Two cars lined the dark road that meandered out of town. Dark atmosphere, surrounded by tall trees on the right-left of the road. The car moved slowly, then stopped at the edge of the quiet forest. The wind rippled a bit, clutching the skin. The front car was driven by Gerry along with Alma, Ferdy, Rudi and Alex. While the rear car is driven by Rasty, with passengers Lena, Miranti, and Adinda.
Gerry turned to look at Rudi who was sitting in the back seat.
“Bener here ya the driveway?” said Gerry.
“Iya true. See the sign!”
Rudi pointed to a sign made of wood.
THE LAKE 1 Km.
All passengers rushed down. The men open the trunk, where Jenny's body is kept. They lifted up Jenny's body that had been wrapped by the sheet. There were blood spots on the cloth everywhere.
“Please help lift! Very heavy!” pinta Rudi's.
Alex seems reluctant, because in fact he does not agree with the crazy idea of his friends. However, he had no other choice. He helped to lift Jenny's body.
“We will walk about one kilometer, after that we will raise the body on the canoe, then we throw it in the middle of the lake!” Rudi gave instructions.
“We are waiting here only?” rasty's Proposal.
“All must come! No one can stay!” said Gerry.
Rasty couldn't resist. Half-heartedly he walked behind the men, with the other girls along the path that was a bit muddy because it was raining. That troubled him, because he was wearing shoes with rather high heels.
“I can't walk in a place like this!” Rasty.
“Not brought, Rasty! If it's hard, take it off shoes!” gerry's orders.
“What? I have to walk in a muddy place like this barefoot?”
“Can you stop complaining? Ntar if I'm annoyed, I'll sink you all into the lake!” threaten Gerry's.
Rasty snorted in annoyance. The other girls did not speak. They were carried away in a tense and fearful atmosphere. The forest looks creepy and dark, while the one with the flashlight is only Ferdy. They had to tread very carefully because the path was slippery and slightly muddy.
“Consider your steps! Slippery road. Don't fall or step on the snake!” Gerry gave a warning.
After some time of walking, they arrived at the edge of a fairly wide lake, with a thick shade of trees by its side. The atmosphere looked haunted because it was so quiet. The wind rustle was clearly heard, playing the sound of tree leaves rubbing against each other.
The sky was clearly visible in an open area like this. It looked dark without clouds with scattered stars. Soon, dawn is approaching. So they have to do the job immediately.
At the edge of the lake is seen a small canoe that oscillates toyed with water currents. Jenny's body was placed in the middle of a canoe. Because the size was too small, they agreed that the ones who climbed on the canoe were Gerry and Rudy, while the others waited on the sidelines.
As soon as the bodies were ready, Gerry and Rudi paddled the canoe into the middle of the lake. Somewhat difficult, because the water currents are not friendly. Quite difficult, but in the end they reached the middle of the lake.
“You sure you're gonna dump this body, Rud?” ask Gerry.
“Better we just throw it away than have to deal with the police!” answer Rudi.
“I want to ask you something, can you?” Gerry asked again.
“Ask what?”
“You killed Jenny, right?” shoot Gerry.
“I? Crazy one! No lah! Why did I kill Jenny!” rudi replied with a huff. He was angry about the accusation.
“Sorry. I just guessed it.”
“Your guess is outrageous, Ger! If that makes the most sense, Rasty. She hates Jenny!” refute Rudi.
“OK. Okay, Sorry. Because I heard wind that ...” Gerry stopped his words.
“Jenny is two months pregnant. But I don't know exactly what it is. Maybe gossip,” said Gerry.
“Crazy you yes! Even if she's pregnant, I swear I didn't make her pregnant. I never said anything about him. Never mind Ger, don't make a vague opinion. After this no one should ever mention Jenny's name. If anyone asks, say no know!”
“Alright,” replied Gerry.
Once enough was felt in the middle, the two young men lifted Jenny's body, then slowly they put it into the water.
Byuruurr!
Visible air bubbles that appear from the sidelines of the fabric. Jenny's body slid rapidly inward, sinking inward into the bone-freezing lake water.
After the mission was completed, they rowed back the canoe to the edge of the lake to meet his friends who were already waiting restlessly. Especially the girls, they look uncomfortable being in such a beautiful place.
“How?” ask Ferdy.
“Beres! Jenny's body was already drowned perfectly. After this you can sleep well. Guaranteed no one else to question Jenny's whereabouts. Instead of us dealing with the authorities, this is the best!” said Rudi.
All the mangosteen, but still harboring doubts. They hoped that this matter would stop here enough, no need to be revealed anymore.
“Remember my message earlier! After this, everyone should shut up. No one mentioned Jenny anymore. If anyone asks, just say you don't know. This is our secret nine. This secret you must keep to death. For if one of you leaks, we will all be affected. The police won't stay silent!” added Gerry.
“Can we go home now? I am not comfortable here,” Adinda said.
“Yes, after this we go home, forget everything that just happened,” Gerry said.
They then walked along the path to the highway where the car was parked. The cold wind biting the skin. Soon the dawn broke, leaving a sense of tiredness that whack the body. Deep inside, they felt a deep turmoil, but pretended that everything would be fine.
“I'm afraid something bad will happen,” whispered Alex.
“What else do you think, Lex?” ask Adinda slowly.
“All the murder marks in Gerry's house must be thoroughly cleaned, leaving no trace in the slightest.”
“All will be well, Lex. After this I will try to forget everything. It's so horrible. I don't know Jenny very well, but seeing her die in such a way is certainly not a good thing,” Adinda said.
“You guys said what the hell?” Suddenly Lena followed from behind.
He was a little scared walking in the back row. At the front, he saw Rudi walking rather quickly. Ferdy was at the very back just in case.
“Nothing really. How are you feeling, Len?” ask Adinda.
“Again scared, actually. But, what else? I think this is the best idea. Hopefully after this there will be no more problems. But to my fear, we don't know who killed Jenny yet. What is Rasty?” whispered Lena.
“Entah Len. He hates Jenny. But Rasty's time is that tight?”
“Do not get it wrong Din. People, if it is dark eyes because of love, can justify all means. But I hope it's not him.”
“You don't know Jenny?” ask Dinda.
“Know. He's a friend of the same theater club I had at college. Pretty deket too. You know the rumor he was ... ups!” Lena hurriedly closed her mouth.
“What's he, Len?” ask Dinda curious.
“Ah, it's okay! I'm sorry, I was flushed!”
Dinda frowned, trying to guess what sentence Lena was going to say. Unfortunately, Lena chose to shut up. He was silent now, saying nothing more.
