Dian used to say that Rea was deliberately to bring them together, but he quibbled if it was not just from a business relationship. Now Rea admitted it.
Although it can't be a cure, at least he has to find something to treat his daughter and Nico is the solution he can get.
"Mama was angry at your father and grandfather who were too loud. Mama's pissed at him for making you tormented. Mama's almost crazy every time she thinks about it— mama wants to make you better for them to stop."
Unknowingly, he made himself one of those who became a wound for his daughter.
"Mama's really sorry, Dian. Mama doesn't care if you want to take it or not, the most important thing is that you're free of wounds, that's all." Rea's voice almost whispered.
With her hands still shaking Rea began to embrace her daughter's pretty face and looked at her full of adoration.
"My beautiful daughter! You're Mama's daughter. She will always be my little girl. Look at this hair, it fits you perfectly. You fit into any look."
Something being held back finally seeped out from the corner of Dian's eyes. Since then he had been trying to resist the rumbling that peaked in his chest.
Rea's words may evoke the childish side in Dian who craves the figure of a mother with her affection and tenderness.
Dian hugged her mother tightly and sobbed quite strongly on Rea's shoulders.
"Don't cry— don't cry for me anymore." Although Rea said so, he did not stop sobbing with Dian. The sound of Dian's cries faltering signifies how hurt this girl is.
"You're not a mistake— your presence is not a mistake. Sorry to ever say so— Mama .. bad mother!" his stuffing landed a lot of kisses on his daughter's head.
"Say— just tell me what Dian wants to say. Mama will hear whatever it is." Rea let Dian lean on her shoulder while tidying up Dian's short hair.
Dian can only sob. Every word that came out of her mother's mouth made her heart feel tight. Could this be a sign that he is starting to make peace with the situation?
"Dian—"
"It's okay, just move on," Rea said softly.
"Dian— misses Mama."
"Sorry— forgive, Mama." Rea's getting sobbing. He stroked Dian's back which was still shaking.
"Your back— how's your back?" Rea took off Dian's embrace and forcibly opened her daughter's shirt. He remembered something again.
"Yes Lord—" Rea shut her mouth. Increasingly wide gaping guilt and heartache after seeing Dian's back that there are many scars elongated.
"You must be in pain, right?"
Outside, someone sobbed to watch the mother and child after undoing his intention to enter. Serena hit his chest a few times because of her stuffing.
He's involved in Dian's heartache, right? If she hadn't run away with her husband, Dian wouldn't have felt something like this. He never hated or blamed her. Even so, not forever he can close his eyes due to his mistakes.
Removing her tears, Serena decided to leave after putting Dian's favorite chocolate cake setoples on the nightstand.
"Sera?"
Vira who came out of the room accidentally passed Serena. Vira was surprised to see his face.
"I brought Dian's favorite chocolate cake. Please give him later." Touching Vira's shoulder.
Vira wants to talk again but is undone, seeing Serena seems unwilling to answer anything. After Dian's older sister disappears behind the elevator, Vira moves to Dian's room which is not far from her place.
Now Vira understands. He already knew a lot about Dian including family matters. Six years is not a short time. That's why he was standing next to Dian accompanying the poor woman.
Hope you find some more light in your family, Dian.
Forgiveness cannot heal wounds, but it can make us calmer. Dian needed that given her unkind inner condition.
