Called To Another World By An Evil Goddess
Chapter 86: A Lie

Elsewhere the guards began to evacuate everyone out of the city.

"Go here, quickly leave town."

One of the guards said.

"Captain, the entire vanguard has been wiped out."

"You gotta be kidding me, they're over 100 people."

"With such a large body even thousands would be meaningless."

"We just have to give up on this, I'll buy you guys time to leave town too."

"But captain Ryker."

"It's an order."

All the guards saluted before running with the other residents.

Although Ryker is 18 years old he has been the youngest captain of all because of his ability, so he also has a big responsibility that he has to bear.

Even if he died at the very least, it would be a little more lives saved.

Ryker pulled the sword on his waist while another sword he got on the body of his lifeless subordinate.

"You are the Titans."

Ryker's blond hair fluttered as he leaped from the top of the house building towards the nearby giants.

He swung his sword as much as he could, it was able to destroy the protective magic that enveloped the giants but just as the blade hit the iron coating section.

Both of his swords were smashed apart.

As Ryker's body counterattacks across several houses, just as he stood up one family seemed to hug each other with terrified gazes.

"Why are you guys here, let's go?" just as he said that a hand smashed the wall of the house as well as one family to pieces leaving fresh blood flowing clear.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa."

As he despair another hand grips your body, when he will be destroyed.

A Ranger figure appeared from above and landed on top of the house.

"I think that's enough, let this one live.he's the leader of the guards in this town but he's more concerned with others than he is, at least we give him life this time alone."

The giant only walked away after putting Ryker in front of the Ranger, so that the two could look at each other.

Their names sounded similar but they obviously had no sibling relationship or so, it was just pure coincidence.

"Why are you doing this? You destroyed this city and even killed everyone" Ryker's voice was shrouded in anger.

"Why are you asking? It's not natural that you humans took our land and we want to take it back."

"What do you mean, from the beginning this was our land, you Titans who tried to take it thousands of years ago."

"That's exactly what you know.. If you want to know everything why don't you ask one of the Arch Priests who serve the holy goddess, where is she? If it's not wrong he's in the tower of Aira, I think if you ask him you'll be told or maybe even killed."

"Don't say anything weird about her."

Ryker runs towards his enemy, before he realizes a blow landed on his stomach until he falls and falls from the height of the roof of the house.

"If you want to blame someone then blame your ancestors and the goddess you worship."

During the night a heavy sensation was felt by Ryker, he hurriedly threw away the ruins that had befallen his body and immediately got up to shift his gaze in all directions.

Unless disaster was nothing to be found, especially the human bodies that were cut into pieces on the streets made him want to vomit.

He punched the wall while muttering.

"What is really going on in this continent?" of course the question did not reach anyone, no matter how many times he asked there was no answer he received.

Although it was upset that what his enemy said was true, if he wanted to know it then in only one way, he had to go to the tower of Aira.

Either he ends up being told or killed whatever doesn't matter? All he wanted to hear now was the truth.

With a slow start, Ryker's journey begins.
