I'M THE NECROMANCER KING

I'M THE NECROMANCER KING
Chapter 125: Mysterious Existence

"You there, come here!" A woman dressed in all white who was carrying a tray walked over to Yennefer, then called out to him in a half-snapsing tone.

"Senior Ha? Did you call me?" yennefer said, pointing to himself in confusion.

"Who else is there, huh? Do you think I'm stupid for talking to myself?"

Being in a large room where the children gathered and ate food, Yennefer who sat at the corner table was approached by three women. Standing at the vanguard, the woman was named Hana, the senior disciple of the twelfth generation in the holy temple. His stature was high, with brown unraveling hair, as well as having thick eyebrows, making his trademark appear on him as a notoriously fierce senior.

"Ba-good."

Yennefer soon woke up from shock, then approached Hana and her two seniors. A slight suspicious feeling arose in Yennefer's mind about the ill intentions that his senior had hidden. Especially after he saw the trivial and cruel gaze coming from his two friends. For a moment he thought, has he accidentally provoked his seniors?

"What's the need, Senior Ha?" Yennefer.

"Head Renald told me to give you this." Afterwards Hana handed over the tray that contained a lot of hard bread to her juniors. "Give this food to the prisoners, I will show you the way."

"Head Renald gave this task to me? Alright, I will do this task with pleasure. Sorry if I'm troubling Senior."

"There's no need to thank you, after all I'm only helping you because Chief Renald asked for it."

Hana and her two friends then walked first, followed by Yennefer who saw the three backs from behind. The four of them left the cafeteria room and went up the hall the longer the lighting dimmed. Walking quite a distance, after descending the steps until they finally arrived at a black iron door that was locked with a magic spell. Then Hana came forward to approach the door and immediately moved her hands like she was making an attempt to unseal the door with a spell.

Yennefer quietly glanced from behind, trying to understand how the senior was using a spell to open it. That understanding seems very difficult and complicated to understand for most people, but it does not apply to a genius who only appears in a hundred years like that girl. It was easy for Yennefer to remember, the movements and chants that his seniors performed looked like children's toys to him.

After a while of time passed, with great effort Hana finally managed to open the door. Then he instructed his junior to go in to start handing out the hard bread that was on the tray to the prisoners inside. Yennefer nodded, despite having a bad premonition he tried to trust the three seniors, moreover this task was given directly by Chief Renald.

"Senior, I have something to ask you about this place...." Yennefer found something was wrong in this place, he turned his back, intending to ask Hana and the other two seniors. Only he found the woman grinning with an ugly face, before finally closing the door.

"Senior Ha! Senior!"

Yennefer banged on the door repeatedly, but no one responded from the outside. With his strength still remaining he took a few steps back and began casting spells towards that door. Immediately, explosion after explosion was directed at the door, but none of the attacks it launched had any impact on the door. The previous spell that his senior used to open the door had even tried to open it, but it was no longer powerful.

"Whoever, please!"

With a shrill voice Yennefer leaned against the door and slowly shrank down sitting to the bottom of the floor. He looked towards the front with a gasp of breath, then found that the path in that place was straight far away and looked like endless darkness. While it is on the right and left side of the road, there are iron bars which are prisons in that place.

"Can I end up in a place like this?" In his heart Yennefer did not believe that his life would end in a very bad state. Moreover, his death was unknown as to what cause, he did not even understand why his senior would be able to trap him in this dangerous place. Stupidly he thought it was very good to be the chosen child in this place called the holy temple, but he did not realize what dangers were waiting for him.

After all the rice had become porridge, there was nothing to regret. Yennefer smiled before his vision slowly worsened. He has resigned to his condition and is sure that he will not be able to last much longer, so he intends to close both eyes. However, something shocking happened shortly after he closed both eyes.

"You have a clean heart, it would be a pity if you had to die in a bad place like this." The voice sounded soft amid the silence of the room, making Yennefer re-open his eyes in disbelief that there was someone else in the place.

"Who?"

"Who I am is not important, it's just that maybe I am the only existence that can help you get out of this place. There's no need to be afraid of me, not to mention my current situation that there's not much I can do."

Yennefer slowly regained his entire senses restored. His body returned lightly as if the death aura that was seeping towards him had suddenly been unable to reach him, like something from outside was protecting him.

"Thank you for helping me. May I ask what this place really is?" Yennefer got up and walked over while talking to the mysterious existence. He glanced around him, then found the awkwardness in all the rooms behind the bars.

Isn't this like a dungeon? Why is there no occupant in each prison? Along the way, Yennefer continued to find piles of bones and skeletons instead of seeing human or other living creatures.
