In hotel.
Hayson sat in the chair. His legs were sprained and only one hand could be moved.
Ethan had given her that one nice hand so she could make a few phone calls.
Hayson was calm at this moment.
"I've called and arranged for people to bring these three men in my place." He looked at Ethan and gritted his teeth. "But are you sure you can leave Silicon Valley intact?"
Hayson sneered.
"People in Silicon Valley will not let these people leave this place alive!"
These people bring knowledge about the best technology in the world, and have all the research data about the most advanced integrated circuits. Releasing these people was tantamount to unleashing their best troops!
Hayson's words were filled with hatred and murder, and he didn't bother being polite.
This is Silicon Valley, a place where they have had control for the last few decades and for almost a century now!
The forces that support them control the economies of some regions because of the technology they have. So even if they had to pay the price, they would never let anyone take any resources from them!
"You sure you want to keep me here?" Ethan turned to look at Hayson as he drank a mouthful of water. "I don't think you're gonna do that."
Keep him here?
And not respectfully send him away?
Ethan's a little amused. He got closer and closer to the Third World again, and returned to this familiar territory. He wondered if his old friends missed him.
Palmer Group wants to grow, and they are destined to be a company above all others. They will be a large conglomerate that has international influence.
And the real upper-class society was the Third World they were talking about!
There was wealth, power, and status unrivalled in the Third World.
The Third World people were the ones who truly controlled the world.
The future direction of the Palmer Group is to gain a foothold in the Third World, or even to gain a strong and influential foothold.
This might just be a dream for Diane, or even an impossible dream.
Ethan continued to sit quietly and elegantly in his chair.
He was not bothered by Hayson's threats.
He knew that the hotel was surrounded by people.
Tescon is a strong company in the region, and the Hayson family is very strong in the illegal circle.
Hayson was in middle management at Tescon, and although he did not hold a very high position in the family, his identity and position could not be ignored.
If anything happens to her, her family will definitely respond.
But Ethan remains unperturbed.
Ethan's phone suddenly rang.
He glanced at the number and ignored the call.
Hayson looked at Ethan threateningly.
"Aren't you going to take it and see who called you?" he snorted coldly. "Maybe someone tried to convince you not to judge death."
Hayson was convinced that his family had come to his rescue. Everyone below is his family's property and it will be difficult for Ethan to escape!
Even if the three men were sent here, there was no way Ethan could take them away. In fact, they might all die here!
But Ethan keeps ignoring Hayson.
He got up and looked out the window. Several dozen cars were parked at the lower-floor entrance and the entire hotel was surrounded.
There were layers and layers of people both inside and outside the hotel, and they swarmed the hotel like ocean waves.
"Fear now?" Hayson's lips curled into a smile. "I told you, even if I hand those people over to you, you might not be able to leave this place at all."
"You don't know what the significance of these three men is."
"Then how do you think your own life is compared to theirs?"
