In the afternoon Xia Lian An got the letter from the pigeon again, this time it was from the person who helped him to intercept the emperor Shun and his guards on the way to the Qin state.

Xia Lian An smiled reading the letter, she then burned it so that no one else would know what she had done to emperor Shun.

At midnight, the warlord and a chariot with a palace healer inside arrived at the camp of emperor Shun.

The healer who had just stepped down from the carriage went straight into the tent to treat emperor Shun.

"How do you protect your majesty, until your majesty is hurt like that!" The warlord exclaimed at the deputy head of the bodyguard.

"I'm a commander, I deserve punishment." The deputy head of the bodyguard knelt in front of the warlord.

The palace healer came out from inside the tent after treating emperor Shun's arm.

"How is your honor?" Ask the warlord to the healer.

"The sword contained poison, and it made the noble arm swell up and begin to blacken. I can only use medicine to reduce the poison and pain that the emperor's majesty will feel."

"Why can't you get that poison out of your majesty?"

"We need the ingredients to make the medicine, and it's only in the palace."

The bodyguards that the warlords brought dismantled the tent, and the emperor Shun on papah by the warlords climbed onto the horse-drawn carriage.

Thus, emperor Shun had to hold it in until they reached the palace, and healers could only administer medicine to ease the pain alone to emperor Shun during their journey.
