COST 10 BILLION
Chapter 62

Devon booked a taxi for Lisa. Lisa refused to be driven home by the man. He asks Devon to follow his wife. "Explain to him so that there is no misunderstanding. I don't want to be accused of being an actor" Lisa said before getting into a taxi.

"Calm down! I'll explain everything to Cindy. Take a break and take medicine if you need to" Devon told Lisa.

After making sure Lisa left, Devon got into his own car. When she got home, Cindy threw the pillow out of the room. "Sleep outside!"

"Ma, I'm gonna grab a shirt for a second" said Devon.

"At the outside I'll get you your clothes" Cindy replied tightly.

Devon shakes his shoulders. Daisy who saw her papa while going down the stairs suddenly looked away. He was also upset to learn his father was cheating. That's what Daisy has in mind right now because when Devon was asked he didn't answer.

A moment later Cindy throws dry clothes at Devon. "Where am I changing clothes?" ask Devon.

"Change clothes in the guest room under me."

Brakes

Cindy slammed the door. Devon ruffled his hair in frustration. But he will explain tomorrow if his wife starts to calm down.

Mama Cindy cried all night. "Bad you, Mas. Why are you still in touch with Lisa?"

Tok tok tok tok

Daisy knocked on her mother's room. "What else, Mom?" mama Cindy shouted from inside.

"It's Daisy, Ma."

Mama Cindy wiped her tears and walked over to open the door. "Ma, can I sleep here?"

Daisy intends to accompany her sad mother. Mama Cindy nodded.

"Ma, do you know who the woman that Papa helped?" ask Daisy to be curious.

"She was a woman in your father's past. He used to be Mr. Bayu's fiancee, but he was more interested in your papa. She was the third person among us" explained Cindy's mom, telling her past stories related to Lisa.

"Who's the woman's name, Ma?"

"Lisa's. Although he was growing older, his face did not change. My mom was disappointed with your dad. Why did he choose to help the woman and ignore her feelings."

Mama Cindy crying. Daisy hugged her mother to be more calm. "Don't think negatively, Ma. Papa helps only on humanitarian grounds."

"Eitherway. Anyway, tomorrow mom wants to ask for clarity. She chose her mother or that woman. Mama can't stand honey. We better split up. Mama will spend the rest of her life taking care of her grandchildren."

"Don't be like that, Ma. I still need my mom. Mom is not a housekeeper. We'd better listen to papa's explanation tomorrow." Mama Cindy nodded in agreement with her daughter's proposal.

Meanwhile, in Cello's apartment, Fara is reading a book about pregnancy before going to bed. "Read what, baby? Seriously," scolded the husband.

"Here I read about information about pregnant women. I want to take good care of our child" replied Fara. Cello joined his wife.

"Close the book first. It's night you have to rest" said Cello giving orders to his wife. Fara nodded in agreement.

"What is she now?" Cello rubbed his wife's stomach. Fara felt overwhelmed. She was very happy to be a mother-to-be. Especially the husband is so attentive.

"Try listening!"

Cello who from the beginning was curious finally put his ear to the stomach of the wife. "There was no sound" he said, looking up.

"Maybe it's because he's still a few weeks old. Try it later if it is over four months. Mas Cello must have felt her."

Cello held a smile. "You know a lot of information from reading that book."

"I can't wait to feel her kick in my stomach, Mas." Fara rubbed her still flat stomach gently.

"Mas promise not to turn away from me." Fara's words made Cello think.

"Why suddenly talk like that?" ask the cello to his wife.

"Was papa having an affair with the woman he helped? Why is papa so quick to help her and ignore her?" accuse Fara.

"Eitherway. All this time I didn't know how papa was out there. However, I hope that papa is not such a man. There must be a reason we don't know."

"Hopefully you can explain to Mom." Fara hopes that no major problems arise after Devon helps the woman he does not know.

"Sleep baby!" Cello kissed his wife's forehead with a pity.

The next day Devon waited for his wife at the dinner table but there seemed to be no sign of her going out. "Daisy, papa's leaving for work now."

"I'll be leaving with Mas Anwar" Daisy told the newspaper.

Devon feels sorry for helping Lisa on last night's show. But if she doesn't help the woman, Lisa could drown.

When Devon Badu parked his car. Lisa approaching. "Lisa, what's the matter here early in the morning?" ask Devon.

"Lisa! Where are you running to?" The baritone's voice frightened Lisa.

Who is he about?
