anxious tone and long question from Aunt Jane, Candy came to a full realization.
Stupidly the girl shook her head slowly while holding her red lips with her face reddened in embarrassment as well as a silly smile.
"Why did he throw you out like that?" Again another question came out of Aunt Jane
Candy looked at the woman before her and answered softly "I was too noisy to think about things. So the Young Master kicked me out"
Sighing in relief Aunt Jane nodded slowly as if understanding. He forgot to tell this naughty girl before him that the master could read minds. So it was made sure the master was upset because of Candy's very noisy thoughts and drove him away.
"Right, the Young Master said to call Auntie to come inside.."
"Then I'll go in. You better go back and drink some milk to restore your stamina due to the blood you just lost!"
Seeing Aunt Jane disappear behind the door after saying that line, Candy felt a little sad. He still wanted to see the Master or at least be left here and wait for him.
But knowing it was disrespectful so she turned to go and do what Aunt Jane told her to do. He would drink chocolate milk and eat some good food.
Once again the girl thought 'Being Vampire food isn't so bad, especially if the Vampire is as handsome as Edward'
Inside the room, Edward sat quietly in his seat just like before. In front of the man Aunt Jane is seen standing with her head bowed silently.
Edward massaged his temple, lightly staring with eyes that pierced into the wall where he could see Candy's body walking away with her mind still strange.
"That girl can't be helped!" Edward's voice was cold and echoed within the silent room.
Sensing the cold and unhappy aura of her Master, Aunt Jane lowered her head even deeper. He did not move, and did not even dare to breathe carelessly.
"Jane, you taught him to be better.." Edward nodded slowly. She looked at Aunt Jane and massaged her eyes lightly before returning to her voice "You must be wondering why I brought her here?"
Aunt Jane slightly raised her gaze to look at the Master before lowering her head without answering.
Edward was silent for quite a while as if recalling a memory in his mind. With a long sigh he finally said "I owe him something. At first I didn't want to take her by my side, but letting her be out there with so many Vampires, she would likely become more threatened..."
After saying that sentence, Edward just silently let the silence envelop. Aunt Jane on the other hand didn't open her voice either. If the master wanted to say it then he would listen, but if the master chose to be quiet then Aunt Jane would not ask and would not even feel curious.
Since he followed the master, he knew that the Master was a solitary figure and liked to do whatever he thought he wanted to do.
After a long silence, Edward's silver-colored eyes looked at Aunt Jane and again said "I want you to make the girl more obedient and not noisy. At least I want him as a wall painting that's soothing and doesn't give you a headache.."
Aunt Jane nodded lightly and replied her firmly "Good Young Master"
"I'll just call him whenever I want blood. So the rest of you take care of it! That's all you can do now!"
With Jane gone after the wave of her hand. Edward closed his silver eyes and thought in silence.
He begins to think about the real reason behind his desire to make Candy his food and a companion.
He didn't really want to do that before, he had better drink blood from a blood bag than blood directly sucked from a human.
Of course the blood bag is not as specific as the human blood directly sucked, but Edward prefers the blood bag rather than sucking blood directly.
That was because Edward had a slight sense of disgust every time he saw the Human body, imagining to drink it directly made him feel nauseous.but, the girl was different!
Ever since Edward first met her he didn't feel that the girl was disgusting. Whether this was because he saw the girl grow up or for some other reason, Edward did not know for sure.
And after Edward had completely sucked his blood, he felt a tremendous sensation of power running through his body. Actually he wants to suck more however, seeing that it is the first time for Candy, Edward holds himself back.
Seeing this action of hers, she became even more confused and clueless. He felt that his attitude towards the girl was very lenient and patient. In contrast to his attitude that was always cold and uncaring.
Edward's silver eyes opened as he thought about it. He could not help but think of the possibilities he had avoided for thousands of years.
'That's not true! I haven't liked anyone in a long time and don't want to like anyone! It's been thousands of years anyway and my feelings are numb'
With such thoughts in mind Edward again closed his eyes becoming calm and indifferent again.
...........................
The darkness of the night is visible in space. The shining moon revealed a bright and beautiful full moon light.
A pair of amber-colored eyes stared at the scene with a hint of loneliness. It's been 2 days and Candy is feeling very lonely. She did not meet Edward during that time and also just studied and helped Aunt Jane.
Even during that time Candy gets a strong rebuke from Aunt Jane when she finds out that Candy has broken the first rule and is lured by the Master. With anger Aunt Jane continues to say a sentence of prohibition that should not be violated until Candy's ears feel hot.
With a sigh the girl slowly flung and got up from where she sat to walk out of her room. There is one more rule that he should not break, which is not to roam at night!
Not caring about the rules and forgetting about them, Candy begins to step on her beautiful legs to walk around the castle. He hoped that by doing this he would at least meet Young Master Edward. Even though the possibility was very small, he still had a thread of hope in his heart.
Staring at every building that stood solid and luxurious, Candy could not not be amazed once again. He was always curious about Edward's true age.
Thinking about it, Candy couldn't help but sigh sadly. The man must have been very lonely all this time, he also had to replace every single servant he had.
Especially with his personality that is aloof and very cold. Candy began to pity him very badly. If he could he wanted to be by the side of that Vampire and make him no longer lonely. He wanted to make the man have a warm and gentle eye view. It was not the loneliness and sadness that was seen in her beautiful silver eyes.
Thinking of many things in his mind, the girl had unknowingly passed by a place he had never been to before.
During the day, Jane's aunt would take her around to get to know this place. There were many places he could go and places he still did not know.
Seeing the silence and darkness before her, Candy felt a chill on her back for a moment. As he tried to look in all directions to find the direction from which he came, a muffled and soothing voice sounded in his eardrum.
"Hehh, is there another human being here?! So surprising!"
Candy's amber-colored eyes blinked lightly, she tried to look for the origin of the sound.
Blending in the darkness, Candy sees a blurred black figure and is not clearly visible. The moment he wanted to open his voice, the figure disappeared and reappeared right before him in an instant.
Candy was surprised to quickly step back, but her arms were tightly clutched by the figure.
Feeling the cold skin that gripped him he realized the figure before him was not human.
Another vampire!
"It's not good to go before greeting, is it?"
Dropping his shock, Candy looked up to see the handsome man's face with pale white skin and brilliant blue eyes before her.
Seeing the man Candy pensively for a moment before realizing that the Vampire before her was not one of his master's servants.
"Who are you?" Candy's voice trembled slightly in fear as she stared at the figure smiling towards her
With a smile on his lips the Vampire replied "I'm James, James Vincent. And who is this beautiful girl? Why wander alone in a dangerous castle on a dark night?"
Candy pulled her wrist but it was held tightly to the point of making her unable to move 1 inch. With a slightly irritated and agitated look Candy again said "Master can you let me go? I was just heading to the bathroom, but I was lost. Please let me go because if I don't come back quickly, my lord will be angry!"
"There's no need to rush, I know your Master very well. So let's talk for a while and make friends!" James smiled cunningly and increasingly tightened his hand grip on Candy's white arm until it looked red
With a small groan he began to feel pain in his arm. Candy began to fidget and was afraid of the figure in front of her. He wanted to say something but James made a sound.
"You're human, aren't you? Let me drink your blood! It's been 1 day I haven't eaten!"
"No!" Candy refuses quickly and tries to get away from him "Sorry but I can't give my blood to anyone but my master!"
"Edward is my best friend, he wouldn't mind sharing a meal. Trust me and let me suck a little!"
As if hearing a beautiful melodic chant, Candy's unknowingly amber-colored eyes became slightly empty. He was still unable to move and as if hypnotized.
With a smile deepening James nodded lightly staring at Candy. He approached and pulled out a fang on his teeth to bite the girl's white and small neck.
A violent blow of air hit James before he could even suck a drop of blood. His body flew away from Candy and was blown away by a heavy blow.
The sturdy marble floor beneath the long crack followed where James' body landed.
James rubbed his battered body part and chuckled softly before opening his "Isn't that too rude to greet an old friend, Ed?" voice?"
Edward's figure appears and embraces Candy's limp body and does not move. Coldly his silver eyes stared at James before turning their eyes to Candy.
"Is it fun to hang around at night?" Edward's cold voice sounded.
Candy flinched consciously. Looking at the handsome face of Edward who was looking at him with a piercing look he involuntarily shed tears and said quietly "I'm sorry..."
"Alfred take him to my room!" Ignoring the girl's tears, Edward simply orders Alfred to take her away before refocusing on James who starts walking closer.
Edward stared intently at the man and said coldly "What do you want?"
"Hey, come! Is that a way to greet old friends?" James smiled and made himself closer to Edward before returning to continue "I just had some free time to greet you after you woke up from your long slumber for thousands of years!"
"I woke up 50 years ago, so stop boasting and tell me your purpose!"
Looking at Edward's increasingly hardened face with a look of dislike. He no longer spoke slurs but returned to the purpose of his arrival.
"I'm surprised you have a new man, but that's not why I came! I'll ask you next time, and here's why I came here!" With a light wave of hands a red paper flew towards Edward
Edward's hand swiftly caught the piece of paper with a frown on his forehead. Seeing this James patiently explained "The meeting party! The old Vampires are aware of your awakening and want to have a meeting. I knew you wouldn't come to an event like this. But at least I've given you that invitation.."
Edward simply stared straight at James in front of him with his piercing silver eyes. James felt the air chill become a little more suffocating and could not help but sigh before reopening his lips.
"The First Vampire was no joke. I know you're strong, but you can't keep hiding and being self-conscious. I have not been a good friend for thousands of years. At least here I'm trying to help you find the serum to get you back to being human" James sighed at Edward's handsome face before walking away with the last sentence he said "You're fine, that woman, he's stupid and careless. Don't let him be taken by another vampire.."
Edward's handsome face stiffened for a moment to hear his words before turning cold again. With a light r3m4san on his wrist, the red-colored paper shattered into pieces.
His standing figure was lost, seemingly carried away by the night wind before returning to his camp.
