Murder In The Old Castle
335. Evacuations

The night begins to wrap the castle in darkness, as paramedics begin to move to evacuate Kara's body stored in the cubicle. Officers put the body in a body bag, and then brought it to the city. Ammar was in direct control of the evacuation process, hoping for the evacuation to take place quickly without obstacles. He is worried that if the evacuation process goes slowly it will cause new problems, because other residents will know the process.

The slightly warm night weather is indeed very appropriate for the evacuation process. Ammar signaled that everything should be done quickly. Mariah served directly to sterilize the conditions inside the castle. He prepared dinner at the dinner table, but it seemed like many were heartless for dinner. Some of them chose to stay in the room.

On the other side of the castle was Aditya who had been peeping, looking closely as paramedics walked out into the side yard carrying body bags. He could not confirm whose body was in the yellow bag. Nadine was found safe in the basement this morning. Is it Stella's body. thought Aditya. He did not want to speculate further, but this incident really made him very curious.

"Who's in the body bag?" aditya Gumam.

Kara's body wrapped in a body bag was then put in a car, with no sound. The paramedics acted swiftly.they were trained personnel, so the evacuation process could be carried out appropriately. After Kara's body came in, the ambulance immediately exited the castle grounds, preparing to drive towards the city. The car left the castle grounds quietly and almost silently, while Ammar escorted the evacuation process to the castle gate. Now there is one more ambulance, which is waiting for the evacuation of Farrel's body from the forest.

Aditya was still watching the evacuation secretly, from behind the window. His gaze seemed unwilling to escape, occasionally sharpening the view, because it was dark outside. Desire to become more. Why is the evacuation of bodies done at night like this?

"Dit, what are you doing?"

Suddenly a voice rebuked him. Aditya looks away, finding Jeremy already behind him. Aditya immediately behaved normally, then took Jeremy to the living room that night looked empty. Apparently Jeremy was also curious, because there seemed to be important things to be conveyed by Aditya. Jeremy prepared to hear Aditya's explanation enthusiastically.

"I think they're hiding something from us, Jer," Aditya said.

"Hide something? Whatchu mean?" ask Jeremy.

"I just saw some paramedics hauling a body bag from inside the basement. This morning Nadine was found safe. So who died down there? Rosita is safe too. We are also complete. Who exactly was the body taken by the paramedics?" aditya.

"You're serious, Dit? Are there paramedics here? I know the paramedics were assigned to transport Farrel's body in the forest, because Mr. Reno had been waiting for paramedics since morning. I thought it was Farrel's body" said Jeremy.

"No, no. They went into the basement and they took someone's body there. It seems like something is hidden from us. How about we find out about this, Jer? My feelings aren't good. I don't want the events that happened to Lidya to happen again" said Aditya.

Jeremy pensive for a moment. Suddenly his memory turned to Stella. He was worried that the body the paramedics picked up was Stella's body. Didn't Mr Reno say that maybe Stella was still in the basement? The bad taste began to creep into his feelings. He immediately got up from his seat.

"I'm going to the basement now!" said Jeremy.

"What do you want? The body was put in the car, and the car was gone. You should ask directly to Mr. Ammar, who exactly was put in the body bag," said Aditya.

"Not Dit! I want to see it with my own eyes. I'm currently worried about Stella's condition, which may be cowering starving down there.  I don't want to be fooled. Tonight I'm going down to the basement. I don't want to wait lonely. I don't want to rely on Juned or anyone. I'll move on my own without anyone's help!" said Jeremy.

"God! Don't be so reckless Jer!"

"I'm not reckless, Dit. It's my duty to protect the family" Jeremy said firmly.

"Alright, Jer. I can't stop you. If you don't mind, I'll accompany you down to that basement. I'm also curious, what's hidden in there?"

"Good Dit! You can come with. We're going down there together!"

"We wait for everyone to sleep. Mumpung Pak Reno and Juned are not there, we can trace the truth about the basement which is said to be haunted and creepy. It seems like a myth. I'm very curious about what's in it" said Aditya.

"Why wait, Dit? I want to go there now! It's more to Stella's safety. It's not a matter of the basement being haunted or not, because I don't care.  I'm going to find Stella in that room" Jeremy said.

"I'll help you, Jer! But wait a moment. If anyone knows we're going there secretly. They will definitely ban. At least wait a minute!" adit Suggestions.

"All right!" jeremy replied softened.

In the darkness of the forest, a glowing flashlight escorts the evacuation process of Farrel's corpse, led by Reno, assisted by Juned. The difficulty of the forest terrain is a challenge for paramedics to follow the path filled with thickets. Nevertheless, they remain eager to carry out their duties.

"What about the conditions in the castle? Has the body in there been evacuated?" ask Reno.

"Sir Ammar has handled the ones in the castle, sir. It seems like everything is smooth" Juned replied,

Reno nodded. Actually he was in a bad condition, because he was very hungry. From morning, he had not eaten, only filling the stomach with water. Now he must lead the evacuation of the bodies so that he can quickly get to the castle safely.

They have reached the waterfall area. The rumbling sound, combined with the screams of forest animals, was heard clearly, increasingly making them more excited to get to the castle.  The trail becomes somewhat slippery, due to splashing water. They have to be extra careful, so as not to slip. The headless body was put in a body bag carried by two paramedics.

"We need to get to the castle, sir. Mr. Ammar was alone there because Ramdhan had not arrived from the city. I don't know what happened to Ramdhan, why he didn't get to the castle immediately" Juned said.

"Something bad has happened to Ramdhan" Reno said.

"One of the paramedics said that Ramdhan's car had a severe accident on the road to the city. But he did not explain what kind of accident, and Ramdhan's condition was also uncertain. What is clear is that Ramdhan is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital" Reno said.

"God! How could that have happened! As far as I know, this Ramdhan is quite disciplined in matters of safety. The car is always in good condition. How could there be an accident? What because of sabotage, sir?" ask Juned.

"Come, Juni. We can't speculate without seeing it happen. Police are currently working on the accident case. Hopefully Ramdhan is in good shape" Reno said.

Juned could only nag. He was worried about his co-worker's condition. If Ramdhan was injured, he would have served alone in the castle.. Dimas is also not in place. Of course it would be dangerous if the castle is in a state of minimal security. Bad things can happen anytime.

"May Ramdhan recover soon and return to the castle, Juned murmured.

"If waiting for Ramdhan to recover seems a bit long. The police will replace the new staff. But until now I don't know who will replace Ramdhan. Hopefully the replacement is the right person" Reno said.

Juned can only say. They continued to walk through the dark forest, towards the direction of the castle. From a distance, the castle tower was already visible. Even so, the distance of time travel is quite far. Juned was already feeling quite tired on his feet, because all day a lot had to be taken care of. He just wanted to get to the castle and rest.

After receiving treatment from the hospital, Dimas was advised to rest so that his injuries could recover immediately. But Dimas had no time for that. He did not want to rest for long, because there was much he had to finish. He must uncover the facts related to the murder case in the old castle that has entered a new chapter. Delaying time would be fatal. It could be, the victim will fall again.he should look for more in-depth information related to this case.

He did not go straight home, but went straight to the office to look for files that might be related to the residents of this castle. At the very least, he wanted to trace the background of each occupant, and investigate the interrelationships between them. Previous cases proved that romance could be the most dangerous motive. He suspects that this case is not only based on romance, but also mixed with unsatisfied grudges.

He was opening files stored in a file cabinet when the door of his room opened suddenly. Niken, the policewoman who looked beautiful that night, just walked in without excuse, with a seductive smile.

"Welcome to Dimas. I'm sorry to see your condition being injured like that. You want some good news?  We'll be a team soon" said Niken.

Dimas stopped his activity, looking at Niken questioningly. His hunch said, if a female police officer was present, it would bring something bad. But this time, Dimas tried to be patient. He tried to follow what Niken wanted.

"Can I help you, Niken? Sorry, I'm a little busy today" Dimas said.

The policewoman smiled, then handed Dimas a small brown envelope. Of course this makes Dimas more astonished.

"What's this?" asked Dimas while receiving the envelope.

"Read it!"

Inevitably, Dimas opened also the envelope given by Niken. He read carefully the piece of paper inside. It turned out that the paper contained a letter of duty to Niken.

"How did you recite it? The letter of duty is legitimate and official. Tonight I will go there to replace Ramdhan who is in treatment" Niken said.

"It's up to you, Niken. But that castle is nothing like the one you've seen in fairy tales. It was not a castle inhabited by royal princesses who expected the presence of knight riding. The castle there is much more terrible. And what we're dealing with isn't a witch or a teri-class psychopath.  But what we're dealing with this time is a psychopath. I hope you can adjust there soon" Dimas said as he folded the letter.

"I'm not afraid of anything Dimas. How many cases have I solved, and you're still teaching me about this? I'm not the girl yesterday afternoon who doesn't know anything. I'm sure, surely my presence there will help a lot!" Niken said with a cynical smile.

"The fact is, in the previous case, you almost died being held captive by criminals in an empty house. You remember that? If I hadn't come, then I'd have made sure you'd stay by name!"  dimas.

"Yes I admit it, Dimas. But this time I learned a lot from my mistakes. This time I won't give up so easily. Alright, let me just accept your advice, it might be useful to me.Maybe now you are still looking for data related to the residents of the castle. You know, I've summarized their data all of them, just maybe I won't share it with you" Niken said in an arrogant tone.

"I don't need you, Niken! I can find my own more accurate data!" toilet Dimas.

Dimas is currently in a tired state. His body was painful to the joints, the presence of Niken in his room was very disturbing, but he was still trying to hold back emotions. He was eager to curse the woman, but the intention was dashed. He is not a barbarian man. He felt that getting angry at Niken would only lower himself.

Dimas only nodded slowly, letting the arrogant woman pass from his room. He could not imagine that Niken reached the old castle. He was sure that Niken would be more troublesome than helpful. However, he also could not intervene in the police decision that included the name Niken as a replacement for Ramdhan. He hopes that everything will be okay.
