MNB CHAPTER 115 - The Last

As scheduled, Pedro picked up his boss today at the honeymoon venue Keenan and Tessa. But, on the way Pedro brought the two to meet Flo and Axe who were going to leave for France.

"My sister's grown up now, take care of mommy and daddy, okay." Flo hugs Keenan with teary eyes.

"Just calm down, brother. Trust me, come back when Raphael's cousin is born" said Keenan, who refused to take off his brother's arms.

"That's for sure" Flo said with ruckus. He had always liked Keenan who had such a high level of confidence.

While Tessa hugged the body of Raphael's bully, the boy was apparently also reluctant to leave his extended family.

"Raphael has to obey daddy and mommy, okay" Tessa said.

"Okay, but promise me Aunty won't cry anymore" Raphael still remembered Tessa who kept crying during the miscarriage.

"Aunty's no longer a crybaby so don't worry" Tessa replied.

Then with a heavy heart, Keenan and Tessa wave as Flo's little family enters the car that takes them to the airport.

"Mommy and daddy will be lonely because Raphael is far away from them" Tessa commented.

"Therefore, we must be diligent in making Kessa Mark II, Mark III and so on," said Keenan who likes to fantasize about having many children.

"Based on a delusional artisan" said Tessa, embracing Keenan's arm. "Let's go home!"

After the honeymoon, Tessa does the usual routine as well as Keenan.

Early in the morning, Tessa would wake up to prepare for breakfast and her husband's work needs.

"Darling, which black checkered das of mine?" ask Keenan who is on the walk in closet.

"Black color is a lot, which boxes seem to still be in the laundry," said Tessa while following her husband. "A plain gray or black color is also good to match the suit!"

Tessa then chose a tie for Keenan but the man continued to be restless.

"Why?" ask Tessa when she wakes up.

Without Tessa guessing, Keenan dropped his head on his shoulder just as he used to when the man was nervous.

"Daddy held a board meeting today and I...."

Before Keenan finished his sentence, Tessa interrupted while holding her husband's head up.

"You can do it, boss. Believe in yourself as always" Tessa said.

Keenan gave his wife a big kiss that morning.

When he reached the office, Keenan tried to be calm when entering the meeting room. All the board of directors gathered there including Grey.

Keenan's nervousness soon sets in as Grey declares that he will retire and his chair will be given to Keenan.

"Not only that, Keenan will be the majority shareholder in this company" Grey said.

The board of directors who saw Keenan's performance over the past few years put their trust in the man. So they agreed and did not doubt Keenan anymore.

Happy tears just dripped down Keenan's cheeks.

"Ish, you crybaby!" grey commented, wiping away those tears.

"Dad, I promise to make you proud one day" Keenan said.

"Daddy is proud of you!" Grey hugged his son with applause from all the participants.

Keenan's rise to office was celebrated with a feast. That night, Tessa comes as the wife of a new President.

It felt like just yesterday Tessa took care of Keenan like a big baby but now he is the man's life partner.

"It's okay, Mrs. I'm just moved apart from the achievement of boss Keenan I can finally date" replied Pedro as it is.

"Do you have a date?"

"Not yet, still a plan!"

"Oh, Jesus!"

Then the party atmosphere became silent as Keenan was about to start his speech.

"Thank you to everyone for entrusting this position. I'm not very good at stringing words but behind all this there are people who are patient and meritorious to change me for the better" Keenan said as he looked at Grey from the podium.

"Thanks Dad, I probably won't be able to match you but I will do my best. And for the seat of sin it seems quite useful,"

Afterwards Keenan looked at Silver who was standing beside Grey.

"Mom, I love you, you are always patient and do not hesitate to reprove me if I make a mistake, just wait, I will definitely make a lot of grandchildren for you,"

Pedro who heard that gave a cross code if Keenan level cool down.

"For you, Ped!" Keenan chuckled for a moment. "Stay like that!"

Now it was Tessa's turn, the woman seemed to be pounding out of curiosity as to what her husband would tell her.

"And I wouldn't have gotten to this point if I hadn't fallen in love with my own secretary. The woman who always supported me from me was nothing until she gave me a strange disorder but I'm grateful for that,"

"Tessa.... This is all for you! Thank you for always believing in me, I love you every second in my life!"

Tessa can not stem her tears finally she can accompany Keenan to become a President.

A few months after Keenan's inauguration as President along with Keenan's future home and Tessa's completed.

When the weekend came, Keenan invited his wife to move.

"For the transfer party, I invited Sebastian and Luke" Keenan said upon arrival.

"Mommy and daddy will also come means just need to add to the ingredients of our barberque party" Tessa said.

"But I don't want to buy any more meat because I can't stand the smell" he added.

Keenan looked at his wife with a frown. "In hindsight, your sense of smell has been sharp lately, dear!"

"You even asked me to clean my ass a few times because you thought it smelled!"

Tessa gave me a smile because it had a cause. And it looks like Keenan should know fast.

"I want to give you something, Kee," Tessa said, giving her husband a testpeck and an ultrasound photo.

"What's this?" keenan did not understand. But then his brain gave information quickly. "Oh God! Is this Keesa?"

"Yes, Keesa Mark II and Mark III."

"A-what? There two?"

"I also found out after seeing the doctor,"

Tessa then embraces Keenan and kisses her husband on the lips.

"Thank you for loving me and giving me the opportunity to conceive your children! I love you, Boss," Tessa said later.

Finally Keenan heard the love statement from his wife as well after almost a year of their marriage.

"I love you too," Keenan kisses Tessa in front of their future home with their twins.
