Carnival

"Would you eat first?" Julian asked the girl beside him. Now they're in Julian's car with Eireen, Vina, and Sofia. While in the second car, the car owned by Edwin behind Julian, filled by Edwin, Leo, Herina, Ervin and Vinca.

Leo, Edwin and Ervin nodded and left. There are only Xennora and Julian left. Silently, Xennora scanned around making Julian's gaze diverted.

A second later, their gazes met. Xennora thought, maybe if only Julian saw it nothing would be so embarrassing. He looked at the sushi in front of him. Without ba bi bu, Xennora devoured a piece of sushi using her hands. Ignoring Julian who was still staring at him intensely.

"Gue can't use chopsticks." It was clearly Xennora with her mouth full, yet Julian's gaze was still the same as before. As Xennora's hand was about to grab some more sushi, Julian held her back.

Xennora was silent for a while and went to wash her hands, but Julian held her back and pulled Xennora's arm back to sit down.

"Look outside." Julian said, his chin pointed at a billboard outside the restaurant. The picture is just a hand holding a chopstick with some fine dining in front of it. Xennora did not understand what Julian meant. But suddenly a piece of sushi was right in front of Xennora's face making the girl slightly rewind her face.

Xennora looked at Julian cluelessly but Julian kept smiling, "let's eat." He said as he brandished the sushi that was still in front of Xennora's face.

"Where are we going?" Julian asked along with the mouthful that Xennora received was still awkward and almost choked. What say? We were?

Xennora was silent for a while, then looked at Julian. "Loe... Sundanese?"

"My mom is from Bandung. Wh why? Wanna see?" Julian's question, which Xennora stiffened with, turned her face away, making Julian chuckle softly.
