Ch 61 — Monster Attack

Hey Yo, long time no see. This Ch 61 is actually just for inserts for this month. The author must delay for daily updates, possibly the slowest daily update in January. You see December author will test so make daily updates will be difficult. This is also the only chapter that the author wrote in this month (because the author is interested in ampe forgot to make a nulic chapter for this novel, as a result the author even just wrote the plot doang wkwkwkwk).

A few days passed when Tohrei and Ikumi arrived in the city. They smoothly lived their adventurous lives in that city.

They were currently in the adventurer guild. They're just about to take on a mission for today. Tohrei who was looking through the mission poster on the guild board sighed. He stared at a card containing his identity as an adventurer

“Hah..., continuing to be in this ranking will not improve my experience. Is there any way to improve my ranking faster?” Tohrei muttered while staring at the card. He does not get significant experience if he continues to be in rank E. A few days ago they from rank F rose level to rank E. But there was not much he could get from those two ranks.

Tohrei could only stare blankly at the mission poster that he desperately wanted to live with. But the mission he wants to live is a mission that can not be run by adventurers with rank like them.

“Master, what are you thinking?” Ikumi who noticed Tohrei looked curious.

“Ah, it's nothing, we better find a suitable mission for us, E rank mission only a little.” Tohrei continued his mission search.

But when Tohrei intended to do that, the guild door was broken and the person who broke into it shouted in panic.

“This is so bad!! There is something not far from the city.., ukh.” The person wanted to continue the explanation but the wound on his body made him have to stop talking. His body had to be knee-deep to endure the pain.

“Hei what's wrong? Speak slowly, what makes you rush into this?” An adventurer helped that person to stand up.

After being helped by him, the person then gave an explanation. “There are hordes..., there are hordes of monsters that lead here!”

‘Monster hordes? Looks like there will be an interesting event.’ Tohrei smiled faintly.

“Monster hordes? What do you mean?” Instantly he became serious. The people in the guild couldn't think this was just a joke. If this is a joke there is no way that the wound of the person who entered was this severe.

“When I went on a mission not far from the city, I met a monster and had to face him and ended up with severe injuries. Just when I defeated that monster, I saw a horde of monsters heading towards the city. I also immediately went to report here with heavy injuries.” Evidently.

“That's a very small possibility, different monsters gathered it's very unlikely, their differences are unlikely to be able to unite them. “Unfortunately I don't know, all I can guess is that the monsters I'm fighting are also controlled monsters. It contains a symbol that seems to be a sign of binding.” That person could only shake his head slowly because he did not know the answer.

“It's okay, the important thing is that you survived and delivered this news. Call the healer here, please heal him.” The guild owner called out a healer to that person.

“For all the adventurers who are here! Defend city! The rest evacuate citizens, also tell the mayor about this. This is an emergency mission! Those who have a big contribution will get a reward that is worth.” Beriane ordered the entire adventurer.

The adventurers immediately carried out their duties. They immediately went out of the guild building. Along with this emergency mission, the sky had darkened.

“It could have been more serious than I thought.” Beriane frowned.

“Good Master.” Ikumi followed TohTohr

“Goblin, Direwolf, Basilisk, Troll, and Titan. They number so much, I'm not sure the adventurers in this city are able to face them all.” Tohrei used his skill to see the monsters more clearly.

Tohrei along with Ikumi stood on top of the city wall. Tohrei saw below there were dozens of adventurers, they prepared in front of the city gate to face the monsters that were about to invade.

“They're coming! Everyone get ready!” Bearine who led the adventurers gave orders. The adventurers were immediately on standby.

When the monsters were close enough, Bearine gave an attacking order. “For the witches! Attack them with your long-range magic! Archers help witches attack!”

The witches followed the decree, they cast their magic on the monsters. However, their attacks only partially subverted.

Bearine not only gave orders, she also attacked.

“!”

Bearine cast her magic. A huge magic circle was created above the monsters. From the magic circle came out a meteor that shot down.

Booms!

The meteor hit the monsters, though only partially hit. The Bearine defeated not even half of the monster horde. The monster did not stop moving. They are still moving towards the city.

“Sounds like it didn't stop them.” Bearine immediately prepared to relaunch her magic.

“It's time for us to perform? Let's go down Ikumi.” Tohrei descended from the top of the wall followed by Ikumi.

They came down and appeared in front of the adventurers casually. The adventurers who saw them were surprised because the adventurers did not feel at all the presence of Tohrei and Ikumi.

“What are you doing? Back away! It's too dangerous!” Bearine gives a warning to Tohrei and Ikumi.

“Dangerous?” Tohrei muttered that word while smiling faintly staring at the monsters intensely.

“.” Tohrei activated his skill. Instantly most of the monsters floated in the air and gathered into a huge ball. The monsters became crammed into each other as they were pressed into a ball.

“Majulah Ikumi.” Tohrei gave orders to Ikumi while still maintaining his telekinesis.

“Good Master!” Ikumi shot forward at high speed. He held the katana sword in his hand.

Ikumi thrust out her sword and instantly the group of monsters that had gathered into a ball were now slashed hundreds to thousands of times. As a result, their body parts are divided into thousands of pieces.

Ikumi returned quickly after launching an attack. Tohrei had already removed his hyper telekinesis once Ikumi finished slashing.

“Good work Ikumi, leave the rest to me.”

Bearine is stunned to see the power of Tohrei and Ikumi. Doing something like that is not easy. If it was him, he would at least need to use almost half an MP(magic power/mana point). Even the meteors he had touted earlier had already consumed a lot of MP. “Who are the two of them?”
