Chapter 97

Lately rumors are spreading in the Daisy housing complex. However, Daisy does not yet know why her neighbors stare cynically at her and her husband.

This morning Daisy and Anwar board a car to Fara's house. When he passed by his neighbor he nodded politely. However, the reply he got was a sneer from mothers whose home was not far from where he lived.

"I feel like there's been something weird with them lately, Mas" Daisy said.

"Later before going to my brother's house we stopped by to buy fruits first yes Mas." Anwar glanced at it and smiled.

While at the fruit shop, a middle-aged woman who knew Daisy rebuked him. "Sir, have you heard anything about your husband?" The mother glanced at Anwar who did not come down.

"What's the matter, Mom?" ask Daisy.

"Is it true that Mas Anwar ever intended to feed Daisy before Daisy's mother became pregnant?"

The next day, Daisy visits Rena's house. Rena was shocked when she saw Daisy and her husband standing at the door. "What do you want?" ask her with a slightly snapping tone.

"We came here with good intentions. I want to visit Laras," said Anwar conveying his intention.

Rena surprised. His heart suddenly warmed. "He's at home" he said. After that Rena drove them to meet Laras.

"Ras, look who's coming" Rena exclaimed at the girl whose hair was falling apart. Laras.

"Mas Anwar." Laras ran towards Anwar and hugged him. Daisy is jealous. But he tried to calm down and control his emotions. Anwar took a quick look at the wife to ask permission so she could get close to Laras. Daisy nodded.

"Ras, please forget me!" anwar said softly. The barrel shed tears.

"Mas Anwar I love you" Laras said to tears.

Anwar gently rubbed his hair. "You're a beautiful woman. There must be a lot of guys out there who want you."

Laras thought of Anwar's words. Laras crying. He regretted being too ambitious for Anwar. "I'm going out. I'm going out." However, Baras suddenly went berserk. His family found it hard to calm himself.
