Mr. Dimitri's Toy
Wedding Day

All the residents of Navarre Palace are happy because there is a big and sacred event that will take place this afternoon, after sunset, in the garden behind the palace. The servants prepared everything with sumringah, the chefs in the palace kitchen were busy cooking the delicious food that would be served.

This event never happened. Couples from outside the kingdom chose to hold their wedding ceremony in the Kingdom of Navarre. Although married people have said that they want to hold a small ceremony, but King Lewis of course wants to give his best.

No one knows, behind the kindness of King Lewis, he felt disappointed and jealous because the woman he loved at first sight, had to belong to someone else. But King Lewis is helpless. She can only look forward to Chloe's wedding with a fake smile on her face.

Inside the bride's room, Fiona holds Dwayne playing her small wooden horse on the sofa, looking at Miss Eliza's long hair with colorful little flowers.

“Nona Eliza, sorry if I was presumptuous to ask. Why did you choose the afternoon? Usually people always get married in the morning or during the day when the sun is still rising.”

Chloe from the mirror looked at Fiona and smiled. “The sun is a symbol of strength and fire, while the moon is a symbol of coolness and tranquility. I want to have a marriage with a calm and prosperous relationship. That's why I chose night.”

The nature of Chloe and Dimitri is already very symbolic of the sun. They were both strong and fiery. Chloe hopes that their wedding as the moon shines on, will bring their relationship into balance. He laughs at himself. Maybe he's the only vampire in this world who's superstitious.

Fiona nodded her head with sparkling eyes. “Wah, the thought of miss is very romantic.”

After finishing her hair, Chloe wore a dress on the bed. She had no choice but to dress in light brown as her wedding dress. Suddenly the door was knocked and a servant opened it.

“Sorry, I came to deliver Miss Eliza's wedding dress.” A woman came in holding a white dress in her hand.

“Wedlock?” ask Chloe wonder.

“Betul, miss. This is a gift from King Lewis for your wedding day. Please try, but by looking at your posture, I can guarantee that this dress can be worn. I make it all day and don't sleep.”

Chloe stroked the wedding dress that the maid had brought before her. “Thank you very much. You've taken the trouble to finish this dress for me.”

Chloe wanted to refuse King Lewis. He felt they had a lot of trouble by making a wedding suddenly. But seeing the woman's tired face that immediately turned happy, Chloe did not have the heart to return it.

That white dress really fell beautifully on Chloe's body. The tail of the dress is not too long and minimalist decoration makes this dress look elegant.

“The body shape of the lady has been very good, so wearing this dress does not cover the beauty of the body of the owner,” said a waiter who helped put on the dress.

“Mama and pretty!” babble Dwayne on Fiona's lap and swing both her hands in excitement.

“Thank you, baby boy. Later Fiona help Dwayne change clothes yes.”

The sun was about to sink and Chloe's room door was knocked back. Edric entered and was flabbergasted when he saw his daughter. His eyes were watering with shock.

“Chloe, you are the most beautiful bride in the world.” Edric wanted to hug her, but abandoned his intentions for fear of damaging Chloe's dress.

“Papa, thank you for blessing me for my marriage to Dimitri. I know papa will definitely be burdened after this to find a replacement for War Commander Azov.”

Edric wiped away a single tear that was dripping. “Ah don't have to worry about that, Chloe. As long as you are happy, papa is willing to let you go. But..”

“But why, pa?”

Edric took a breath, “But if your memory returns and you want to part with Dimitri, don't hesitate to ask papa for help. Forever you are my daughter, Chloe Elizabeth Suarez.”

Chloe smile. “Dimitri told me everything, papa. The past let it pass. Dimitri and I are going to open a new chapter as a married couple and I want a happy family for Dwayne.”

Chloe looked at her son and nodded at Edric. “I'm ready, papa.”

Chloe hugged Edric's arm and walked towards the back garden that had been decorated in such a way with candles that added to the ingenuity of the atmosphere.

Although there were not many guests watching, Chloe still walked nervously to the place where the sacred ceremony was held.

All eyes were on the white-robed bride who was walking slowly towards the altar, but her hazel bead was only on a black-robed man who was already waiting at the end there.

Oh, Chloe didn't get the wrong choice anymore or maybe God was kind to her for making this man the one who was destined to be with her in eternity.

Edric gives Chloe a hand in Dimitri's hand. “Gaga my daughter is well, Dimitri.”

“Sure, Edric. I will guard it with all my soul.”

Before standing face to face, Dimitri lowered his head and whispered in Chloe's ear. “You look very charming wearing this dress, darling. But what a pity, your dress won't last long tonight.”

Chloe blushed and she saw the priest standing in the middle, covering his mouth with his fist and clearing his throat. Did the priest hear Dimitri's whisper? Chloe's face is getting hotter.

“Friends and dear brothers, we welcome and thank you for your arrival at this important event. We gather together today to witness and celebrate the wedding of Chloe Elizabeth Suarez and Dimitri D’Arcy.”

“Everybody has a deep desire to love and be loved. Love is a great unifier, regardless of who we are, where we come from or what we believe in. Marriage is a commitment to sharing life together.

“Marriage will deepen the love between you and make you a better individual. So, enjoy your marriage by waking up every morning and falling in love again and again.”

After that, they made a wedding vow. Standing face to face with eyes fixed on each other, as if the world belonged to just the two of them.

The guests laughed, including King Lewis, as Dwayne stepped toward the altar with his small steps and a face of concentration to keep the item in his hand from falling. He carried a round-shaped piece of wood, on top of which were two rings made of gold.

“Thank you, peanut.”

Dimitri took the smaller ring and pinned it on Chloe's finger. And so is Chloe. They exchanged rings in front of their son.

“You may now kiss the bride.”
