Alsya was busy joking with her best friend in the side yard. She is so happy that she now has a friend when her husband is not around because she still has responsibilities in the boarding school, so that if usually Alsya will stay at her parents' house when Aly departs, she will stay there, this time no, because he wants to be an independent wife without having to bother parents again.
Alsya rushed straight into the house and towards the main door as someone pushed the bell button of her house. Until when the door was wide open, she saw her husband standing with a woman beside her, even holding hands. Alsya was very surprised by that, she immediately asked and what her husband said turned out to make her very hurt. Alsya immediately ran and clutched her best friend's body and cried so badly in the arms of the friend.
He did not know if it turned out his best friend saw the incident just now so he understood the situation.
"Life is a choice, even if there is no happiness from one of them. But really it is only according to our thinking, because what we see is good is not necessarily good according to God, and what we think is bad is not necessarily bad according to God. Whatever God gives us is the best for us."
The woman in front of him grew sobbing. How could it turn out that she could feel betrayal from her own husband all this time. She was so trusting of her husband who was always romantic, pampering her, never angry or upsetting, either, but what she had seen earlier really made her desperate even to think of ending the relationship between herself and her husband.
"I don't know what to do, Zahra... I'm surprised, I'm angry, I... My heart hurts so much..." His groaning made his friend feel how devastated he felt at this moment.
Zahra hugged her best friend's body which shook violently because of sobbing. "Russia, Al... Do not be like this, believe that God has prepared the best for you..." Zahra said soothing though her eyes began to glaze over because she could not bear to see her best friend crying until stingy like this. Zahra rubbed her friend's back to make her calm and peaceful.
"Zahras... I didn't expect... I didn't expect my husband to be like that..." Racau Alsya was still crying.
"Yes, yeah... I understand how you feel, Al..."
"What about our son if we split up... I don't want to see him grow up without a father... I can't bear it..." Alsya kept on raving incoherently.
"Al, you can't talk like that. You must not be separated, you must be a whole family for life with your children. Don't talk like that anymore, Al..."
Alsya did not answer but her cries still sounded bitter and heartbreaking to anyone who saw and heard her.
Too long crying makes Alsya exhausted and ends up falling asleep still in the arms of her best friend.
"Al, honey... Wake up... Alsha...!."
The tightly closed eyes began to open, spreading their gaze around the room and then stopping at the anxious face of the man who was not far from his face.
"Mas." Call Alsya with a hoarse voice exactly like the one who had just cried out violently, let alone round his eyes still leaving tears.
"Yes, baby ?. You're having nightmares ?." Aly asked worriedly with a worried look on her face as well.
Aly's hand rubbed the tears that were still wet on his wife's cheeks, turning on Alsya's forehead which was also wet from cold sweat when crying earlier.
Previously, Aly had gone out of the room after putting Alsya to bed to take drinking water, he also had time to the workspace to check his company's weekly files for half an hour. And, how shocked she was when she returned to the room, seeing Alsya crying as she pleased but her eyes were still tightly closed.
Aly thought Alsya was crying because of the pain in her stomach considering this is the ninth month of Alsya's womb. But, when approaching it turns out Alsya is still asleep, which is certain Alsya has nightmares.
Aly had tried to wake her up but Alsya still kept her eyes closed and cried with a sweat pouring down her forehead.
"Yes..." Alsya hit her husband's body and hugged him tightly and resumed her cries.
Aly was increasingly confused by Alsya's attitude like this. But he also couldn't possibly ask her now, he would rather calm his wife's cry first with a gentle swipe on her back as well as several times kissing the top of Alsya's head. What was dreamed by Alsya that made his wife cry as much as she wanted, Aly thought.
Alsya's cries slowly subsided, leaving only the remains of her sobbing. Aly let go of his embrace and stared fixedly at his wife's face filled with tears then rubbed her gently lovingly.
"Is the dream so bad, Hem ?." Ask Aly carefully.
Alsya.
"Already, calm down, it's just a dream don't think about it." said Aly as he brought Alsya's body back into his arms.
"Mas." Alsya raised her head to look at her husband's face from below.
"Hem ?."
"I don't want that dream to come true..."
Aly smiled gently. "What dream are you, Hem ?." Tanya Aly again landed her kiss on Alsya's forehead.
"I don't want to be polygamous, ma'am." Alsya finally said.
Aly speechless. He's really confused right now. Is this a sign that Alsha will soon find out his relationship with Halima ?.
Aly looked at the face of his wife who dimmed sour still staring at his face. "Why did you suddenly say that ?."
"So I dreamed it, mom."
"What made you cry?."
Alsya. "I can't afford to share a husband. I'm not willing." Alsya said as if while affirming that Aly did not do such a thing.
"That means you won't allow me to marry again ?."
Alsya looked directly at the face of the man before her. "Mas Aly wants to get married again ?!." Ask panicked.
"Hahh?!, no dear. I just wanted to ask." Answer Aly gelagapan.
"Mas, do you have any intention of looking for another woman besides me ?." Tanya Alsya was curious.
"Astaghfirullah, baby... What are you talking about ?. Our marriage was due to an arranged marriage, but I never intended to marry another woman again. I told you that I liked you from before we got married."
The truth is, isn't it ?. If Aly never had the intention to marry again, but apparently God's destiny no one knows so he was given a big responsibility that must marry Kyainya's daughter in pesantren.
Alsya's heart warmed to hear the words of her husband, Alsya again hugged her husband's body very tightly. "Yes, mas. I believe in you." Surely said.
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to lie to you. Aly in his heart.
"Darling..."
"Yes ?."
The two stared at each other with eyes focused on just one point.
"Al."
"Hem ?."
"Is there a polygamy system ?. Even God recommends for a man to have a wife who does not violate the rules that is only up to four ?."
"Yes..." Alsya's eyes began to express dislike.
"You've heard of it, haven't you?, back at the cottage."
Alsya's gaze began to dim and then a clear glint was seen around her eyes. Alsya breathed heavily and moved away from her husband's body and kept her distance.
"I do believe and do not deny God's law of polygamy. But, by God, I wouldn't be able to be polygamous." Alsya said without looking at her husband again.
Alsya lay back her body with a back to Aly's body. Somehow her heart was a little disturbed by the talk of polygamy, especially that she had dreamed of something very related to polygamy, where she saw her husband come home and brought the woman he said was his wife. It really made Alsya's heart hit and deep pain.
Slowly Alsya's tears poured down from the corner of her eyes and soaked the pillow she was covering.
Alsya felt Aly hugging her body from behind.
"Darling..." Call Aly in a soft and smooth voice.
Without even answering, Alsya tried to close her eyes again. He still thinks about polygamy.
"Al."
"I'm going to sleep, mom."
"Darling, I just want to ask, it's impossible to do it, it can't be the same for you..." Said Aly reassuringly as her hand turned Alsya's body to face her.
The two looked locked onto each other.
"Trust me."
"I won't be able to, ma'am. If Aly did, I would choose to be sent back to my parents." Alsya said solemnly.
"Darling, don't talk like that... "
"I'm serious, mas."
"Mas is serious too. I won't do it, I can't be with you."
"Yes." Yeah."
"Yes, now you rest..."
"Yes." Yeah."
Alsha began to close her eyes again.
