MNB CHAPTER 49 - New Secretary
Keenan pondered alone in the seat of sin, thinking how foolish it had been. He couldn't imagine Sebastian and Luke's faces laughing at him.
Before long he heard Silver calling his name from outside.
"Kee... Kee.." cried Silver called his son.
Inevitably, Keenan came out of the room of the seat of sin and came to the mother.
"What's up, Mom?" ask Keenan.
"What's that?" point Silver at some cardboard dropped by an online courier.
"Oh, that's my underwear supply for the next year" Keenan replied casually.
"W-what?" Silver stammered, he drank a full glass of water immediately because of hiccups.
"Mom, I've decided something after reflecting on all my sins" Keenan said.
Keenan brought Silver to sit on the dining table chair.
"I decided to live alone so let me get out of the mansion" Keenan said.
"Are you sure?" silver asked doubtfully.
"If I keep this up, I won't be able to change" Keenan said.
Actually Grey had talked about this before. Perhaps by living separately, Keenan will be able to be independent.
"If you need anything, call mommy!" silver said then.
"I don't need any help, I can solve my own problems" Keenan said confidently.
Finally, Silver allows his son to live alone in an apartment.
Keenan's belongings were soon packed as were his underwear which was boxy.
Keenan didn't go to the office for a few days because Grey banned him. Grey wants news about Bella to dampen first let alone the value of the stock that almost fell because of the news.
"Just calm down, Dad. This time daddy definitely does not need headache medicine anymore," said Keenan full of determination.
Moreover, there is happy news from Flo, it turns out that Flo is positively pregnant after her return from the island of Borgia.
"Based on the backwoods, you're telling me daddy's old, huh?" ketus Greys.
Both are currently making video calls.
"The pedro will be at your apartment soon!" connect Grey while closing the call.
And within minutes, Keenan's apartment bell rang. Keenan immediately opened the door and found the mature man standing gallantly.
"Include me Pedro, your new secretary. Mr. Grey ordered me to come here" said the man, introducing himself.
Keenan. "Well, your job now is to make an agenda for me!"
"Good, Boss." Pedro rushed into the apartment and he felt shocked to see the messy condition of the apartment.
"Ah, I was just learning how to cook eggs. I just found out that cooking eggs should open the shell" Keenan explained.
"Living independently is difficult! You have to arrange my laundry, clean the apartment and eat me!"
Pedro scratched his head that was not itchy due to Keenan's orders. But it's better than the rumours that have spread about Tessa's previous job.
"Good, Boss. Leave everything to me" said Pedro.
Keenan so misses Tessa, she's used to getting angry with Tessa so getting a submissive secretary makes it a little weird.
"If there's something you don't like about me, you can honestly say, Ped. Don't hesitate" Keenan said later.
"Really, Boss?" ask Pedro to make sure.
"Of course, I like honest words more than you talk about me from behind,"
"Actually I've been working with Mr. Grey for quite a while, when I got word of my rise to office, I was delighted. But it turns out his rise to office was to be your secretary so I feel unlucky,"
"I'm taking my word, you're lying rather than being honest,"
"I'm sorry, Boss. Then I'll just lie. You look so authoritative!"
"Well, that's much better!"
