The Poison: Stories Of The Number 27

The Poison: Stories Of The Number 27
Deandra's Revenge

At the last moment, Xennora found an axe in the corner of the room near the door. Cathleen and Vina were already drowning. Eireen, Kaina and Raina are still busy breaking down the door despite their weakened strength.

"Soge away." Xennora's interruption while lifting the axe made the three of them automatically retreat. With three punches, he managed to damage the keyhole section so that the door could already be opened. Xennora throws her original axe and holds Vina along with Eireen to get out. Kaina and Raina carry Cathleen.

They fell a few meters in front of the hall. The sound of incessant coughing sounded. Their hair and dresses were tangled, disheveled. Worst performance of all time.

Due to being too limp and inhaling a lot of gas, they all fainted there. Without knowing a man who approached them while smiling obliquely.

"Smart you too." He muttered and brought the six girls one by one away from the back of the school.

...❄❄❄💙❄❄❄...

"In this second scene, Eireen Daritadi wears a face cover..." Sofia.

"Look, the story is he's a ghost." Reply Edwin.

"Yes, too, but the sound of singing time is a bit different. So it's heavier."

Edwin agreed. Up ahead, Eireen was surrounded by a white-clad spirit that continued to walk in a circle. His movements were agitated as if the spirits surrounding him were going to injure him simultaneously. Backsound for this scene also sounds very scary and stressful to make everyone watch seriously.

"Yahoooo!!" it was the cry of Ratna, the character played by Eireen. The spirits circling around him stopped and the music stopped making everyone tensely silent. The spirits surrounding Ratna suddenly crouched down, but there was nobody in their midst suffocating the audience in confusion.

Before long the music returned to spin followed by red light from some lights backstage. A person in a white dress floated among the spirits who started to line up behind. Before long he went down, lying unconscious in front of the row of spirits.

"Error, greed, unconsciousness, levity, pride, and ignorance. Such as the confusion of choosing the good and the right, and the blame for what has happened. Life of... Nor would it be complete without regret."

With the sound of an adult man whose source was out of nowhere, Ratna slowly got up and sat down with her head still down. He no longer wears a face mask. But still his face is not clearly visible because of his long hair that Sofia believes is a wig.

"You gave me a second chance. To fix what you have broken. If you don't use this opportunity well, then it means you don't deserve to be in this world. Fix what you've broken, avoid what you'll break."

The voice sounded again, it seemed to be a voice from God. Before long the lights went out, leaving some dimly lit lights that only highlighted Ratna.

Suddenly, Ratna laughed. What initially sounded soft became increasingly loud, making everyone confused including the theater children who act as spirits. This part is really not in the script, it is also not an improvisation.

"Well, what's gini?" Tanya Via, the theater leader backstage with his deputy and secretary.

"Improvisation?" The deputy's question made Via shake strongly.

"No way, Ratna's dialogue should have said that she refused the second chance. The angry Lord kept on chiding Ratna until she was unconscious. And there's no such thing as laughter." Said Via firmly while looking at the script back.

The three of them stared anxiously at the stage. This is all out of their control. And they have absolutely no way to stop Deandra... The one who is in the role of Ratna to replace Eireen who suddenly disappeared.

15 Minutes earlier...

"*OK Eireen, get ready... Five minutes from the second scene." Via instructions while looking at the script in his hand.

"Sister! Eireen doesn't exist!"

"What?! Where is she?!"

"Nobody knows, brother. Nobody saw Eireen leave..."

Someone in the corner of the room lowered his head, enduring the nervousness. He's the one who asked Eireen to drive Deandra. And he himself did not have the courage to reveal it to the chairman.

"Aish... Yaudah change it first. Who hasn't been in the scene of being a ghost?!"

"The same way Deandra doesn't."

Deandra gave the woman a look of intimidation that made Nara swallow her saliva.

"Vi..."

Via looked at Nara, as if asking 'what?'

"G-go... I guess I can't. Long time no longer a dialogue Ratna. Deandra is Vi."

Via sighed tiredly. "Ck, yaudah, let's go." Final Via while looking at Deandra who is smiling triumphantly*.

Frightened, the theater children left the stage in a hurry to leave Deandra, who had risen to his feet. The audience began to move away from the stage, including the principal, and several other teachers.

"Fathers, teachers, and sisters... I'm Deandra Callena... Present here to provide additional entertainment at this event..."

When Deandra spoke, the curtain was closed but Deandra still spoke with a loud but soft voice. Sofia, Edwin and Nazril are strangled after learning that the person in front of them is Deandra, not Eireen.

"I also have a guest tonight... Please greet them.." continued Deandra, the curtain was opened featuring Cathleen, Kaina, Raina, Xennora, Vina and Eireen sitting with their hands tied. They had come to their senses, Xennora gave a sharp look at Deandra. For the second time, Sofia, Edwin and Nazril screeched in surprise.

"Then, let's start. I have some pills. A portion of the pill contained level 1 Antrovitoxin. It won't kill anyone except with your stomach that'll hurt for a few weeks. One of you drinks one, while I also drink the rest. Isn't that fair?" Deandra explained the game to the six captives.

Before long, Devan came up with a small bowl of pills, and seven glasses of mineral water. He distributed the mineral water one by one to Xennora and the other, and to Deandra as well.

"Bully girl, starting with lo."

The bully girl Deandra was referring to was Cathleen. With a sigh, Cathleen took one pill with her hands still tied and drank it. They were all silent, including Cathleen herself. Before long he screamed in pain while holding his stomach. Deandra smiled cunningly and took the pill, but nothing happened which meant that Deandra did not take the poison pill.

Xennora fell silent, thinking of a way that could solve Deandra's game. He was a little powerless to hear Vina cry, fortunately it was his turn before Vina and Eireen. There's gotta be a reason Deandra didn't get the toxic pills. Impossible, all those pills were in the same bowl. Even Kaina and Raina had the same fate as Cathleen. Now it was her turn, Xennora looked at the bowl.

Across the street, Nazril prayed desperately for his cousin to be safe.

Xennora was silent, there must be something that could explain all of this. Even Deandra took the pill carelessly but the choice was always right. What's wrong?

"Hey lady, aren't you going to play my game?"

Xennora looked at Deandra cynically, then her gaze fell on the glass in Deandra's hand. Oh shit why did he just realize that?

Xennora took one pill and swallowed it without drinking water. It was a little difficult, but it finally worked. Deandra looked surprised as she saw what the girl was doing made Xennora smile triumphantly. It turns out to be true.

"Hey?!" peekik Deandra did not accept.

"Why? I used to take pills directly, without drinking water. Not banned... Don't you?" xennora asked provoked Deandra's anger.

Nazril breathed a sigh of relief, lucky to have such a smart cousin. Beside him, Mr. Hasan secretly tried to call the police, but Devan realized it and immediately told Deandra.

"For anyone who wants to call the police... You should know that the guarantee is your own life.... Bamm!!" Deandra said loudly accompanied by hands that seemed to shoot one of the paintings which was fairly close to the position of Sofia and Edwin. Some people whose position was close to that area could only mutter cluelessly. So did Sofia and Edwin.

Dorr!

Everyone was shocked. Some looked scared. This was not the voice that Deandra let out from her mouth like the one in her last sentence earlier. But this is a real revolver. Their gazes shifted to Deandra, he held a revolver that was still emitting a hint of smoke. The painting that was appointed by Deandra also fell showing something that was originally covered by the painting. Thank goodness the bullet didn't hit anyone. At least for now.

"So... Better not put your lives down... Because it's... Haha you will know for yourself the consequences later. Good luck!"

As Deandra continued to babble, Vina, Xennora and Eireen walked quietly through the back door where they had been brought in earlier. Unfortunately Devan realized it. Without telling Deandra, he followed the three girls who started to split up.
