Chapter 46: A Border Land
His footsteps stopped when he arrived at the door of the king's residence. As soon as the guards saw Mavis coming, they opened the door and allowed the prince to enter.
"You wait here." Mavis sends a message to her summoned creature via telepathy. After that he walked into the room.
The door closed and Mavis immediately circulated her gaze in search of the whereabouts of King Cornelius. It did not take long and significant effort, he saw the king sitting on a wooden chair behind the desk. When the eyes met, the king smiled and called,
"Come here."
That way the new Mavis first sees the contents of the king's room - beyond the memory of the previous owner of the body - taking a look around. He was slightly amazed by the area of this room which was almost twice as large as his room. Also, when he saw the furniture on display neatly, it was the king's collection items, making him unable to stop admiring. Moreover, the large painting of a woman displayed on the wall that she passed by, was the face of someone who was no stranger in her memory. The painting looks like the face of Queen Lilian, her mother.
"Sit down."
Mavis took a sitting position, then saw the king. His mind began to second guess in a short time about what the king wanted to discuss with him?
"How are you today?" king Cornelius said with a warm look.
"Okay, Your Majesty," said Mavis.
"I haven't talked to you two in a long time like this. I'm glad you're willing to come. I had thought you wouldn't come and was still angry because of the punishment I gave you earlier, son." The King said with a complicated face.
"Your Majesty thinks too much about something unnecessary. Regarding that punishment, since I have done bad before, then it is appropriate that I get a punishment from His Majesty."
Hearing Mavis' words, King Cornelius breathed a sigh of relief.
Then he took something from the storage room in the drawer and put something on the table.
"King Ragnar entrust something to you, this as a gift from the annulment of your match with Princess Judh. Here, take it." The King gave Asta a scroll of parchment.
"What's this?"
"You can examine it for yourself" said King Cornelius. "It seems that your relationship with King Ragnar is very good, he even gave a gift as an apology. You surprise me, son." King Cornelius chuckled as he watched the prince open the parchment curiously in the face.
"It's...."
Mavis was hit by a surprise attack while reading the sentence after sentence on the parchment. This is actually a legitimate proof of ownership of a territory in the name of Asta Dixon, given by King Ragnar.
Mavis nodded.

"Okay, Your Majesty." He swiftly allowed the king to walk and condition the guards for escort.
Once that was done, he walked up to Mavis and embraced her. "Son, you really surprised me again. Come on, tell me, what were you talking about with your father?"
Because Kayle felt Mavis had something to do with the previous conversation between King Cornelius and King Ragnar, she dragged Mavis to the back and whispered something near Mavis' ear.
