Chapter 9 - Bamboo Forest

"Where is he now? It's been 3 months and you can't find him and how he was arrested while you were all in the palace. This is a very silly thing." Said a man who was angry at his subordinates.

"Rix, how can a Rix not find the woman he is looking for? It's not the women who are looking for you. You're famous for being the man who charms women's hearts." Max Rix's best friend.

Yes, the man who was angry with his subordinates was Rix. He's been searching for Kath ever since Kath was kidnapped by the Demon King.

And Max is Rix's best friend, they've been friends since childhood and they're almost like brothers rather than friends. Max knows all about Rix but not his love story. Because Rix is a man who often changes women. Too complicated for Max to follow Rix's love journey.

"You don't understand. That woman is the one I've been looking for all along. Only the woman can free him. Only that woman's one way she'll come back to life." Said Rix thinking about the woman he loved.

"Don't tell me you're still thinking about him. It's been 20 thousand years. There's no way he could come back to life." Said Max who felt his best friend was out of his mind.

"I know, but Kath has immortal blood on her body. Maybe he could come back to life. I don't care, I just want the woman I love to come back to life." Said Rix thinking about the woman he loved.

"But you're gonna make Kath lose all her power, if you bring her back to life. Why can't you let the woman you love go quietly." Max did not think.

"wallowed it? Are you crazy? Only he can accept me for who I am regardless of my status and he is one of the people who have always been there for me." Rix said sadly.

"But you must also think of that immortal blood woman." Resist Max who feels his friend is not sane.

"Do you know why he has eternal blood? Because he was born to be a victim." Said Rix whose mind was in turmoil.

"You're really late" said Max and left the room. He doesn't know what's on his best friend's mind right now. If he continued to argue with Rix, he would be even crazier than Rix.

"I'll step in to look for him." Rix said and walked out of the room.

"Prepare the troops." Rix said and deployed troops.

"Sister, where's Kath? I didn't see it from yesterday." Liora adek Lucifer. Liora returned to the palace after completing her mission in the human world.

"Maybe in the room." Said Lucifer who was still focusing on his paper.

"Nothing, Brother. I've already told the whole waiter to look for him. But still haven't found it." Liora said worriedly.

"Nothing?" Lucifer frowned. Lucifer hasn't seen her since Kath kissed her. But the one in Lucifer's brain may be ashamed to meet him after he kissed him.

"Did sister throw him out?" Liora asked suspiciously.

"No." Answer Lucifer.

"Soldier." Call Lucifer.

"Yes, Sir?" Speak to one of the soldiers while saluting.

"Give 5,000 men to find Kath." Lucifer's orders are gallant.

"How is this, brother? Kath is a man who knows no direction. He could not even distinguish right and left. He's a very, very directional blind man." Said Liora who was worried about Kath's state.

"Is he so stupid?" Ask Lucifer who is not in thought.

"Yes, Brother. He's strong, but when it comes to the direction of the road, he's very stupid." Liora answers Lucifer.

"Bother." Lucifer said with a strong breath.

"Find him." Lucifer's orders are seated on a horse.

Kath and Dexter are currently in a bamboo forest. Of course, Kath doesn't know how he got here. He just followed Dexter's footsteps.

"Why is it just bamboo? Boring once or are we lost?" Kath asked who was very confused by the road he took.

"Follow me, I'll take you somewhere." Said Dexter who kept going.

"I'm tired, can I rest here for a while?" Ask Kath who is tired.

"Alright," Dexter replied, Kath immediately sat down to relieve her fatigue.

"Finally." Kath was happy.

"Are you very tired?" Ask Dexter who feels Kath is very tired.

"Of course, I've been walking for 2 days. Aren't you tired?" Kath answered and asked back.

"Of course, no. I'm used to walking long distances." Answer Dexter.

"You're so good with your feet like that." Praise Kath who was impressed.

"It's time I checked your legs. Though I know I don't really understand about medicine." Kath continued smiling.

"Check that." Dexter.

Kath opened Dexter's foot bandage and was shocked, "How can your foot heal? Not even a bite." Surprised Kath saw Dexter's leg.

"Maybe because the plants are so potent " Dexter said. When Dexter has an incredible healing, he just wants Kath to care about him.

"Maybe." Say Kath plainly.

"I smell something of another race from the east and west. Looks like guest arrival tips." Dexter said and pulled Kath's hand.

"Don't you? why can't I feel it?" Kath asked who was trying to smell the scent from the west and east.

"I told you my sense of smell, my listeners and my feelings are very strong. I can already feel their presence from afar." Dexter.

"You're so great." Praise Kath.

"It seems they're approaching. " Say Dexter stood up and followed Kath.

"It looks like the Demon King and the King of mythological creatures will arrive soon." Dexter said casually.

"Lucifer and Rix?" Guess Kath.

From the west Rix and his army ran towards Kath and from the east Lucifer and his army moved towards Kath.

"I'll take you away" Dexter said, flapping his white wings. Dexter raised Kath with one hand and took her flying.

Lucifer and Rix, who see Kath, are taken away by Dextee, flapping their wings. Lucifer flapped his black wings and Rix flapped his red wings. They quickly fly towards Kath to take Kath back.

"No, I don't want to fly." Jerit Kath who is currently in Dexter's arms.
