Chapter 17 - The Human World

Now that Dexter and Kath are left together, Rix and Lucifer leave because they have business they cannot leave behind.

"Where are you going, Kath?" Ask Dexter.

"I want to find something to eat, I'm hungry." Said Kath who was walking.

"Do you want an apple? Looks like there's an apple tree, " Dexter said, pointing out the apple tree.

"Apple? I'm a mixture of Vampires and Werewolves, I only eat flesh and blood." Kath was angry and hungry to be one.

"Are you very hungry?" Ask Dexter again.

"Stop asking, Don't you have any business to do?" Ask Kath back.

"No, I'm a very relaxed creature." Dexter's words made Kath turn her eyeballs.

"Do you want to go to the human world? There's a lot of good food" Dexter continued.

"No, thank you. Man is an evil creature, selfish only." Reject Kath. He recalled the time he was into the human world himself in mockery even they burned him. Because Kath's eyes suddenly turned red and orange.

"I promise I'll protect you." Dexter's Promise.

"You? Protecting me? Not likely. You're just a weak man I have to protect you." Said Kath facing Dexter while walking.

Kath still does not know Dexter is the King of Heaven and has very strong powers.

Kath crashes into a large tree, with Dexter quickly capturing Kath. Kath looked at Dexter, his heart racing. 'What is this? Why is my heart beating so hard.' Kath's mind stared at Dexter and held his heart

"I told you I'd protect you." Dexter said with a smile.

"But are you sure about your eyes like that?" Ask Kath who doubts it.

"Of course, I have strong senses." Answer Dexter.

"All right, I'm going to the human world. But promise me just a minute." Said Kath who remembered the last incident he was in the human world.

"All right,"

Walking into the human world, Dexter clasps Kath's hand so she doesn't get lost. Remembering Kath is very often the wrong focus when seeing things that attract his attention.

It was already late at night and they had just arrived to the human world. "Kath, focus on me." Said Dexter who felt Kath was looking the other way.

"But their clothes are very different from mine." Said Kath who kept looking at her clothes and human clothes.

Kath saw a lot of vehicles and a very tall building made him surprised. The clothes of humans and their clothes are very different. Kath wears old-fashioned dresses and they wear very fancy and nice clothes.

"I'll buy it for you, if you like it" Dexter said, holding Kath's hand tightly.

They went to a restaurant and were on the 32nd floor with a view of the skyscrapers.

"Well, that's beautiful. Look there Dexter." Amazed Kath who saw very bright lights in every building.

"I can't see, Kath." Dexter answered, breathing out.

"I'm sorry, I forgot." Kath felt guilty.

A waiter walked over to their table and delivered two steaks and a bottle of wine. Kath who saw the wine gulped her saliva and licked her lips.

"Please enjoy" said the waiter after putting the steak and wine on the table.

"Thank you" Dexter said.

Coughing Dexter who heard Kath's revelation, Dexter completely forgot about the incident. Instead of not intending to give, "Maybe he forgot." Dexter said as he cut up the steak and replaced the plate with a Kath plate.

"Maybe," answered Kath resignedly and put a piece of meat into his mouth.

"So son, I haven't eaten meat like this in a long time, I usually just eat fresh meat." Said Kath while licking her lips.

"If you like it, I'll bring you here every day" Dexter said, smiling at Kath.

The sound of lightning struck and the rain began to fall, "It seems like rain, we should spend the night in the human world." Dexter's voice heard the sound of lightning and rain.

"But, I'm scared. I'm not used to being in the human world." Said Kath, biting her lower lip.

"Just relax, I'll protect you." Dexter stroked Kath's head.

"Well," Kath followed Dexter's will.

Dexter takes it to one of the most luxurious and magnificent five-star hotels, with bright lights. Dexter walked over to the receptionist and booked a room.

"Is the human world this good?" Confused Kath who look around and compare when he was 5000 years old in the human world. It looks so different.

Dexter walked over to Kath, "There's only one room left, is it okay if we're rooming?" Dexter asked Kath.

"You know what else" Kath. Kath followed Dexter's footsteps, Dexter looks very memorized this place and the location of the road.

They arrived in one of the rooms, "It's a big place," amazed Kath who saw his hotel room.

"Wear this Kath, there's no way you're gonna sleep in a dress." Dexter's speech gives the pajamas a set of red colors.

Kath only saw the clothes Dexter gave her, the clothes were very different from the ones he used to wear. Kath is a very old-fashioned person who has not understood fashion at all and has only worn the same clothes for 20000 years. Just wearing her red old-fashioned royal dress.

"How do I wear it?" Kath asked confusedly looking at the pajamas Dexter had given her.

"Do you not know how to wear it? There are so many people who wear these clothes today." Dexter was puzzled when Kath asked him how to wear it.

"I don't know, I usually just wear a nightgown. Why are they separated?" Kath said confused from earlier seeing the pajamas given Dexter.

"Take off your dress, put this on first. It's called pants." Dexter said while holding Kath's pants and giving them to Kath.

"Already," said Kath when beehasil installed it.

"Then put this on and put this part in your head" Dexter said, pointing out the part.

Kath keeps trying and trying but it still doesn't work, "Can't" said Kath, who was already upset.

"Try it again" said Dexter.

"No way, what if you put it on?" Said Kath who was upset since earlier could not wear the right part.

"But I'm a man. It would be inappropriate if I put it on." Dexter was shocked by Kath's words.

"But you can't see me. So it's okay" Kath said. Dexter simply resigned and obeyed Kath. Dexter put Kath's head in, Kath just stayed motionless. He fumbled Kath's hand, "Get your hand in this hole." Dexter.

Kath's breath that kept blowing in the chest of Dexter's field, made Dexter a little amused. "Hurry up, next door again." Ask Kath.

Dexter fumbled from his head down onto Kath's shoulder and put Kath's hand in Kath's pajamas and finished.

"Roses, you are so fragrant roses. I can't take it anymore." Dexter approached Kath and hugged her tightly.
