The Endless System
Ch 150 — Diary

Tohrei's long passageway through. He walked the road with a lonely situation accompanying him. Only the sound of his feet could he hear.

Tohrei stopped his steps when he saw a staircase had been clearly visible in front of him. Looking up, Tohrei realized that what was up there was a forest.

“Is it Evolia forest?” Tohrei muttered, thinking that the forest was a familiar forest in his memory.

Evolia Forest is a forest located between the Ruby Kingdom and Aelion Empire. This forest has no dangerous monsters, it is perfect for peaceful living.

Tohrei can remember that the forest was where he lived before the mansion owned by his family and he was transferred to Ashfriet forest.

For some reason, Tohrei never saw anyone other than himself set foot in the forest of Evolia, except for the moment where Eriana escaped from the pursuit of a monster and then arrived in the forest.

Tohrei thought perhaps the reason no one set foot into the Evolia forest was because the land was already claimed so no one was foolish enough to enter it except as a crossing path.

Tohrei walked through the stairs. Now, the appearance of the forest is increasingly clear in Tohrei's vision. It was together with a light that was a little glare illuminated his place of minimal light.

“This term is really forest Evolia.” After passing through the stairs, Tohrei was able to confirm that this forest was really an Evolian forest. The types of trees here are really the same as those in Evolia, in contrast to Ashfriet forest which is a darker type of tree.

It feels a bit strange because the journey from Heistihart to this forest should not be a moment. Tohrei felt that there was a teleportation magic in the escape passageway so that it could make him quickly head here.

The wind blew, hitting the trees. This feeling made Tohrei nostalgic. Although this was just a gust of wind that could be felt anywhere, Tohrei somehow felt nostalgic.

Since Tohrei had already confirmed that this was the forest of Evolia, he was now thinking of returning to Heistihart to chat for a while with Alisa before going to Dezalene Kingdom.

However, before he could turn around, a voice appeared to catch his attention.

“Miaww~!”

Tohrei averted his gaze, looking at an adult black cat walking towards him.

“Huh? This cat ..” Tohrei remembered the past.

In the past, he once saved a stray cat whose leg was injured. He bandaged the cat's wound with Eriana. At that time the black cat was very small.

Tohrei stroked the cat's head, realizing that the cat was unmistakably the cat he and Eriana saved. The sign of the wound that was still in use made him sure of it. The black cat itself also seems to recognize Tohrei as well.

The thing that makes him confused is the age of this cat that can be this long even in the wild.

“I have to go now, sorry for not being able to take too long here.” Tohrei said goodbye to the cat before turning around and leaving the forest.

Tohrei went to Alisa's residence through the window, making Alisa a little surprised.

“How? Have you been able to obtain the right to become a substitute leader? If not, I can help you.” Tohrei offers help to prevent Alisa from handing over the power of this country to her again.

“Really fast ... so I guess I have no business here right?” Tohrei slightly gasped at Alisa's statement.

The information path owned by Alisa seems to be very fast to be able to do that in just a few hours. Or it seems that maybe Alisa had already planned this in advance.

“I wish you could stay here longer, but I think it will only make you bother, then how else.” Alisa shook her head, feeling that there was indeed no way to make Tohrei stay here any longer.

Alisa seemed to make a sad face that felt contrived, as if she wanted to draw sympathy from Tohrei.

“Why do you look so sad? If you want to tell me something or visit you can go to Dezalene Kingdom, well I have to go now so drug.” After that, Tohrei left.

One reason that made Tohrei want to leave immediately was because he wanted to see the diary of his mother that he suspected was stored inside the mansion.

To speed up, Tohrei left using teleportation and immediately headed for his mansion. Most likely the diary was stored in his mother's room, a room that Tohrei never even entered except at certain times.

“Excuse Mother ..” Tohrei entered the room, looking at the view of the room that still looks clean and comfortable even though it has never been inhabited again for years.

The room was simply a memory room that would never be reused for sleep. Tohrei was actually a little heavy-hearted to come here because this was the room of his mother, someone who already did not occupy this room.

In the room was a pair of tables and chairs, a book lying there with a quill pen whose ink was dry.

Tohrei walked towards the table, sat down on the chair and curiously read the book. What is written on the cover of the book is called "Daily book".

“This thought was mom's diary.” Tohrei had seen his mother write in this book long ago.

Tohrei opened the first page, containing a diary that looked familiar. But Tohrei paid little attention to the small details of the paper that became the main material of the pages of this book.

Although it is decades old, this book still looks quite new, there is not the slightest sign of this paper becoming yellow or termite-eaten. After noticing those details, Tohrei started reading the contents of the book.

The book began to be written when her mother was a teenager, a bored girl in the palace, Elicia Von Evilia.

Once, Elicia was on her way somewhere, but was ambushed by a group of bandits. It was a crucial moment because his guard was losing stamina after fighting monsters.

Amidst the precarious situation, a black-haired young man came to his rescue. He is named Rito Yuusei, a man with a mysterious origin.

The story in this diary more or less contains the life of Elicia who approaches with Rito, the father of Tohrei.

Tohrei enjoys this a little, a cliche royal romance story. The thing that made him not expect was that this was a true story from the lives of his two parents.

After the terrible events that occurred in the Evilia Kingdom, the contents of this diary turn to his life caring for his son, Tohrei.

Through this notebook, Tohrei becomes aware of Elicia's thoughts when taking care of her who is a reincarnator.

The book ends when Elicia writes the last message before dying from her illness. Tohrei felt hollow when he finished reading that.
