Not the Perfect Wife

Not the Perfect Wife
89. S2 - Airin

After making a report, Aydin intended to return to his room. However, as he walked he saw the girl who had just hit him, being scolded by someone. It seems like he made a mistake, from which Aydin heard the girl had spilled coffee on top of an important document.

"You see this, my file was hit by coffee. Can you make it as it was? I can't, can you. Basic useless, I have to repeat my work because of you. Though this should be resolved immediately right now!" shouted a man, making the girl even lower.

"Sorry, Sir. I didn't mean it" said the girl in a soft voice and almost cried.

Aydin walked forward he wanted to help him, but suddenly Mr. Romi's voice called out to him. Make him immediately approach Mr. Romi and not so, help the girl earlier.

"What's up, sir?" ask Aydin.

"There's nothing. I just want to invite you to dinner at home" replied Mr. Romi.

"Thank you, sir, but I can't. Today is the anniversary of papa and Mommy's wedding. We want to celebrate in small, ordinary family dinners, sir," Aydin replied lying.

Aydin deliberately did that because he did not want to get caught up in the plans of this middle-aged man in front of him. The man knew very well what Mr. Romi meant by inviting him to dinner. It was not just an ordinary dinner, everything was done to match Aydin with his daughter.

Emran himself, never forced his son to accept the Matchmaking. He also did not refuse if Aydin did like Mr. Romi's daughter. The girl was also a kind and polite person. However, everything was handed back to his son.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot that today is Mr. Emran and Ms. Yasna's wedding anniversary. Well then, I can't force you to come. I went to see Mr. Emran first to wish him a happy birthday." Mr. Romi left Aydin alone.

Aydin exhaled, finally he could escape from Mr. Romi. Soon he returned to his room and forgot about the fate of the girl.

At lunch Aydin chose to go to the company cafeteria. After taking the food he saw, not a single table was empty. The man circulated his gaze and fixed on the girl this morning, who was eating alone. Aydin decided to approach him.

"Excuse me, Ma'am. Sorry, there is no empty table. Can I join?" ask Aydin.

"Please, the one I pushed this morning, right? Sorry again, yes, my mother."

"It's okay, forget it."

Aydin sat in front of the girl, she immediately enjoyed eating. The man looked at the plate in front of her, it turned out that the girl was just eating rice and eggs. Not wanting to ask, she continued eating her food, while occasionally glancing towards the girl.

"Sorry, Ma'am. We haven't met. What's the name?" ask Aydin.

"My name is Airin" the girl replied with a hand.

"Beautiful name," Aydin murmured involuntarily.

"Huh, what, Mas?" Airin gawked at hearing it.

"It's okay, our names are almost similar, I'm Aydin," Aydin replied with a welcoming hand of Airin

"Yes, Mas Aydin."

"Call Aydin only. You just worked here?"

"Yes, Mas. It's my first day, but it's already making a mess" Airin replied in a sad tone.

"What mess?"

"I accidentally spilled coffee on the map, he said the important document."

"Oh, it's okay. Next time be more careful when you work." Aydin tried to calm the girl down, he knew Airin was feeling very guilty.

"Yes, Mas" said Airin. They talked for a long time, until lunch time was running out.

"Let's lunch time soon. I went back to work first" Aydin said.

"Yes, Mas. I want to go back to work too."

Aydin left first, followed by Airin after.

When work came home, Aydin walked to the parking lot and when he was going to drive his motorcycle. He saw Airin by the side of the road, as if he was waiting for someone. Aydin approached him.

"Hi, Rin. Who are you waiting for?" ask Aydin.

"Do you want anterin?"

"It doesn't matter, Mas. I'm just waiting for the angkot."

"This hour angkot hard, you want to wait until what time? It's almost dusk." Airin looked around, it had indeed started to quiet down. After a few moments of thought, he accepted Aydin's offer.

"Alright, Mas. I want to, but my house is in a narrow alley, it's okay, Mas?" airin asked, she was afraid that Aydin would feel uncomfortable.

"It's okay. Go, up!"

Airin ride on top of Aydin motor. The man also propelled his motorcycle following the direction the girl pointed to. Quite far away Airin house, until they arrived in a small house made of woven bamboo. Seen there was a middle-aged woman sitting on the porch. He was waiting for Airin to arrive.

"Assalamualaikum, ma'am," said Airin. It turns out that woman was his mother.

"Waalaikumsalam" said the woman, Airin immediately kissed the back of his mother's hand.

Aydin got down and greeted Airin's mother. "Assalamualaikum, ma'am." He also cheered on Airin's mother.

"Go in, Mas. Let me make you a drink."

"No, you'll be waiting for me at home. Thanks for the offer."

"Thank you again, for delivering me."

"Yes, equally. Excuse me, assalamualaikum."

"Waalaikumsalam" said Airin and his mother.

Aydin rode on the motorbike and drove it towards his home. Long enough the man drove, until he reached home when Maghrib arrived.

"Assalamualaikum" Aydin said as soon as he entered the house.

"Waalaikumsalam, where have you been? I'll be home at this hour? why not send a message?" ask Yasna streak.

"Leave it, Mother. Brother is already big, he is looking for a daughter-in-law for mother," said Afrin who was next to his mother.

"At least he sent a message to Mommy, saying that he went on a date again so, Mommy is not worried."

Aydin snorted to hear his mother and sister quiping. He feels like lately everyone's been a bitch.

"Why silence? Right, yeah, another date with a girl?" asked Afrin to make sure because she saw her brother was silent.

"What the hell, no dates."

"Means Mother must bury Mother's desire to be able to ghost."

"It seems that Mother must always be alone" said Yasna in a sad tone made up.

"Mother by the way, there are still us who will always be there for Mother" said Aydin by hugging Yasna.

"Yes, Mother don't talk like that. If Mommy wants to go, I'm going to go, really." Afrin hugged Yasna.

Since her children decided to cover up their identity. Yasna could no longer walk with them. The reason for fear of being caught makes them reluctant to go with both parents and makes the woman feel alone.

"It's okay, Mother is just sensitive anymore. Usually Mother also goes with Rani," said Yasna smiling, she did not want to make her children sad. She will, however, support whatever decision her two children make.
