Chapter 18 - Silver Bullet

"Pardon me, I didn't mean to." Dexter let go of his embrace.

"Just calm down, I'm fine. Do you want a hug from me?" Ask Kath innocently who thinks Dexter wants to be hugged. Dexter nodded his head

Kath gave her a warm hug. 'It was a long time ago when someone hugged me.' Inner Dexter who felt Kath's warm embrace.

Dexter bowed his head and kissed Kath. Kath simply smiled, "Did I remind you of someone?" Kath looked at Dexter. Dexter just nodded his head.

"It's time to rest." Dexter lets go of hugs and lays down on the bed.

"It's like I'm sleeping on the couch" said Kath, who feels bad about sleeping in bed with a man. He had slept with Lucifer.

"Alright," replied Dexter and closed his eyes asleep. Kath sleeps on a red sofa.

In the middle of the night, Kath wakes up and is on a bed that makes Kath turn her eyes. 'Did I sleep while walking? How can I be on the bed?' Inner Kath felt a hug from Dexter that was very tightly wrapped around her waist.

Kath releases Dexter's embrace and walks out of the room without a sound, not wanting to disturb Dexter who is asleep. Kath wants to enjoy the night air in the human world, she walks out of a hotel room and breathes in the air and releases it.

'A very cold air, ' Inner Kath. His eyes continued to look at the very fast car and his eyes were fixed on a boy who was in the middle of the road. Kath quickly ran towards the little boy and hugged him tightly to protect him.

The car crash and Kath, it's making a really strong noise. Of course, Kath's body is fine. But the car that hit Kath had a very severe malfunction. All eyes were on Kath who was completely unharmed, "Are you okay?" Kath asked the boy and looked at him with a worried look.

"I'm fine, thank you." He looked at Kath's beautiful eyes.

"Good,"

"How can the girl be okay?" Ask a woman who looks at Kath.

"D-He's a-stealth," Shouted a man staring fearfully at Kath and made the other humans panic.

Screams after screams rang out, fear enveloping the humans. The humans took tools to protect themselves and tried to corner Kath.

"I'll protect you, just like you protected me." Saying the little boy fearlessly and stretching out his hands, Kath simply stroked the little boy's head and smiled.

Several police cars have come and taken guns pointing at Kath. "Take the kid off" said a policeman who pointed a gun at Kath and was preparing to shoot her.

Kath aligned herself with the little boy in front of her, "Do you want to protect me?" asked Kath, the little boy just nodding his head.

"Get out of here" Tell Kath.

The little boy nodded his head and walked towards the police, "Don't shoot him, sir. He saved me, sir." Said the little boy, pulling the police shirt that was pointing a gun at Kath.

Dorr....

"Ahhh" Ringis Kath was in pain, this was the first time she had felt pain during her life. How could he feel pain? Does this have anything to do with the ice crystals he touched? or because this is a silver decays?

Kath changed her colors to orange and red to protect herself.

Dorr..... Dorr....

Kath wanted to protect herself, but the pain she felt made her unable to move. Looking at the bullet, a man came and hugged Kath to protect her. "Where have you been?" Ask Dexter worried. Dexter blocked the bullet with his steel body.

Dexter felt emotions that culminated in his collapse, when he saw Kath kesatkitan, "WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING?" Dexter's emotions are mounting.

In the human world, Dexter is someone who is very famous for his success and good looks. This made everyone greatly admire him, even all humans knew him. The only drawback is his eyes.

"T-mister Dexter," The policeman who shot Kath saw Dexter with a frightened face.

When he arrives at his castle, "Bradley, get all the doctors here." Dexter's orders tell Bradley, Dexter's right-hand man.

One of the doctors examined Kath and another doctor tried to remove an iron bullet from Kath's body.

After 2 days the doctors finally managed to cure Kath, because his eternal blood made the doctors can cure him faster.

"Why is it all this time?" Dexter said as he ruffled his hair. One of the doctors came out of the room Kath was in, "He's fine" the doctor said. Dexter quickly ran into the room and saw Kath.

Dexter clasped Kath's hand tightly and stroked Kath's hair, "Pardon me, I didn't manage to protect you." Dexter whispers to Kath who is still unconscious.
