Chapter 41

Anwar takes an ambulance to help Cello. Fara was in the ambulance. She held her husband's hand tightly. She also prayed that her husband would be safe.

At Anwar's apartment investigating who had stabbed Cello. Through CCTV of the apartment building, Anwar and his team obtained the license plate number of the perpetrator. Anwar immediately reported to the authorities.

The ambulance carrying Cello arrived at the hospital. The nurse immediately provided help and treated cello's wounds.

"The wound is too deep so we're going to have an operation" the doctor who examined Fara's condition told Reuters.

"Do your best for my husband, Doc." The doctor understood.

After that, Fara informed her in-laws. They came to the hospital after receiving news from Fara. "Ma." Fara hugged her mother-in-law when she just arrived.

Mama Cindy then rubbed her daughter-in-law's back to be calmer. "How did it happen? Why did Cello get to the hospital?" cecar Mama Cindy.

"Mas Cello was stabbed by a man who intended to rob our house" Fara said. Mama Cindy and Papa Devon were shocked to hear it.

"How can security there be such negligent?" papa Devon protest.

"He's the courier who delivers my food, Pa."

"Geez in this world it's hard to trust people. You must not have guessed that he would rob your house" said Mama Cindy. Fara nodded in confirming.

"Mas Anwar has taken care of everything. We just have to wait for the culprit to be arrested" said Fara.

"What matters now is that we pray for the Cello equally, hopefully the operation will run smoothly" said Papa Devon.

After three hours of waiting, the doctor finally came out of the operating room. "How's it going Doc?" ask Papa Devon who precedes Fara.

"Are you in the family of patients?" ask the doctor. The three of them nodded.

"Operation went well. The wound that was torn also we have sewed just wait for him to heal," he replied. There was a sense of relief in the hearts of the members of the Cello family after hearing the doctor's words.

"When can we see him?" ask Fara.

"After being transferred to the patient room" the doctor replied.

"Ma, tomorrow I take my first course so I can't skip it. Can you replace me to take care of Mas Cello?" Fara asked her mother-in-law for help.

"Of course, honey. You're leaving here?" Fara nodded.

"But I'll take my things first because I don't have a change of clothes and a bag" Fara said.

"alright. You better take it now. Later that night you watch Cello. Tomorrow morning, mama will come to look after him." Fara nodded in agreement.

Fara asks Anwar to pick her up. "Sorry Mas Anwar I'm troubling you. I want to get my stuff at home. Please help bring the goods later, yes, Mas," Pinta Fara to her husband's subordinates.

"Okay" Anwar replied.

They're headed to Fara's apartment building. When she was about to enter, the blood from her husband's stomach was no longer there. "Come, I'll go in first."

Anwar waits at the guest house while Fara packs her things. About an hour while cleaning yourself Fara just came out of the room. "I'm ready. I'm sorry I brought a lot of stuff with me tomorrow I go to college."

"Do I need to come to wait for your husband?" ask Anwar.

"No need to go to the office. I asked Mama for help." Anwar the mangosteen heard Fara's words.

After that they came out of Fara's apartment unit. "Fara," call Rendy. Fara and Anwar looked.

"Sorry, Ren. I rushed my husband to the hospital." Fara just passed Rendy. Rendy was so upset that she punched the wall that her hand hurt.

"Come in first I'll buy you some food" Anwar said.

"Thank you, Mum." Anwar has passed. When he almost arrived at the car park he saw Daisy holding his future fiancee.

"Mas Anwar," call Daisy.

"Which room is it in?" ask Daisy. But Anwar turned towards Arjuna. Daisy realizes and then explains the man she was holding with Anwar.

"Eh you guys haven't met. This is Mas Anwar my brother's subordinate, while this is Mas Arjuna my future fiance."

There was a sense of tightness when Daisy said that the man was her lover. Arjuna extended a hand first after which Anwar replied to him. "You go into the VVIP room there's Fara there. I'll buy food for him first" said Anwar.

Daisy's hand was twitching on Arjuna's arm. They walked to the hospital room where his brother was. "Sister Fara," call Daisy when you see Fara outside.

Fara looked towards Daisy. "You guys here?" ask Fara.

"How's Brother doing?" ask Daisy. Arjuna was silent from now on. He's not interested in the state of the cello.

"Not yet conscious. The operation just finished. Let's get him in!" fara's orders to her sister-in-law.

"Where is the story, brother?" daisy asks Fara about what happened to her brother.

"Our house was almost robbed. Mas Cello fought the criminal but he used a knife to stab my husband" Fara said.

Daisy is surprised while Arjuna is interested in hearing Fara's story. "Have the culprit been caught?" ask Arjuna. Daisy quietly commented a smile.

"Mas Anwar is looking for him" replied Fara.

Soon Anwar returned with some fast food. "I buy more you can eat too" Anwar told the newspaper.

"Please Mas Anwar" Daisy and Fara said.

After that, Anwar chose to go home. Seeing Daisy who already has a hand in making Anwar heartbroken. She liked Daisy a long time ago but she did not dare to express her feelings to the girl. She felt unworthy to be the daughter-in-law of a respected family like the Devon family. So Anwar chose to harbour his feelings all this time.

Arjuna was astonished. "They're that close to her husband's subordinates?" inner Arjuna.

Long enough Daisy was there Arjuna was bored. He looked at the clock that was coiled around his wrist. "Can we go home now? I have a meeting tomorrow morning" Arjuna told Daisy.

"Oh, yes sorry, Mas." A moment later he looked at his brother-in-law. "I'm saying goodbye, brother. Let me know if there's any progress" Daisy told Fara. Fara nodded in understanding.

While walking towards the parking lot Arjuna took off Daisy's hand. Daisy is weird. "Mas Juna why?"
