Murder In The Old Castle
334. Paramedic

Martono's car was moving towards the city at high speed, like an ambulance carrying sick people. Warti, who was sitting next to Martono looked riled up, because the husband was so careless to bring a car. He repeatedly closed his eyes because of the car that was shabby and almost hit another vehicle. The car was so agile, breaking through the city's congestion which was quite congested that day.

"Don't go fast, sir. We could die!" reprimanding Warti while hitting the husband's arm.

"Quiet down! We're gonna be fine. Behind there is a sick person who must be taken to the hospital immediately. We must quickly save him," said Martono casually, while spending the rest of the cigarettes he smoked.

"Kok he's dashing huh, sir? Like that cop .. " muttered Warti with a smile.

"It looks like a cop, ma'am. His face was like a stranger. Ever appeared on television like it," said Martono while exhaling cigarette smoke to the side.

Once again, Warti looked back, where Dimas was sitting while accompanying Ramdhan who was lying in the back tub mixed with vegetables. Not very visible, but Warti hopes that they are in good shape back there.

While in the back, Dimas felt a little relieved, even though Ramdhan's condition was weak, his co-worker was still able to open his eyes slowly. It's just, he didn't say anything more. Meanwhile, Ramdhan himself thought maybe he was dead. However, as soon as he found Dimas nearby, he felt relieved.

While blood continues to pour from Ramdhan temple due to a hard collision with the steering wheel of the car during the accident. Dimas tried to cover the wound with a tissue given by Martono, so that blood did not pour more and more. Ramdhan seemed to want to say something, but Dimas prevented it.

"You'll be safe, Ramdhan. Don't talk yet. Soon we will arrive at the hospital" whispered Dimas.

Ramdhan did not react. He felt relieved and agitated. The pain in the head is becoming. He can only go where he will be taken away.

Before long, Martono's car arrived at a special police hospital located on the west side of the city, in a fairly crowded office area.  As soon as the car was parked, Dimas asked the paramedics who were there to take Ramdhan immediately. Thankfully, everyone acted swiftly. Ramdhan was immediately rushed to the emergency department for immediate treatment. Dimas gave information as necessary to the hospital, to the condition of Ramdhan.

Dimas should also get treatment as necessary related to bruises and abrasions on his body. But before that, do not forget Dimas also called the police related to the current condition in the castle. Dimas requested that the police immediately send a team of paramedics to the castle, as there were two bodies that had to be evacuated immediately.

After all the business with the police was done, he went into the treatment room. He had to undergo treatment while in the hospital. Bruises and abrasions should be cleaned so as not to have an infection. Several nurses treated Dimas's injuries. Thankfully, nothing serious. It's just that Dimas needed time to heal those wounds.

While Martono and Warti waited in the waiting room of the Hospital. Martono also felt worried about Ramdhan's condition, even though there was no connection with the police. Martono looked agitated, seeing people passing along the hospital corridor.

After receiving treatment, Dimas immediately met the couple, thanking them for their help. Dimas imagined that if he had not met Martono, maybe the story would have been different. Dimas gave his highest appreciation for the help of Martono and his wife. As a token of gratitude, he gave a sum of money put in an envelope to Martono.

"No, Sir. I am sincere. I'm glad I could help, especially the police. So it must be helped," said Martono.

"Alright sir, just accept it. We on behalf of the police are very grateful for Mr. Martono's help. If you need anything just contact me in the police, I will definitely help" said Dimas.

The couple was so grateful for the award given by Dimas, They left the hospital with radiant levels. Dimas was also happy to see their happiness. He sighed, while resting his body that felt pain, due to the great impact earlier. He was thankful that he didn't get hurt seriously enough. He also hopes that Ramdhan will be fine as well.

Jeremy left the cabin in the middle of the forest in a hasty step. He does not want to stay on the road, his mind is back to Stella who is still mysterious existence. He wanted to get to the castle soon. Right now, he was walking down a lonely path. The road that passes is surrounded by tall trees and grows tightly. He heard the rumbling of a waterfall not far from the path.

After arriving at the waterfall, he felt thirsty, but the water in the bottle had run out. He had to take water from the river, then immediately downing it. He no longer thought about the sterility of the water he drank. He didn't want to die of thirst, so he didn't care about it. He just wants to wet his throat with water,

After feeling lost his thirst, he again continued his journey to the castle. He arrived at the castle when the sun was almost docked in the western horizon. As usual, he found the castle in a quiet state. Jeremy thought, surely the residents are in their respective rooms. Understandably, there must be insecurity being outside the castle. The killer is still on the loose, and his identity is not clearly known.

Jeremy went straight into the room. He did not see Ramdhan or Juned, but he intended to ask one of them to explore the basement. After cleaning himself for a moment, he intended to go to the kitchen room to find something to eat. His stomach felt rumbling because since this afternoon he had not filled his stomach.

Apparently in the kitchen was Mariah, who was busy preparing dinner. Seeing Jeremy's sudden presence, Mariah almost suffocates.

"You're just surprised, Jer. Where the hell have you been? You didn't come to lunch today" said Mariah.

There was no food there, only fruit. Jeremy picked up an apple, then sat down on the chair in the kitchen, then peeled the apple with a small knife.

"Have you seen Ramdhan or Juned?" ask Jeremy.

"Ramdhan hasn't returned to the castle since yesterday, whereas Juned is probably resting in his room. Why are you asking about them?" ask Mariah.

Jeremy just shook his head, then stuffed a small piece of apple into his mouth.

"Mariah, you already know this castii well.dong must be about the secret passageways in this basement," said Jeremy.

Mariah put down the knife used to slice the vegetables, then looked at Jeremy question markingly. Rarely does anyone ask about the basement. Actually Mariah herself felt lazy to discuss the basement, because there were many dark events that she had experienced there.

"Why are you asking that, Jeremy?" ask Mariah.

"I'm .. I just want to know, Mariah. yeah, I've heard scary stories from that basement. I wonder what's in there. Mr. Reno suggested to me to look for Mariah's whereabouts in there" Jeremy said.

"Why do you think that Stella's in there?"

"Because Nadine was also found in there. We think that the killer took the two of them into the basement. It's just that Stella hasn't been found yet, and may be in one of the cubicles down there. That's why I want to ask Ramdhan or Juned for help to accompany me in there" Jeremy said.

Mariah nodded as she said, "You're right Jer, there's a lot of dark things down there, and up until now I didn't want to jump in there again. If you want to find Stella there, I suggest you in the morning. It was already late at night, it would certainly be dangerous to be inside the basement. After all, security personnel are currently limited in number," Mariah suggested.

"Yes, I understand that. But I was very thoughtful, and could not wait until morning. Tonight also stiff must go down. I'm sorry Mariah, if Juned isn't ready, then I'll go down there alone!" jeremy said firmly.

Mariah could not say anything. she just sighed, not intending to forbid. He does not blame Jeremy, because at this time only Stella whose position is not clear where.

Lily intends to get out of the reading room after having a conversation with Aditya. He was riled up by Aditya's words that seemed to blame him for the events in the castle. He put the book he read on the table, then stepped out, saying nothing.

Aditya just held his breath seeing Lily's anger at him. At a glance he saw the book Lily read on the table. He scrunched his forehead. Isn't that a book about murder written by Michael Smith Artenton? Aditya picked up the book to read it at a glance. The book became very famous after the murder in the old castle some time ago.

The book is said to be the inspiration of the killer in killing his victims. The order of the murders was deliberately replicated by Tiara to kill the victims. Then why did Lily read the book, Aditya muttered. He smiled, then brought the book for the next time he read in the room. He was also curious about the content of the horrendous book.

In her heart, Aditya was actually worried by Lily's words, that the woman knew of her affair with someone she did not mention. He's a little agitated. There were two ambulances, with red lights swirling around. Apparently the medics have arrived at the castle grounds. Ammar acted quickly. He immediately ordered the paramedics to go to the backyard with two other paramedics. Apparently they were about to evacuate the body of Kara who had been stationed there since morning. Ammar deliberately chose a detour because he hoped that no residents would know this. Unfortunately, Aditya who had just stepped out of the reading room, peeked out from behind the window. He wanted to know what the paramedics were doing.

While three other paramedic personnel immediately moved towards the forest directed by Juned. They're about to evacuate Farrel's headless body. Reno had apparently been waiting for hours in the forest. Of course the presence of these paramedics has been awaited by Reno in the forest.

It was getting dark, but the evacuation process still had to be carried out so that the investigation process could run faster. Mariah who was in the kitchen immediately secured the kitchen area and its surroundings. Jeremy was back in his room, so he didn't know the paramedics were present. Mariah was anxious, as the paramedics began to descend underground. He hopes that everything can go well.

From behind the window, Aditya watched every move of the team, even as they walked into the basement. Aditya felt inexhaustible, what was actually hidden in that basement? He thought there was something extraordinary. He's getting curious. I wanted it to feel like he was coming down there, but obviously it was impossible, because it certainly would not be allowed.
