Despite taking a different path, the monsters kept popping up, I took a position in front of Karl while pulling my sword.
The sword swung out and it created a slash of water that slashed across anything in front of it.
Unlike when fighting Dog Hunter these black wolves are not very strong, I can kill them several in one slash.
"Water Slash, then Water Boom."
The exploding water ball was something I made myself although it did not produce any damage it was enough to outwit many enemies.
I sent one of the flying wolves into the tree unconscious.
I jumped up to slash another one before finally darting towards Karl who was ahead first.
"There."
I can see a building standing, although it is called a fortress I think its shape only resembles a small castle. Some people with heavy armor were fighting some goblins.
I thought monster attacks could vary like this as well, there was a Griffon over our heads that dropped some rocks from above.
Sure enough, the monsters here were obviously extremely ferocious, though, among the soldiers were two men who looked radiant one was a brightly amored woman with a sword as well as purple shoulder-length hair and another bearded man who had turned white with his hair.
"You've returned Karl."
"I brought it."
"It's just one guy and why is he wearing a mask?" said the man.
"Can we trust him?" added the woman.
"I'm sorry but I'm an expert at killing."
I pulled my sword and sheathed it back.
In just an instant all the monsters were killed even the Griffons fell.
The two people who doubted me just paled while shouting.
"... Heeehh..?"
"What the fuck just now?"
"I cut them off."
"I didn't even see you move."
I looked back where Valentine came up from behind the trees while pulling Harty behind him.
"We're done."
"Let my stomach hurt."
Harty must be eating weird food again.
"And I am Amarzuki vice-captain, nice to meet you."
"Together, I'm Lion's Valentine and also Harty."
"Lion should you introduce me too?"
"Your sword is talking?"
"This is Rion."
"You ignored our question" cried the three.
The sword basically did not speak it obviously attracted a lot of questions. I changed the conversation to a more important topic.
"So how to stop this catastrophic factor?"
"This can be solved by killing the king who leads the enemy army or waiting until the moon disappears."
"And how long is that?"
"One month."
It was clearly something impossible, waiting for a month was tantamount to waiting for the entire village to be destroyed.

"How else can we not be willing to ask for meat, if you want you can go hunting alone."
