Chapter 79: Blood Repaid With Blood

The sound rippled, as the Star-owned dagger smashed into the invisible barrier that emerged from behind the man's figure. The star leapt back and stayed for a moment, as did the Moon which had since arrived in the room chosen to stand in its place quietly.

"You two?" The figure immediately revealed the best smile, he who was looking in the other direction immediately turned around and found the figure of the Star and Moon with a look of disbelief.

"Flinton? Ezekiel, you're here too." The star walked over and returned his dagger into the void. The star hugged the two with joy, she thought they were in serious danger and were stuck somewhere, to the point of not returning to Mavis' side.

"Where have you guys been? Don't you guys know? Master was very worried about you two," said the Star, then he released a hug from Ezekiel's body.

"Who are they?" The star noticed the presence of three other figures behind the two. The three figures looked familiar. Wearing a covered black hooded outfit, as he often did back then as a disguise, the Star was a little curious about the figure behind the hood.

"Ah sorry, I forgot to introduce them to you guys." Flint scratched his head before starting to introduce the three mysterious figures that came with him. "They are our faithful comrades to follow the trust of the former king."

"Let me introduce them one by one. Starting from the youngest, his name is Scott, he has a very high spirit. Then the beautiful woman next to him was named Violet, although she looked much older than Scott, they were lovers. And lastly, the old man there his name is...."

"He must be Wed."

The star cut off Flint's words, as his bead looked at the old man who was about to be introduced to him. The stars know exactly who he is, because the relationship between the two is not as simple as it seems. The old man held both his hands around his waist, chuckling as the Star spoke his name so well.

"The way you still remember this old man. And look, you've grown into a more brash girl."

"Greetings to the Elder." In contrast to his brother's rough-talking habits, Moon walked over to greet the old man. "It's good to see the elder again. Where are the other elders?"

Wed's face turned sour and he was reluctant to answer. Likewise with the other four who came together, along put on a forced smile. The moon that has high intelligence soon knows something is being hidden, bad things must have happened to them.

"Did they all betray? Their absence here indicates they clearly did not heed the mandate of the previous king!" The star became angry, once it realized what was happening.

"What is this storm?"

The door of the room opened and the figure of a young man in charming clothes entered followed by his servants. The man was none other than Mavis himself. He paused at the door to find out what was going on.

"Flinton? The ezekiel? Apparently it's you guys?" Mavis sighed heavily upon learning that her conjecture had been wrong. It turned out that it was not a group of assassins who had come looking for him, but rather a figure he had known for a long time.

While the other three were aware of what happened, they also positioned themselves half prostrate towards Mavis. All three were not stupid, if Flint and Ezekiel did such a tribute, it must be that the figure before the three now was the one who would become their master.

"It's an honor for me to be able to meet the Great Lord. Taking the name Wed and my family, I swear allegiance to my Master" Wed said with great determination.

"Greetings, to the Great Lord, accept the loyalty of the blood of the Cloud family, the last descendant, Violet swore to serve my Master."

"I'm Scott, also sworn allegiance to the Great Lord. Even though I am young, my Master can count on me."

The three carved Mavis' heart and made her rejoice. Although Mavis did not know exactly what was happening, she nodded and allowed the three to stand up. However, Mavis becomes so happy that Flint and Ezekiel have returned from their journey.

Mavis actually already has the intention to go look for both of them and at the same time pay a visit to the hideout of the demon race. He planned to leave after his affairs in his kingdom had been completed, including new things about the removal of his residence in settlements located in the southern border region.

"Can you tell me what has happened while you were outside?" Mavis asked after she placed her body sitting on the bed, while the five of them lined up not far in front of her. As they were being tried, the five could not help but tell the truth, even more so they had sworn allegiance to Mavis.

"Master, something has happened in the settlement of our demon race. That place had now changed, they referred to it as the Demon Kingdom. It happened after the appearance of a demonic figure named Azazel who was one of the previous demon commanders. Of course, the appearance is very strange for some of our people. Many argue that Azazel committed treason and fled in the midst of a war with the sky gods. Causing him to still survive after all the destruction back then. Others, however, chose to support Azazel to lead the demon race back to glory" Flint said.

"When Ezekiel and I first arrived at the place, we were immediately taken and went to the judgment. The demons there had gotten the wrong doctrine about the demons who were out of seclusion. They consider demons like us who betray because they leave the settlement. Therefore, we had a time of punishment and were locked up there."

"Fortunately, after Ezekiel and I opened their mouths during the judgment hearing, reveal all the information that there has been the emergence of a Great Lord as predicted by the previous king to lead the demon race to a period of victory and peaceful life, many of the faithful friends with the trust of the previous king secretly gathered and planned."

There were battles outside the settlement, many of our brothers who sacrificed to buy a little time so we could leave."

"However, it's unfortunate. Only five of us survived the escape. At the last moment, we saw Azazel come and start slaughtering our brothers."

"You need not feel burdened, their deaths are not in vain because you have come to me. Believe me, I will avenge their deaths one day. So, you guys stop blaming yourself." Mavis said with a warm smile, she knew it was very heavy for all five.

"Blood will be avenged with blood, I will make sure Azazel gets the right reply from his actions." In silence, Mavis sends the message to all her summoned creatures.

Mavis is completely determined on her promise, one day she will come and knock on her door to collect the debt of life to a demon named Azazel. Mavis would repay him a million times as the price for offending him, as well as punishing his loyal servants Flint and Ezekiel without his permission.
