Ch 39 — Sweet Kiss
Time passed quickly. Ifrit and the others went to the dining room and had breakfast together. Only Tohrei did not have breakfast, it was certainly because he had already had breakfast before.
After that Tohrei returned to one of the rooms. It was the room where Ryui was. Tohrei intends to check the situation there.
As soon as he entered he was greeted by Ryui's state of exhaustion after doing something.
‘It looks like he's trying to escape.’
“Hwa?! What are you doing here?!” Ryui only realized Tohrei's whereabouts moments later.
“You seem exhausted after trying to escape huh?”
“A..what do you mean?! Don't ask me!” Ryui embarrassedly and angrily spouted fire magic at Tohrei. The fire he was burning was quite large.
“Splitting fire at me? What the fuck?” Tohrei pointed his hand forward.
“” He wonders if the skill gluttony works against magic.
Ryui's magic is absorbed into Tohrei's hands. Tohrei wants to try out the gluttony skill to Ryui's magic.

‘Oh~? The skill I absorbed would be a point if the skill I previously had. Pulling.’
“Why?! Whyyy?! I should be stronger than a human! Ah already! I surrender!” Ryui looked pouted. She sadly and resentfully walked into her bed and covered herself with a blanket.
‘Lah...? She gave up..?’
Ryui felt ashamed, as no dragon was able to defeat him. He was so low on the creatures below. But once he met Tohrei, he was defeated so easily. He's never felt this shy.
“What? What's the reason you locked me up?!”
“Instead of locking up, I rather want to cure you. I put you here just in case my mansion isn't destroyed. Well, more than that there's another underlying reason why I brought you.”
“Hmpp! A. I don't want to know at all! Sana go if there is no business.” Ryui said it stammeringly.
‘Clearly she wants to know..,’
“The reason I brought you here is to bond with you. Actually I don't want to be hostile to you at all, than that why don't we just be friends?”
“Hah..., well, you do seem difficult to talk to ya...., then I pamit~” Tohrei bluffing will get out of the room.
“Ah! Waita minute! De...listen to me first!” Somehow Ryui tries to stop Tohrei from getting out.
“What?”
“I mean I did not want to have a bond as a friend.”
“Terus?”
“Ba...what if we have more ties than that?”
“Yeah, I don't think it's a problem.” Tohrei doesn't know the bond Ryui means. Perhaps more than that is as a friend.
“But there is one condition.”
“Hm? What terms?”
Ryui suddenly removed the blanket and walked towards Tohrei. He's so close! But strangely he did not emit any killing intent at all.
‘I've decided! I'll make him my partner! I.. It's not because I love her! This is because I need it for evolution to become a true dragon!’ Ryui decides to make Tohrei his partner through what the couple used to do.
Ryui pulls Tohrei's collar and tiptoes. His face looks very close to him. Ryui kissed Tohrei's lips just like that without him noticing. A moment of bright light emerged from Ryui's body. The light then faded away and disappeared.
As soon as Tohrei realized he was being kissed, he immediately took off the kiss and held onto both of Ryui's shoulders. “Hoi! What are you doing?”
Tohrei is shocked to see Ryui unconscious. “Hah..., what exactly did that kiss mean?” Tohrei then carried Ryui like a princess.
[That means he wants you to be his partner.]
“System? why did you suddenly say that?!”
“That's better I lay Ryui, it looks like she's not doing well.” Tohrei put Ryui on her bed and put a blanket on her.
Tohrei then walked out of that room. ‘By the way I thought the kiss was sweet.’ Tohrei held the mark of the kiss earlier.
