The Poison: Stories Of The Number 27

The Poison: Stories Of The Number 27
Herina Zhuanshi Annora

"Na, go to your house first huh. I have something to ask you about aunty Naifa." Xennora said as she and Nazril were in the car.

"okay." Nazril answered briefly because he was focusing on driving.

The next few minutes the atmosphere around them was filled with silence until Nazril opened his voice.

"Loe... Still not worried about... That?" Nazril asked doubtfully. Xennora looked at him for a while then looked back at the street in front of him.

Xennora sighed softly, "yet. I'm confused as to how to say it. I've said nothing about them." Xennora said with a fretful look made Nazril look at him for a while and stroked Xennora's head with his left hand.

Xennora sighed heavily, "definitely they hate me." Surely said.

Nazril smiled, his gaze still focused on the streets. "Hey, his name is definitely going to support his sister continue to dong. I'm sure Edwin and Leo must know why you're hiding everything. That privacy applies to everyone, Xennora. And what is called privacy, can only be known to yourself and some people who are trusted. Sometimes people need their own scope, and as you know, there has to be a reason." Clearly Nazril made Xennora smile then nodded in agreement.

"Bay the way, you fit Vina." Xennora said, turning the conversation away with a mischievous smile.

"Eey, why go there." Nazril chuckled slightly realizing the topic that Xennora had turned into a diversion.

"Seriously, Na... Anyway, you've never known your girl to me. Never really been...." Xennora's remark emphasizing her last sentence made Nazril smile and nod. It is true, for 17 years he lived, never had a close friend or a girlfriend who is often called. Neither has Xennora ever dated.

Julian laughed, "gue matches Vina?" The question is interspersed with laughter.

Xennora chuckled at the thought of how it would be if Nazril was close to Vina. Then Xennora nodded, "yes, it fits Na perfectly. The vibes are kayaking... Nazril Arkatama who can be said to be a softboy met Revanea Emilio whose appearance is rather tomboyish but cheerful.... Damn it! It really fits." Clearly Xennora with her signature hand gestures.

"Eh but when I first met, Vina's appearance was more tomboyish loh Na, not like now that was a bit girly." Xennora began to crumble.

"Lo know what kind of sentences always come out of your mouth spontaneously, especially your mouth?" Nazril asked with a laugh making Xennora stop smiling.

"Huh? What's the?"

"Ghibah." Nazril answered briefly. Spontaneously, Xennora smacked her arm making Nazril laugh.

"That's not ghibah... I'm just talking to you and the target just happens to be Vina." Xennora Alibi.

"Oh yeah? Lo sure??"

"Yes ish... Your face is very sad."

"Hahaha yes it is my woy again drive..."

Nazril Arkatama, Xennora's cousin. The only person treated differently by the girl.

...❄❄❄💙❄❄❄...

Herina came home a little tired. After the departure of Xennora and Nazril earlier, they immediately disbanded and chose to discuss it again later in the group chat.

"Home home?" Ask his mother who was peeling pea skin while watching TV. Herina nodded and opened her shoes.

"Hmmm..." Mumbled. Herina's house is fairly simple with one floor only. After all, his parents were just freelance day laborers who were not very famous even among neighbors.

After locking the room door, Herina placed her bag on the mattress and sat down at her study table. He opened his English book because tomorrow there is a try out with English subjects.

"Rin! Wash the dishes! I'll pick up your sister first! It's a long game." Shouted his mother from outside and soon heard the sound of the door being closed. Herina sighed, couldn't Herina study quietly today?

Irritated, Herina took a bath first. Herina has a six-year-old sister, Hanelle. Her personality was cheerful, and somewhat shameless. Hanelle is not as smart as her sister, but for whatever reason, Hanelle is more loved by both parents.

Surely you already understand what Herina's problem is?

Whatever Hanelle does, it always manages to steal the attention of her mother and father until it is praised out. While Herina, as hard as she tried to win the academic Olympics, only got congratulations from her father and mother. Often Herina did not get any words.

Life is not fair? Indeed indeed.

After taking a shower and changing clothes, Herina went out to go to the kitchen and do the dishes. In the living room, Herina sees her father and mother are back. With Hanelle of course. Hanelle who just finished drawing something, immediately showed it to mother and father who certainly got another level of praise. Herina smiled wryly at herself, then continued her steps to go to the kitchen.

I don't know, but it looks like Herina never felt what Hanelle was feeling. Happy to receive so many compliments.

'You did well', 'smart as a mother', 'pretty proud of you', 'you're so talented......

Hanel...'

Yes, Hanelle. The talented Hanelle, the smart Hanelle, the cute Hanelle, the cheerful Hanelle..... Why is the world centered on Hanelle? While Herina was just like an invisible shadow behind Hanelle who stood confidently.

Not noticeably, tears dripped in his hand that was washing the dishes slowly. Herina did not cry, you could say that because she just stared blankly at the plate she was washing and unconsciously her tears just flowed. Herina wiped her tears with her sleeves. A little lucky to also have long hair to cover his face.

Hanelle again. Herina was tired of hearing that name. Even if Herina was given the option of choosing to hear Hanelle or Edwin - - the man in her class who used to bother her --, Herina would emphatically prefer Edwin of course. Does Herina love her sister? Hell, of course. But Herina is still in the phase of trying to love Hanelle because honestly, Herina is not too fond of the girl's temperament which is flat, can not be silent, always fight, and also a little disrespectful.

And that is also the basis of Herina's question, why is Hanelle more loved than Herina who is clearly a much better attitude than Hanelle?

Of course many people will answer "it's because Hanelle was a child." Yeah, indeed. But at least I don't have to blame Herina for all the mistakes Hanelle made, do I? It was as if Herina was born indeed to bear the fault of her sister.

When the laundry was a little, his father came with a pile of dishes and a few bowls and spoons. Hey, didn't even Herina try the food they brought, but it's over again? And most upset him, he did not try his food, but had to wash his dishes. It's totally unfair.

"Break up dong Rin." Said her father while patting Herina on the shoulder several times. Herina smiled faintly then shook her head slowly.

"Stang, yeah." Reply Herina. His father nodded and left.

"Hanelle is unfortunately the same mother, does not love the father." Hanelle said as her father came from the kitchen.

'Have caper.' Herina's mind is upset.

"Why?" Ask mother.

"Dad smelled armpit." His speech was plain and then laughed at by his mother and also got the naughtiness from his father.

"See, I won't be fat anymore." Her father's joke returned Hanelle's words.

For some reason, hearing them laugh like that without Herina making it seem alienated, is true, right? Herina secretly laughed silently but at the same time her tears came down making anyone confused and unable to decide if Herina was laughing or crying. If guess laughs happily, maybe not. Because in his expression there were only thousands of wounds. That one tear, it contained thousands of wounds.

Hanelle, you're so lucky.

Actually having a sister is not that bad if parents give the same treatment. Just because Herina is a quiet, intelligent person and a cheerful person but not very intelligent does not mean they have to build a barrier between them and Herina, right?

So then... What else must Herina do to have at least father and mother pay attention to her?

After she finished washing the dishes, Herina returned to her room and closed the door. Hanelle spoke to her mother.

"Hanelle wants a marker to have Ina buu's sister..." Said.

Then before long, mother came to her room and approached Herina who was already sitting at the study table. Unforgivable, mother took a black marker in the place of Herina's pencil and turned to get out.

Herina grieved, if she gave the request to her mother, there was only she was advised to go all out because she wanted other people's goods.

But it turns out his mother who heard the cryan interpreted something else.

"Kok you're Rin's the same mother? I guess that doesn't need it." Said his mother while coming out and closed the door quite hard.

I swear, whatever Herina did to herself, not to insult her mother. Herina was grieving for herself. He underestimated himself because whatever he did, it would never be of any use to his father and mother.

Herina nodded in disbelief. Well, it looks like this misunderstanding will last a long time. After all, that remark was really a reflex coming out of his mouth. At first Herina only intended to laugh disdainfully, to herself naturally. But what came out was an insulting complaint that made his mother misunderstand.

If Herina and her mother's relationship deteriorates after this, Herina is sure she will hate Hanelle with all her heart.

"If you are tired of learning, Jawah. Just rest. Don't vent to others." Her mother's scream outside made Herina snort in disbelief.

Hey, Herina studied with all her heart without feeling tired though. Even if Herina felt tired, she would sleep a few minutes to calm her mind. But these? Why did his mother conclude? Even her mother never asked Herina the situation all this time. What do you know about her?

Said his mother earlier including things that Herina hated from mother. Always compared to her, until in all-out satire that clearly Herina was not fond of the way her mother spoke it.

Herina's tears came back in her book. At a time like this, Herina wanted to know what difficulties are being experienced by the people around her. Instead of wanting to compare and claim Herina's experience was the worst of them all, was not it. But Herina wanted to realize that other people had also experienced difficulties like Delia earlier. So, Herina can't give up yet, can't give up.

In that instant, Herina was crying out but trying not to make a sound. Because holding the cry is more painful than trying not to make a sound when crying. Herina grabbed her phone and tuned the song that had been accompanying her so that her crying voice was not too heard. No more dream, it seems suitable to entertain him.

Half the song has been played but Herina's memory is also still twisted events a few minutes ago. Oh... Why does an energetic song like this sound mellow now??

Especially in some parts, such as...

"Geojismal-iya, you such a wild. See me see me yeah, wiseonjaya neon ." Herina muttered one of her lyrics with tears that would not stop.

'If you are tired of learning, jaudah. Just rest. Don't vent to others.'

Herina hit the table a little hard. Remembering her mother's words made Herina slowly hate her mother. Why should it be related to learning if Herina's problem is her own sister?

Herina even prefers learning than having to babysit her sister who will always end up bad. But why don't they understand?
