The birdsong instantly disappeared from Chloe's hearing, as if her world was narrowed, focusing only on the man and the little boy in front of her.

What does Dimitri mean? I gave birth to Dwayne? I turned out to be a mother?

But the confusion was instantly gone. Chloe's heart was only filled with a sense of happiness that she had never felt before. Or he doesn't remember that he was this happy once.

“Shortly. Mama wants to ask your papa first.” Chloe brought her lips closer to Dimitri's ears to whisper, making Dwayne laugh amusedly.

“Dimiters! Were we married before? Why didn't you say!!” hisses.

Replace Dimitri who whispered in Chloe's ear. “I didn't say because I was afraid you were shocked because we weren't married but already had a child first!”

Chloe. If there was no Dwayne in his hand, Dimitri would have fallen on the grass.

“But since we have regrouped, we can get married soon. How?”

Dwayne clapped both hands. “Yay! Papa and mama get married!”

“Unfortunately Dwayne understands what it is to get married?” chloe asked who was a little confused by her son's cleverness.

“Onty Adre used to say that she wanted to marry Om Draven!”

Dimitri stroked Dwayne's head. “How, Chloe? We can get married here soon.”

“What? Why rush?”

Of course Dimitri wanted to immediately tie Chloe into his possession, before the woman changed her mind.

“I don't think there's anything to delay anymore. Or do you want to go home now to celebrate the party in Azov Kingdom?”

“Not really. I'm just a little surprised by all this. I'm not worried about getting married where.”

Chloe looked at Dwayne's glowing face. He had no reason to reject Dimitri's invitation. For God's sake, they already have a child!

“Then I will ask Lewis for permission to hold a wedding ceremony at his palace.” Dimitri took Dwayne out of Chloe's hand.

He immediately felt empty when separated from Dwayne, but the little boy had already yawned sleepily and laid his head on his papa's shoulders. Chloe didn't take it back.

Why do I feel like I was separated from my own son?

He put away the strange feeling in his heart. No one can separate Dwayne from him anymore because Dwayne is his own flesh and blood.

They returned to the palace to put Dwayne to sleep in the room that King Lewis had provided. Chloe could not escape from the side to look at the calm face of her son who was asleep.

“Sorry to interrupt, miss. King Lewis asked you to meet him under.”

“Oh, I can't go down.” Chloe looked back to see Dwayne turn her body and go back to sleep. “My son is asleep and I cannot leave him.”

“I can help you to take care of her, miss. As long as the young master stays here, I am his nanny.”

“Oh so. What's your name?”

“My name is Fiona, miss.” He saluted.

“Alright then. Please take care of Dwayne for a moment yes, Fiona.”

“By pleasure, miss.”

After making sure Dwayne was still asleep, Chloe immediately went downstairs to meet King Lewis. He still wears simple clothes that are practical for traveling, not too fancy but still shows his class.

Under the stairs, a servant was waiting for him and led him to meet King Lewis. He opened one large room containing several sofas, a fireplace and a large piano in black in one corner, overlooking the garden.

King Lewis sat on the piano and played a soft song. Chloe's not a music lover, so she doesn't know what the man is playing.

When Chloe walks in, she stops her play and moves out of the piano chair to get closer.

“Ah, you have arrived. Thank you for coming down to see me.”

Chloe saluted, “What need is Your Majesty looking for me?”

“You are the daughter of Edric Suarez, right?” King Lewis looked at her from top to bottom, making Chloe uncomfortable.

“Betul, Your Highness.”

He walks around Chloe. If she wasn't a king, Chloe would've poked her eyes out. But Chloe just kept her anger in her silence because as far as Lewis knew, she was Edric Suarez's son.

“Tadi Dimitri D’Arcy requested permission to use the back garden of the palace as your wedding venue. He was also going outside after asking where the top jewelry stores in the kingdom are.”

After circling Chloe, he stopped in front of her. “Dwayne is your son?”

“Betul, Your Majesty. Dwayne who was taken away by your brother's messenger, Nelson, is our son.”

“Hmm... But you seemed surprised when Dwayne called you mama?”

“That's none of your business, Your Majesty. Is your interrogation over?” Chloe raised her head to look King Lewis straight in the eye.

He's not too tall like Dimitri. Chloe's height is almost balanced with her. King Lewis has a handsome face, sweet and babyface. Not Chloe type at all. He preferred masculine men with piercing stares, like Dimitri.

“Woah, whoa. Sorry did I offend you? It seems you misunderstood. I asked like that to make sure Dwayne wasn't taken away by people he didn't know.”

Chloe squinted her eyes. “So you heard by yourself that he called Dimitri ‘papa’. He also had the features of both of us on his face and it was clearly visible. What do you have to doubt?”

“Sorry, it's my fault for not being able to trust others easily. I don't want to look for enemies from the Azov Kingdom, let alone be hostile to a beautiful woman like you. Will you forgive me?”

Chloe held back her grunt. This guy is really good at talking sweet.

“Good. Sorry to disturb your calm, Your Majesty. If you do not agree we hold the wedding ceremony here, we will leave soon after sunrise tomorrow.”

Chloe saluted and turned her body to leave, but her arm was held by King Lewis.

“Wait..,”
