JI 2 - Quality Time

Arini, Leon and Joseph take Pearl to Korea. Jasmine did not come, because the toddler was in school.

"Mom be careful, huh? When you get there, tell Rini and Leon" Arini said as she let go of her mother-in-law's departure.

"Yes. Mama must have told you" replied Mutiara. He kissed Joseph on the cheek, and then hurried to the flight.

"We haven't had quality time in a long time, you know." Leon said his mother had gone missing disguised with other passengers.

"You're busy constantly" Arini said as she moved her lips five centimeters.

Seeing his wife's behavior, Leon could only shake his head with a big smile.

Leon admitted, lately he has been very busy. So there is no time to be alone with Arini or play with her children.

"To the restaurant, would you? We have not eaten together for a long time" Leon said, confirming Joseph's place in his arms.

"Can. Just a Nusantara restaurant, huh?"

The two then rushed to the parking lot. When he got near the car, Arini asked Leon for the keys. "Let me drive. You carry Yusuf alone" said Arini. It seemed that Joseph wanted to sleep, his eyes were already glued once. Pity if in moved sling, fear of the toddler even woke up and did not fall asleep.

Leon hands Arini the keys to his car. Arini used to be lazy to drive a car, he prefers to use public transportation or online vehicles. But since Jasmine started attending school, Arini is not lazy to drive a car anymore.

"Oh, huh?" Leon was enthusiastic. He would be happy if Jasmine could channel the talent she had. "Later to find a great painting teacher" he continued.

There are many painters who are not rich. But that doesn't matter to Leon. Any work from painting or drawing can be many types. It can be architecture, interior designer, graphic designer, fashion designer, and many others. You don't have to paint on canvas.

Leon doesn't know whose painting talent Jasmine is descended from. Maybe Becca, or Rania. Because Leon lived with Becca not too long, so he did not know Becca well.

"It turns out that Joseph was really sleeping" Arini said, looking at Leon next to him. At the moment it was a red light, the queue was quite long, like there was a traffic jam ahead.

Leon looked down, and he saw Joseph in his trunk. Right said Arini, their boys slept very soundly.

"What the hell is ahead? Like there was an accident" Leon said, looking to the side.

Just as Leon turned his head, a hawker offered Leon some onion nuts. "Nuts, Mas! Just yell!" shouted a teenage boy from outside the car.

Leon who was feeling pity, bought the man's merchandise. "Two, huh?" Said Leon.

The seller gave Leon two packs of onion nuts. "This, Mas. Suitable for friends stuck. There was an accident ahead. Mr. ojek serempet Fuso. Mr. ojeknya wrong, already know the red light even broke through. It will be serembet. Good thing not to die." The seller spoke while shaking his hand in anger.

Leon nodded his head. It deserves to be stuck, there was an accident apparently. "Here, the change is for you, only!" Leon said while giving twenty thousand to the merchant.

"Thank you, Mom. Cheap food." After saying accept it, the merchant passed and went back to peddling his merchandise.

"Great pity Mr. Ojeknya," muttered Arini while playing pop music through a tape on the car.

"Pity indeed. But he was wrong. The more pity is that Fuso driver." Leon said while eating the beans he had just bought.

Leon's been on holiday on purpose today. He wanted to spend a moment with Arini and rest his brain from work.

Arini changed the music on tape to radio. And at that time the music played by the radio station was owned by Calina - Leon's ex-wife.

"It's Calina's song" Arini said, looking straight ahead. Arini so remember Calina, how are you now the dangdut biduan? They have not met for a long time. The last time Arini and Calina communicated, was a month ago via DM Instagram.

Leon was silent, he didn't know what to respond. He is afraid of mispronouncing and making Arini hurt.

Arini follows Calina's melodious voice, she sings along with Calina. Yes, even though Arini's voice is discordant, but at least he has high self-confidence.

Leon wants to rebuke Arini's voice, but he's not up to the heart. He just pretended not to listen.

After being stuck in traffic for twenty minutes, they could finally be free as well.

When he wanted to get out of the car to the area in the restaurant, Yusuf woke up. "Pal. Suf lapal," he said, rubbing his eyes with his hands.

"Yusuf, hungry? We eat, huh?" leon said as he rubbed the top of Joseph's head fondly.

"What do you want to order?" Arini asked Leon while thrusting out a menu book.

"Fifth-level rice and orange leaf rice."

"If I want fried chicken and krispi skin. The numbers are normal." Arini said while writing the order on paper.

Arini did not order spicy food so that Joseph could eat with her.

"Au cama Mama." Joseph whined while extending his hand to be carried with Arini.

"Just like Mama, yuk!" Arini takes Joseph from Leon's arms. "Ups, smart boy." Arini kissed Joseph's puffed cheek with anxiety.

Leon checked his watch. In an hour, Jasmine is back at school. Hopefully they don't get stuck in traffic anymore.

Once their order came, they immediately enjoyed it. Because it's at the restaurant, so Arini feeds Joseph a meal. It could be that the ship broke this restaurant if Joseph ate it himself.

"Au ulit yam, Ma." Yusuf refuses when Arini feeds him with fried chicken.

Finally Arini changed the fried chicken side dish into chicken skin.

"You why? Have you seen the clock?" Arini asked as she looked at Leon as if she was not focusing on eating.

"Jasmine is back at school. The journey from here to old school."

"Please ask Bude Ani" said Arini while feeding Yusuf.

"I've never picked up Jasmine. I should have picked him up today from school" Leon said frustratedly. Leon had never even picked up Jasmine from school.  Usually he just takes us. Once there was a time off, he was even negligent and looked for a place to eat away from Jasmine school.

"Tomorrow you're off again, just. Or else, go home for a while to pick up Jasmine, after which leave for work again."

Leon just nodded.
