MNB CHAPTER 4 - The Only One
The next morning, Keenan woke up and was shocked to find his entire body bound. He panicked himself.
"Tessa... Tessa.." yelled Keenan calling his secretary.
Before long Tessa entered the room with a sour face.
"Awake? Sleep sound?" tessa asked full of scorn, she still clearly remembered the moment Keenan was swaying her body. But she cursed him because the man was also unconscious.
Tessa approaches and unbinds Keenan's body.
"You should be grateful to me because I saved you from the brink of death!" dejected Keenan.
"What is the death of?" ask Tessa who doesn't understand.
"Your ex-boyfriend is married, isn't he? I'm afraid you killed yourself!" Keenan took out what was in his head.
"God! So this is why you tied me up last night? Listen to me Keenan Ocean Hoult, I am not such a narrow-minded person! I am a person who values myself more than anything!" firmly Tessa.
Keenan nodded his head. "Leg it tastes! I don't want to bother looking for a new secretary!"
"Say you're dependent on me, boss. Even your underwear, I bought it!" sindir Tessa's.
"Ah, if it is, I feel ashamed buying underwear!" Keenan gave the reason.
" The one who's ashamed should be me, Boss!" pissed Tessa.
Tessa throws a towel at Keenan and asks his boss to take a shower.
"Dress and hurry home, boss. Good thing it's weekend so we're off work!" he added.
"So it's been the weekend, huh? Where's my phone?" Keenan searched his phone and saw a group chat notification asking him to hangout. "Because I was busy working and preparing for the project, I forgot about my pleasure!"
"The rich man from birth must have been like that" Tessa murmured.
While waiting for Keenan to take a bath and prepare, Tessa continued her cooking that she was staying in as Keenan called out to her earlier.
Tessa who is used to living independently so good at processing food. She cooked two portions for him and also Keenan.
"Boss, the food is ready! And quickly get out of my apartment!" said Tessa calling Keenan.
Keenan was forced to wear his clothes again, he planned not to go home so he had to ask Tessa to buy him underwear and clothes.
"I don't want to!" reject Tessa firmly.
"You dare refuse your boss' orders, huh? There are additional bonuses when you work this weekend," said Keenan insisted.
"I have a life, too, Boss. For these 3 years, I didn't take any time off so now I want to live my life! I'm going on a date with Kevin!" obviously Tessa.
Keenan was shocked to hear that, of course he knew who Kevin was. The man was his personal assistant, his brother's former fiancee. Tessa used to be involved with Kevin because there was a problem between her brother and her fiance. Keenan had no idea that Tessa was in a relationship until now.
"You're actually dating Kevin? It's just an impingement because your ex-boyfriend got married, right?" ask Keenan to make sure.
"It's none of your business, boss. I never interfere in your personal affairs so you don't interfere in my personal affairs!" firmly Tessa.
"Of course it's my business that you get hurt like your ex-boyfriend did!" keenan. I don't know why Keenan doesn't like to hear Tessa date.
"I'm not a whiny woman like the woman you sleep with, Boss! So no need to worry about me!" sahut Tessa's. He still appreciated Keenan's attention to her.
"Then from that..." Keenan was confused himself. "You're the only woman I've never lied to so I don't want you being lied to by other men!"
